    And my personal favorite, Tatooine Canyon has a huge *** bowl in the middle.

  2. Sniper buff was totally unneeded. Since they're taking away the KD in Scrapper, only class we need to worry about is Assassins. Here's what my estimated rotation in 2.7 in my Engi after getting hit by a Scrapper:

     

    Scrapper opens and only roots me (lol), I Cover Pulse, Inter Probe, EP, Crit Snipe, he gets to me, I pop God Mode Evasion, Plasma Probe so he gets stunned, Leg Shot, Hot Pursuit Quick Shots as I walk away, dibble dabble around with Entrench and Ambush and other stuff, I win.

     

    Great, the Entrench Buff with Engi being able to pop two in a row, can still run aroud, bloody hell people are gonna QQ Engi is OP. Leave it alone dammit BW! And hey, how about some Watchman love?

  3. I'm mad as well. I already swapped my Sorc from heals to Madness since they're getting the love. Still nothing for Mercs/Mandos. And it seems like BioWare keeps pissing in my Scoundrels Cheerios and pouring sugar into my Sniper's.
  4. Just make them not work in FP's and OPs so we can still get them to proc during dailies and stuff.

     

    That or make them only proc while the "Trauma" debuff is on, which only appears during PvP. That way it still works when you get jumped doing dailies, but PvE Care Bears don't QQ that our Relics are still better because they proc during normal PvE.

  5. He wont, the only thing i sell on the GTN is the Seismic Grenades and i sell those at 20k for a stack of 10. If they get undercut it doesnt bother me...WHY? let me explain... V-1's only need 2 Bronzium, 2 Plasoid, and 2 Influx... a stack of 99 Bronz goes for 8k on my server, a stack of 99 plastoid goes for 14k, and a stack of 99 flux goes for 990 credits... pretty cheap right? I buy enough to craft roughly 300 grenades and i sell them all for 20k making roughly (with comission taken out) 600k if i sell them all and i only have to spend 150k to get enough mats to re-sell them all again... If i dont do that i make plenty of money doing dailies...500k cycliing through every alt While crafting...

     

    Then you're going to be VERY happy here. Bronzium is 4k per stack, bought a stack of plastoid the other day for 1,200, and stack of flux for 1k. And nades sell for 20k here as well. Not sure how it works on your server, but here, sell on Tues-Thurs, buy on weekend.

  6. Just joined the server today, I'm glad theyve dropped in price... On my old server they go for 67-98k for 1 and 200k for 2...its waaaaaaaay over priced there and every Purple augment is 90k or higher... So i applaud the guy that undercut you to hell and making it easier for us new people with no established credit buy the MK-9 kits and augments.

     

    Cool. Let me know how you feel when you decide to make some money on this server and his prices have screwed you over. Got lucky yesterday and managed to sell 7 kits for 62k. Fingers crossed this thing clears up. Yes I understand it's expensive, however at the same time it's really easy to A) craft your own or B) make the money to buy them. The only way you're making money off these is from impatient people or noobs who don't know how.

  7. Well it depends. Powertech has AP spec that is a lot of moving around, as is Pyro PT. But if you like the dual blasters then do Pyro Merc. Not a lot of casting, most I really do is an Unload, and if that doesn't proc the free Rail Shot, I gotta spam Power Shot. But usually Unload does it. So basically 3 seconds of casting every 15 seconds or so. PT is more mobile, but if you like the dual blasters, Pyro Merc will do just fine.
  8. No, we dont need more survivability. Our largest PvP related weakness is reliance on cast/channel and too few ways to counter interrupts.

     

    This. I have no problems staying alive....except for when my heals are interrupted. And on my DPS I've got no issues. Just came out of a VS on my Pyro Merc where I survived a great many times (4 I believe) against at least 3 players, including a scrapper, until the doors opened. A good 30 seconds. Hydraulic Overrides is an amazing tool, I suggest using it more.

  9. IMO it is exploiting the poorly designed mechanics of Bolster to one's own advantage.

     

    That said, if you have a fresh 55 then you can use blue 45s to get to a competitive level immediately so you can effectively acquire real PvP gear.

     

    Its a personal decision. The devs dont care, and most players are doing it. Tho that doesnt make it any less of an exploit.

     

    My feelings exactly, I won't do it, it's messing up PvP IMO. Though I will do it on my next fresh 55 for the headstart until I get full Conq. I also feel all the little tweaking and everything for this certain mod in this certain place is a lot of effort for a not-so-great bonus to stats. Rather just run around in full PvP. Imma one-stop shopping kind of guy.

  10. And I'm going to guess that it costs about 50k to 60k to get all the materials needed to make the necessary items that need to be RE'd to get the 10 augment components. So at those prices, and 46k especially, there would appear to be no profit or very little profit. The only real way to profit would be if a companion happens to crit and make two which really isn't reliable.

     

    It would be more productive to just focus on dailies.

     

    You are correct, I normally run 5 companions on missions while I run dailies/PvP, and I make over double the money of just dailies.

     

    If you don't have a Cybertech to get Kit parts cheap, and have to craft gear/weapons which cost 2/4/6 mats, it costs roughly 44k, not to mention missions fails, and the Time needed for missions, then crafting the gear, then the kits. And the GTN scrapes a little off the top. It's a side business, and someone tanked it.

