  1. The video they released that first showed the new long female hairstyle leading up to 2.1 showed it clipping through the armor. I saw a lot of people in the forums taking this as an informal disclaimer from BW basically saying, "Okay, we're giving players the long hairstyles you've been asking for, but heads up, they are gonna have clipping issues" I have both the male and female long hairstyles each on consulars and haven't yet had any clipping issues, but I knew when I payed the CC there was a chance that I would.
  2. No, they actually said they are and that the goal was 2.2 Link here for the Gold post: http://www.swtor.com/community/showpost.php?p=6265831&postcount=206
  3. In the latest email sent out there was a spot at the bottom stating that all Shipment 1 Cartel Packs and Hypercrates are due to be embargoed on the eleventh, meaning you won't be able to get them or the items they contain anymore except on the GTN until current supplies are gone. This includes Revan's armor. This could mean they are discontinuing the current version and plan to release a new one. We'll see what happens after the 11th of June.
  4. I posted a pic of my dyed Conservator Armor earlier, but here is my new Cathar Jedi Sage, I named him Swiftpride. Not a big fan of the current hairstyle options for Cathar so he'll probably stay hooded but I included shots of him with and without a hood. Full Body: http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nshotsman/SwiftprideMariner_zpsf9a28dad.jpg Hooded Close-up: http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nshotsman/SwiftprideHood_zpsd23fbab0.jpg No Hood Close-up: http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nshotsman/Swiftpride_zps6492e9f5.jpg
  5. I haven't leveled my Cathar yet, but this is my level 45 Jedi Sage. The armor is the Classic Conservator set with Jedi Initiate's lower armor because I didn't like the Conservator pants. The dye is the Cartel Market Dark Blue and Brown. Kind of looks like a mash up of Qui Gon and Lord Elrond lol http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag36/nshotsman/KorlihnConserv_zps4634101a.jpg
  6. My point is that I don't understand why someone would want to pay real money for Cartel Coins to access credits you've already earned, when for $15 a month you can get unlimited access to the credits you earn, plus higher xp gain, unlimited access to flashpoints, a minimum of 500 Cartel Coins, etc. Sounds like a waste of money to me but to each their own I guess.
  7. I would say yes only if it reset you to level 10, otherwise your getting new advanced class abilities without doing the work to earn them. But of course, if your going to reset to level 10, then you might as well re-roll a new character.
  8. Have you logged in with each character that has bound collections items. I logged in with all of my alts and each time my collections tab updated accordingly
  9. Did you claim it to your inventory, then right click it in your inventory to open it?
  10. You do realize that the Escrow Transfer offered in the Cartel Market isn't a permanent unlock right? It's a one time transfer of a select amount of escrow funds. Once you spend those transferred funds you have to purchase another transfer to access additional escrow funds.
  11. Correct existing style options will only cost the per slider amount to change
  12. Every slider (Hairstyle, hair color, eye color, head, etc) will cost Cartel Coins to change. The hair colors and styles that were priced in the patch notes are referring to sets of customization option additions on those sliders. You will first have to pay Cartel Coins to unlock those options on your account. Then if you choose to make changes to an existing character using those unlocked options you will pay for those changes on a per slider basis through the Kiosk
  13. Fully agree with you on that. But it is what it is. And we still haven't seen what the CC costs are for the account wide unlocks, so it may not even be that big of deal. It may be worth the cost for players to not have to mail things back and forth from toon to toon.
  14. Hallelujah to that lol, everyday it was a new thread about the same complaint, this should be free, that should be free, let them go whine on Facebook and save the forums for bigger concerns I'm still excited for 2.1, all in all I think it's great progress.
  15. Oh I'll buy the new styles too, I really like that long hair style the character in the video had. And I'm not gonna get overly upset about it because it won't change anything, and it is, like you said, completely cosmetic. I'm not even surprised they designed it that way. Basically, like I said, I'm just surprised that the people that have been most vocal in opposition to this not being free for subs aren't on here screaming about this now....or maybe they just haven't read or realized it yet lol.
  16. Yes there is. They switched them to bind to your character so that they can charge us Cartel Coins in the Collections Tab to unlock them Account Wide. I'm pretty certain that's exactly why they switched them to character bind.
  17. I've been following it pretty closely and the only thing I saw them talk about having to unlock in the Kiosk was the Cathar (or any other race not already unlocked) They never said, or even implied, that you would first have to pay Cartel Coins to unlock the new Hair Styles/Colors, etc for your account before you paid for them AGAIN to be applied to your character...I've been pretty supportive of charging Cartel Coins for the Design Kiosk but this is a little messed up I think.
  18. I'm really kind of surprised that everyone who was complaining about being charged Cartel Coins to use the Designer Kiosk isn't on here complaining about the fact that they are also charging you additional Cartel Coins to unlock some of the new Hair Style/Color, Eye Color, and other customization features. Or am I the only one that's picked up on the fact that that is what they are doing? Kind of like charging you one time for a new Font packet for your computer and then charging you again, just a smaller fee, every time you use that font in a new document. Granted it's likely those unlocks will soon be available on the GTN, but it's still kind of annoying.
  19. I would think that item's already in our inventory that are bound to our character will automatically be added to the collections tab. I will say however that I haven't seen or heard this mentioned in any of the interviews for confirmation so I could be wrong. But I really hope I'm not. I would be very angry if they made me pay for all that stuff again on top of wanting Cartel Coins to unlock it for my whole account.
  20. I'm done arguing semantics. You don't live here so you have no authority to judge our government. I don't give two flips about the Roman Empire. One government's success or failure does not dictate the validity or success of another following a similar model. I'm not saying the USA is completely the shining beacon everyone makes it out to be. The way our forefather's obtained the land we live on and the way we treat the ancestors of the people that lived here before is nothing to be proud of. But even in SWTOR the "Republic" is good, and the "Empire" is bad. This is why people take offense to being called an Empire. If the United States is such a big horrible place that warrants comparison to the Roman Empire, why are so many waiting in line to live here?
  21. If you're going to interpret it that widely than EVERY country is an empire. If you think there is any body of our government that has the ability to make decisions at whim you don't understand our political structure at all. No branch of our government can do anything without the cooperation of the others. Both the Senate and House have to agree, then our President has to agree, and if he doesn't he sends it back to Congress, if they can muster enough votes to override his veto THEN it becomes law...but that's not necessarily the end because if we the people disagree and take it to the courts, the courts can rule the law unconstitutional and void it. I don't see how that is Supreme Authority. It takes forever to get anything accomplished.
  22. Care to tell me who in my country fits the definition of Supreme Authority? supreme authority Web definitions arbiter: someone with the power to settle matters at will; "she was the final arbiter on all matters of fashion". wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn if not that first bullet can't apply, as I've already explained
  23. USA doesn't fit any of those definitions in totality. There is no one person in our government with supreme power. Yes our President has veto power but that can be overruled by a super majority of congress. We have large commercial organizations in our country but that is not our government. We have no supreme power over other countries exercised by a single authority or otherwise, and the last bullet point again references absolute power which is again not the case in the USA. Not quite sure what the point of posting that was.
