  1. Do we know? I'd hate for the tacticals I've already got to stop working once I get to level 80 or something. I've gotten especially attached to Elemental Convection on my sorc main. It's not BIS, but it's incredibly FUN to spam Chain Lightning, and also very useful to clearing trash mobs on dailies besides.
  2. If it makes a difference to you, I have no problem with players, who do challenging content or PvP, getting access to high-tier gear quicker than those who, like me, would prefer the slower road of solo content. I just want to be able to get max-tier gear at all while still playing my way.
  3. If I understand right, this system will mean that solo players (like me) will no longer be able to achieve max-tier gear, the way we could in 5.0 and 6.0. I hate this change. You can't tell us that we can play our way, and then punish us for doing so by capping what gear we can get. Sure, people who do challenging group content or PvP should be able to get max gear quicker, but the ability to get max-tier gear at all should not be restricted to just them. I'm a solo player, I enjoy doing heroics, daily areas, single-player missions, and so on. Please don't punish me for playing my way by capping my gear. And yes, I know max-tier gear is hardly required for that sort of content, but the better gear I get, the better and quicker I can do solo content. Even with planetary level caps, stats like Alacrity and Critical aren't capped, and then there's that special gear-based boost you get too.
  4. The change to make the effects of on-use Relics go away if the Relic is unequipped makes the rakghoul relics virtually useless. These relics are a major QoL feature that we earned by playing the event, and now you've taken it away from us. Keeping a stock of vaccines is just annoying; it takes up an inventory slot and costs credits to replenish; sure, it's not all that much in the long run, but it's a hassle, and one that doesn't make sense in a game that's added so many QoL features over the years. Please change this, allowing rakghoul relics' vaccine effects to persist after unequipping, or create an alternative, such as an infinitely reusable rak vaccine. Thanks.
  5. Thanks for the help. It was indeed in alerts. Can't believe I didn't think to check there, lol.
  6. I've played Onslaught numerous times now, but only on Empire side. I just finished playing it on the Republic side for the first time (on a Jedi Knight), and in the conversation with Kira and Scourge where they tell you about the "final, gruesome weapon of Tenebrae," Scourge adds at the end, "There is one final matter we should discuss. The sooner the better." The cutscene then ends, and the quest is complete. Cue The Task At Hand story update, which I also completed. But what is this final matter Scourge wants to discuss? That line isn't on impside. Was there a bug and I was supposed to get another conversation? I found Scourge both on Odessen and my ship, but he has nothing to say there. Anyone know what this is about?
  7. That is partly why I'm not following up with them any further, yes. Wow, am I really being this unclear? I'm not arguing against the default choices. I'm trying to find out what the default choice is. Aside from this being the first time I've had a bad experience with CS, you're saying I should quit a game I love over one relatively minor issue? Also, I know you didn't mean it this way, but comparing this to battered woman syndrome is extraordinarily insensitive to actual victims of domestic abuse.
  8. Yeah, I know Iokath isn't a saving point, but you have to do it in order to start the three flashpoints that end with Nathema Conspiracy. Point is, this toon jumped ahead, and I was under the impression that the default choice for a pub toon is all light side, and so Senya should be not be said to be dead by the Zakuul Knight Zera in the holo. He hasn't started JUS, if he had, the Nathema Conspiracy storyline wouldn't be available but would've been auto-completed.
  9. Now it seems like you're also missing my issue. No one else in this thread is missing it. I get they're busy. That's why I'm not escalating it any further and venting on here, because it's way too petty to keep escalating, and pointless anyway. But they provided an answer to a situation in KotFE Chapter 16 (trusting Senya's judgment) when I was asking about KotET Chapter 1 (killing Senya or not). The decision to kill Senya or not is not at all reflected in my character's companions tab, it stops at trusting Senya's judgment (KotFE Ch 16) and says nothing forward about her. And again, if it's not within their remit to answer my question, why not TELL me it's not within their remit, instead of going around in circles with me?
