  1. slicing is certainly not what is was in days long gone, but it is still very usefull to have and does make profit. If my understanding of 2.0 is correct, then slicing will get a sort of nerf again. Only two kind of the new high grad mats can be "produced" by sclicing, while bio and UT?? will have 4. Those mats will sell like hot cakes i think.
  2. Well i know that P2W is a general hot topic and viewed as no go by most. I would like to share my view on it and ask for your take on it. Let me point out one thing first. I am against any piece of gear or ability in a potential P2W section of the CM which would effect PVP. Here players have worked hard to acquire their skill and gear sets and should be able to enjoy the fruits of this hard work. I am a noob to MMO and swtor is the first one for me. I am in contact with several other noob players. They have mainly single player RPG background and some are quite old already. So they struggle with this game. The reasons are not really relevant, may it be lack of time, skill, whatever. They came over to play the storyline and do their own thing. The will not show up in PVP and not join guilds, because their schedule does not allow for this type of committment. Lets say now, those type of very casual players would like to buy something boosting their stats in PVE to make leveling faster and reduce grinding. I would not mind to put high stat armor or weapons (even near god mode stuff) up for sale in the CM, with one very clear restriction. If the PVP flag goes up or the player is joining any team for group content, the stat boost MUST be removed. By doing that, they could run through their storyline as fast as they desire or their time allows, without breaking the game mechanics for group play and PVP. What do you think here?
  3. Also have a look at GTN. Speeders dropped like hell from the cartel packs and they have those hypercrate things out now. Because lots of people bought those hoping for the big jackpot (white crystal, overlord throne type stuff), there are tons of speeders out there now and you can pick those up for as low as 4000 credits. They are adaptive speeders, better then from vendor. I have a speedrer collection now, not paid more then 8K for any.
  4. You can put it in any orange piece you have and take it out to make it RE able. You need to be cybertech 400 for 27 armoring. I guess you know already that it may take a lot of armorings to get the schematic. If i may guess you got to spend about 10 mill credits to get it. Of course if you are lucky it may only take 5 tries but it could be easy 20 or more. If you have maxed you companions affection and bought the engineering sensor for the ship droid the chances are better. Still its a gamble. I am assuming that you look for a sure money maker on GTN in the future by crafting those? You got to ask yourselfe the question on on how well will 27 armorings sell once 2.0 goes live and everybody will start leveling to 55. Will 27 armorings still be in high demand?
  5. after picking your advanced class, you can find the skill trainers on the fleet.
  6. Actually i do not think that i am good, i just started doing WZ for the first time and was looking for advise from people with some expirience here.
  7. Thx for the answer and no i am not trolling. This are my first steps in WZ and i was really surprised here.
  8. I run into a LVL 10 operative last WZ which i played with my LVL 17 PT. This guy had about 8K+ HP (close to 9000) and was unstoppable. He killed me several times during the course of the WZ. Anything i throwed at him had almost no effect on his healthbar. How can this be? At LVL 10 you have almost none of your abilities yet and shouln't you be at somewhere around 2000 HP more or less? Even if he is an alt and his "sugar daddy" send money to gear up, there are limits at LVL 10. This is the second time i faced a superman LVL 10, last time it was a sentinel (13K+ HP) who killed my LVL 36 sage with ease, again anything i throwed at him had no effect. What are those super powerfull LVL 10 players all about? Some cheats?
  9. Are the "expertise" enhancements craftable and can be learned?
  10. I do never quit, regardless how bad the situation is. Even if it is clear that the team will loose (and those teams usually do), i stick it out. I know that i still will get some medals and some XP and comms anyway, so it is still OK to wait till the end. But i would love to see more teams really play for a win, by going for the goal defending what they got and not running off leaving something unprotected. One can just dream:) Thx for the answers concerning PVP gear, so i will stay clear off it. I can make my mods already being LVL 400 cybertech
  11. Thx for your answers. I think the healing output i can produce is already a help to many players especially the lower LVL ones. A 40+ player is doing well enough in low LVL PVP anyway. Another question. Is it actual advisable to get the LVL 20/40 PVG gear sets, are they a real improvement in PVP? Right now i am just running around in my PVE gear. I am at the cap for WZ comms, so i would need to do something with them anyway.
  12. I am balanced spect. I am only LVL 32. But i could quickly respec for healing, but it still doesn't solve my problem with noone actually want my healings.
  13. Hi, here are my observations as noob healer in pre 50 WZ, i would like to have some advise. I play a balenced sage and almost always queue solo, with the intention to heal the team. But the random teams do not play in any coordinated fashion, meaning as soon they enter the WZ they will run in any direction to do whatever they do. I can now look at the map and follow into the direction which at least 2 or 3 took, hoping to do my job. But sometimes i just have to pick one (tank ?) and follow him. The enemy team however will often spot the healer and make him a priority target, since noone is protecting me i am as good as dead. Sometimes they put someone at the respawn gate and kill me right after i get out (quite frustrating). What are i am supposed to do in this kind of szenario? try to keep close to one team player and heal him? drop healing and go doing some DPS? go to one node and be ready to heal the defender (if there is any) go to the attackers and try to heal them? I really do not know the best strategy, any advise would help me here.