Not sure what the price is at...But I do know it is quite costly and time consuming to craft augmentation kits due to need 10 augmentation components which require one to first make gear then RE it. So, if mister Vanguard is undercutting by 25k it's very possible he/she isn't getting any profit at all. He/she could very well be selling them for less than what it costs to make them.

     

    Someone will probably end up undercutting mister VG...Then more undercutting to the point where it's no longer profitable to make augmentation kits. If it's not profitable, no one will bother making them.

     

    Don't like the price, make your own.

     

    This is exactly how it started. This guy crafted them on his main probably, then mailed them to his level 19 VG alt, to sell for 55k. People undercut and I saw them a low as 46k at one point. This was 4 days ago, and they're still only 52k as of 3 hours ago:

    that way. I wouldn't exactly call dropping the price by 25k as a favor, especially when that then lowers the price of augments.

  13. For dropping MK-9 kit prices into oblivion. I know who you are, you shall remain nameless for the purpose of this thread, but I do not like you. You've crashed this servers economy very nicely. It's not terrifying, but I am still unhappy, especially with my poor Slicing RNG this week, I'm running low on funds, and you're not helping. That is all, tell me what you guys think.
  14. Nah. Eng is good. You'll figure it out as you keep with it. Felt clunky at first but it plays so awesome once you realize all the utility you have and how to make it flow. And I mean I really do not want any more buffs. Hell no. I like it where slinger is at right now and it may be too much when other classes get knocked down.

     

    Seriously. If its anything the devs are on when you consider the non-AOE nerfs is they are really listening to whiners. As is, I am not thrilled with the smasher nerf because I can see them coming and I fear Carnage marauders more. And in a lot of ways, have always been more annoyed by vigelent specs also. Last thing I want is slingers to be the QQ target.

     

    I felt the same way about Vigilance before 2.4. I used to have a second set of gear for when I was bored and wanted a challenging DPS spec. But all the smashers got bored and wanted to try something else, so they tried Vigilance, realized it takes too much skill, and cried out for a buff. It didn't need it, just needed better players. Same how you feel with Engi, not enough good players. I'll admit, since I'm new it does feel clunky. Btw here's one for you, met a Slinger last night (Pot5) who had Shrap Bomb, Shock Charge, Scatter Bombs, and Trickshot. I found it rather interesting.

  15. They overdid it with the healing nerf. Op healers are now a casting class and will be easy to shut down. They broke the class in 2.0 with unlimited energy and grant of 2 tactical advantage when exiting stealth, it simply wasn't needed. But taking away the respamming of surgical probe under 30% would have been manageable if you had TA built up, but to place a 6 second CD on it? That makes it a casting class no different from mercs or sorcs and you will see a mass exodus from the class because sorcs and mercs can put up better numbers.. I'm transferring my sniper over to Pot5 and will start playing that after 2.7. In my opinion what you will see is TTK really go down very fast and healers may even be a liability without a tank, snipers are going to be teeing off on them.

     

    Is it a conspiracy? Yes I believe communists have infiltrated EA and they are trying to make all healers identical casting classes.

     

    This sounds like a huge success. Why should 1 healing class be better than the others, all because it has a instaheals. That doesn't sound fair at all. This nerf brings them down to reality with other healers and actually requires skill now to win a WZ.

  16. Please don't say that, because they will listen. All it takes is for a few threads to complain about assassins being OP, and they will have the same fate as operatives. Spike is an indispensable ability for assassins because they are a stealth class and it's how a stealth class should be. When stealth classes are messed up look what happens. They get ground into the dirt time and again like operatives, to the point where there's no point to play one since you can't even kill your target.

     

    So what you're saying is that Ops should take one for the team. All's good if they lose their knockdown, and huge part of their rotation I might add, but lord help us all if assassins lost theirs too. I mean, it's only fair that the one other stealth class in the game with the best burst get to keep theirs, while we flop around like fish out of water, and the pelicans are beginning to notice. No. If we lose our knockdown, then Assassins should lose theirs, especially since theirs allows 2 attacks rather than the operative's 1.

  17. I pretty much switched to lethality/sab around when 2.0 hit. As you see more tanks it seems MM doesn't seem as effective. Recently I have been more in love with sab. it efectively gives me a ranged stun that I can use when I am ready to burst a healer I worked near 30% health. That alone is a beautiful thing.

     

    Not to mention kind of laughing when a MM sniper hits me with the smoke can knocking me out of cover, where I then see him lining up that ambush only to hit evasion and LOL as it really didn't bother me to be out of cover. Thing is, I can do that to with a seismic and incendiary grenade and its going to be more painful.

     

    I am giving serious consideration to respeccing. Marksman just doesn't feel viable for anything, best thing we get is a lower CD on Leg Shot. The two other specs get plenty of slows.

  18. bleh. I think its time you try the other 2 trees.

     

    I tried Lethality, and absolutely despise it, and I have a 32 Saboteur/Engineering Gunslinger. Although I may still switch, feels like I'm not really hitting as hard as I used to. My Scrapper has almost as much survivability (not that it's a lot) and does better sustained burst for me.

  19. You wouldn't be firing into their force barrier would you? Not the bubble, the 10sec total immunity.

    Cuz that blocks all damage.

     

    Haha no I'm positive Force Barrier is not activated, I've increased the size of their cast bars to know who's healing, and when the do things such as that. Could just be a bad week for my Sniper /shrug
