My issue with the prequels was never the story, it was the writing and acting, It just wasn't great, and the original trilogy isn't exactly Citizen Kane, so it's not like the bar was super high, but Episode III was the only one to really capture the same feel as the original trilogy, from a quality perspective. I always loved the prequel story (midichlorians aside) and usually tell people that from an overview standpoint there was nothing wrong except the execution.

As someone who also works for a company that does subscription based service/software, I can say that states are passing laws that require out of state service providers to pay state taxes. We just had to start charging state tax on charges in certain states in the middle of Dec, so it's not something you would have seen before, but it's something you'll start to see more and more often.

And that seems like a great idea on paper. However, look at the threads with people talking about how the game isn't running smooth on their water cooled, over clocked super machines, could you imagine what would happen if they released a setting that they knew, ahead of time, would cause poor performance on even high end computers? it would be chaos, because everyone is always going to try to play on ultra settings, even if it causes performance issues, and then, they will most likely complain about poor programming choices that are causing the slowdown. Basically, the amount of people complaining about the lack of those textures, are probably not as large as the amount of people who would be complaining if the feature was in, and their performance was slow, so not including them was the better decision. Maybe not one I like, because i do love me some hi res textures, but still the better decision.

It's not saying that the companion is more important, it's saying that he's AS important, It's still a roll and there is still a chance he doesn't get the item. The sentiment is that gear that helps player 1 have a better gaming experience is just as important as gear that helps player 2 have a better experience, it doesn't matter if that gear is going to a companion or a player, both individuals have need of the item, and are, because of that need, rolling on the item.

Because if they were off on their approx. date by more than 30 seconds, everyone in existence would complain about how bioware lied to them and they sold their kids thinking they were going to get in 45 seconds ago, and they now have no kids and no early access.

I knew on the day that I pre-ordered that my early access would be based on when I put in my pre order code, this has not changed since July, when they started allowing people to pre order. Me and my friends all pre ordered within about an hour of each other on july 21st and were all in the first wave, but most of us worked today, so we're all spread out as far as levels, though it will probably level out eventually, or not, either way eventually we'll hit cap and play together. Also, they've explained why they're doing waves of staggered access, they've also explained why they're not letting people know when they're going to be in until they're actually in. If you don't feel like reading any of the information on why, I'll tell you. IF BW states that they're pretty sure that you'll be able to get into the game on Wed morning, and something happens, and you don't get in until wed afternoon, or even thursday morning, (or based on some people's complaints, there are people who would be upset if they got in tuesday afternoon instead of wed morning) you are now upset, so they've avoided that, because they aren't telling people ahead of time, they have tempered people's expectations and allowed themselves flexibility to adapt to the situation.
