Access to Customer Service forum is crucial for F2P. It would take maybe a full time job from BW of deleting spam and offtopic, but it would ease some of the barrier that every F2P faces, and probably result in more subs. Maybe restricted to Preferred Status. Probably could be even optimized if every F2P post was internally flagged and easier to screen for Mods, in a priority system for post review. Anything else, I don't see the point. Had a subscription renewal problem, and not being able to post on the customer support forum was a serious handicap. There should be another way, besides the cruel and agonizingly useless phone support, to post a problem, and try to get help from the community.

I'm having trouble with an Arkanian set bonus. I have two pieces (boots and gauntlets). The boots register the set bonus correctly (it shows highlighted in green). Obviously does not give the set bonus cause it's only one piece. The Gauntlets I got yesterday give the bonus if I equip them (arkanian gauntlets) with the original armoring. (correctly displays two piece set bonus highlighted in green in boots and gauntlets). The problem starts when I extract the armoring from the arkanian piece and put it in CZ13k gloves: the set piece bonus is no more, and gloves don't get highlighted in green, no set bonus. I understand that prior 2.0 pieces don't stack on set bonus but these are both post 2.0 and clearly stack because when I equip the arkanian piece I got yesterday, it registers the set bonus on both boots and gloves. I also understand that atm the set bonus is attached to armoring mod and not the "shell" piece, so it should work on my adaptative gloves piece. Am I missing something? I only found threads in here about the prior vs post 2.0 pieces not stacking. I think the problem I have is different. I'll post pics later if needed. I've retested this a few times: every time I test again is another 18k extracting two armor mods, and it's getting expensive. thank you

Thanks for answering. I find it funny the trolls came out hard to bash on the people complaining, like they have some higher, more knowledgeable perspective. It's subjective, no one is wrong. For some people it's a minor problem, for others it's a major setback for whatever reasons. Saying you're wrong/noob/alienated because you complain is vintage trollish behavior imo. But to each it's own opinion. I redid all progress lost, and nothing was lost for good, so I guess it was a minor inconvenience at best for me. I overcame the initial outrage. And this things do happen with everything hardware and software based. But the response from BW/EA/CS is off putting. I do think this game has positioned itself as premium: a subscribing game is more expensive for the player than a one time payment at least for me. Also, the amount invested into the game was record-breaking. So I expected the correspondent treatment after something like this. The legitimate expectations of paying customers were defrauded. So: "silence" followed by "we're sorry, deal with it, we hope it never happens again" is a lacking response in my opinion. I don't think there's anything wrong in feeling they should have done better in explaining and/or compensating. Still I appreciate the effort from BW/CS to communicate and apologize.

Outraged first. Then disappointed. And now forcibly and painfully made aware of how a game can be a waste of life. And all thanks to BW. I'm gonna make the best of my already payed sub and then quietly fade away. Systems crash and crap happens, but I was expecting a premium service, since this game charges premium rates as far as gaming goes. instead, we get silence and no explanation/fix/compensation or even a proper apology.

I want to join the collective rant. Red eclipse server rollback. What a disappointment. Several hours lost, XP, missions, gear, ... and on a payed service you expect a better experience. I do hope they fix, compensate, and take measures to not let this happen again. Sad.