  10. If he couldn't tell me whether something's not a bug, why not tell me that he cannot tell me? I wasn't certain whether to trust his "change or revert decisions" line since he was sidestepping my main question entirely, and also the fact that this was not a decision I'd made at all, but a question about what the default was supposed to be.
  11. But IS it a bug? That's what I'm asking them, which they aren't answering, and that's the frustrating part. (And if it is, can they change the flag for that character?) And if it's beyond their remit to tell me, why not just TELL me that, instead of just answering a question I didn't even ask?
  12. I am extremely frustrated with Customer Service right now, as I contacted them in-game about a potential bug, and their reply, each time, ignored the question and gave a reply that had nothing to do with my question. I'm more frustrated with their terrible service more than the actual in-game issue now. I've filed tickets multiple times in the past about various issues, and the answers have always been satisfactory before. This is my one bad experience with them. Here follows the exchange. Am I not being clear about what I'm asking? I'm redacting the CS rep's name so as not to call anyone out, but it's the same name all three times and so I assume the same person. Please excuse any typos, as I had to type this out by hand, as copy&paste wasn't available. First, I wrote: The first reply from CS: As you can see, that does not answer my question whatsoever. I followed up with this: The Customer Service reply, with the same rep as before: I'm just aghast at this point. I know they're short-staffed, and I know they might not be able to fix the problem, but they're not even answering my question! Am I really being that unclear about it? I tried once more: And the response, from the same rep: I am completely bamboozled at this point. He keeps insisting on talking about the default decision for KotFE Chapter 16, when that's not even what I'm talking about. I know I can summon Senya from companion terminal, that's not my issue. I want to know what the story impact is, and whether this is a bug. Am I really being so unclear? Ugh! Like I said I'm way more frustrated by Customer Service at this point than the actual ingame issue!!!! What can I do now? It seems like the same guy takes my tickets, and he is absolutely not listening to what I'm asking. I feel extremely petty trying to persist in this any further, but he's completely missing my issue.
  13. She is unavailable as a companion, and her contact window says that she was grateful I let her take Arcann with her. So until I start Jedi Under Siege, it seems to treat me as if I've done KotFE but not KotET, in terms of what the information in the contact window says (which is why Senya wouldn't be available). For instance, Koth is available as a companion and notes that he's grateful I chose him over Senya to meet people, and that I saved the Spire, and all that.
  14. That's what I thought! Wonder why that's glitching for my character in Nathema then
  15. So I have a light-side Jedi Sentinel that I skipped KotFE and KotET on, jumping to the Forgotten World to do the Traitor story-arc. I was under the impression that light-side choices were default for pub toons. However, in the story prologue for the Nathema Conspiracy (on the Abandoned/Imperial Listening Post), there's a hologram of the Zakuul Knight Zera (spelling?) saying that she wants revenge on the Outlander for killing Senya. Is this a glitch, or is the default choice for Republic players actually to kill Senya? o.0
  16. I'd hope that the daily objectives for rampages in daily areas that aren't Onderon, Ossus, or Mek-Sha remain available to level 75 players too. I am definitely glad that the weekly objectives for those other daily areas remain, and that furthermore they are daily objectives! Also, I'm uncertain how to feel about the FP objectives requiring a guild group. Some guilds are small, making this hard to achieve, which again favors larger guilds substantially with conquest, and it's not as if they don't already have an advantage.
  17. As IzumiCurtis said, you used to be able to do them once per day instead of once per character. They were almost "hidden" in terms of being dailies, because they never had the [DAILY] tag on them like other dailies do. I will also add that, even with the Exploratory Missions checkbox in Map on, one or two missions (at least impside) aren't accessible anymore at all, not even once per character. (As I've noted on more than one brand new character reaching Ilum.)
  18. I'm glad to see more daily content. But now this makes me wonder if there is hope for what I really want: the return of Ilum dailies! I love dailies, they're my primary gameplay, and Ilum particularly is a planet I find beautiful and relaxing in atmosphere. It never made sense to remove them from the game, and there was never any acknowledgement from the devs (at least on Dev Tracker), much less an explanation as to why.
  19. So clearly no one cares about this particular change except me, which makes sense since I'm a niche player. But Convulsing Currents' new effect. The notes aren't clear: is that in addition to the extra damage from Shock while Crushing Darkness is active, or instead of it? My preferred playstyle is dailies, hence why I say I'm a niche player. I don't use Polarity Shift very often as there's ont really a need, and I'm too lazy to keep track of its CD and which mobs are worth using it on. So I like the extra Shock damage, as minor as it is, lol. But anyway, if someone on PTS, or a dev, can clarify whether the change is in addition to the Shock buff or instead of it, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
  20. My understanding is that, while this was happening before, it was only happening to people who used a terminal to designate a different "entry" point for their SHs (which would admittedly be quite annoying). I have never done that on any character though.
  21. 6.1 comes with an unexpected change. Previously, when one is in a SH, and transports directly to another SH, and then back, the game remembers you location in the SH you were in before. (This is provided you didn't log out and that you didn't go to any non-SH location in the interim.) It was a minor but much appreciated convenience. The game no longer remembers this, which is particularly irritating when I'm hopping between my SHs to select which of my already-placed decos in older SHs might look better in Alderaan. At least the game remembers your SH location when you log out and back in.... unless you're in the Alderaan SH. Is this a bug or an intended change? Either way, if it's feasible, I would like it fixed/reverted, please. It's a minor thing and I guess low-priority, but still annoying. Thanks.
  22. This is something that keeps happening, and I don't know why. The latest egregious example being the Onderon Guardian set, which is otherwise very cool, but is pretty much ruined by not being able to dye the brown part. (I'm really glad my policy is to preview dyes on a set before buying, otherwise I would have been steamed by the waste of credits and/or CCs.) I could stomach this if it was a small area, but in some armors, such as the Onderon Guardian set, it's a huge and obvious part that's brown. Why is this even done so much? I can't help but wonder. Brown pretty much only works for a Jedi type character, but the armor, sans the brown, would work great for a Sith too (I main a Sith). Black on the other hand is snazzier and goes with any color, faction, or alignment; brown, not so much. I'd prefer for there to stop being so many huge undyeable areas on armors at all, but undyeable brown areas are by far the worst offenders imho. Thanks.
  23. LMAO Omg, I'm an idiot. I forgot there were different difficulty settings, and I just checked, and for some reason it was set to Vet difficulty. No idea why, I only do Story difficulty. Fixing it now, presumably that will solve the issue. Thanks!
  24. Decided to do KotET Ch 2: Run for the Shadows, where you and Acina team up. After the shuttle crash near the beginning, the first objective is to "defeat the jungle beasts" in the clearing. It starts out as an elite and a strong, and a few others are summoned a few seconds after the fight starts. I've played through this chapter several times in the past (all before Onslaught). Never had any trouble. Yet I was slaughtered in 5 seconds. Puzzled, I tried again. Slaughtered again. Tried a third time, this time popping Unity, Heroic Moment, and doing DCDs as needed. Lasted maybe 15 seconds. That's when I noticed: the attack that finished me off dealth 30,000 damage. For reference, my toon has 102,000 damage. If it's doing attacks like that, something is overtuned here, and I imagine it happened with 6.0 It's a level 70 toon, the mobs are level 70, he's in iRating 227 (low-end level 70 gear, but still plenty serviceable). I've played this toon for some time, I've run the chapter several times. Only now, trying this after Onslaught, am I encountering this apparently insurmountable difficulty. Is this sort of thing happening for anyone else? Whether in that specific scenario, or in other KotET chapters? (Not counting the walker parts.)
