  1. They could have made the story whole lot better than just hack n' slash. The Sith Warrior Class Quest has more substance than the Jedi Knight. It's like Bioware didn't know what to do after they did the Consular story. In addition, later refinement updates should include advance class path class stories so it actually fits the advance path instead of the class as a whole.
  2. /Signed, I would love to see a Droid class; 1. That has a Healing, Tank, and DPS tree like Treek. 2. All of its weapons are built in and are animated like the Cartel Market Weapons. 3. Advance Class Path - pure droid or cyborg 4. Pure droid = skills like the none force users, make the autocannon as the primary DPS weapon and make it truly hurt like other DPS weapons. 5. Cyborgs can use light sabers, blasters (dual handed light saber, off hand blaster for DPS), and force powers.
  3. He'll be back, disappearance without being atomized = still alive.
  4. The combination of both stories following the Dark Side = The Dark Side and how I view a Sith to be. Unfortunately, that can not be said about the Consular and Knight. While the Jedi Consular catches the essence of the Jedi, most, if not all the Jedi Knight fails to capture the essence. I hope Imperial Agent improves because it is not as Cloak and Dagger as I was expecting. However, definitely the Imperial Agent class story was definitely made for the Imperial Agent - Lethality Tree.
  5. /signed ... I signed the other one and I will sign this one... She should be made into a Sith Warrior companion to break this spirited mare and make Ashara more malleable for the inquisitor because frankly I would have made her hair stick up or stabbed her in the back for her insolence.
  6. Keep in mind, Zash was trying to preserve herself because she knows you are gaining power and everyone knows what happens when the Apprentice becomes powerful, the Apprentice replaces the master. In some cases, leaving Zash imprisoned in Khem maybe more of diabolic punishment for her than actually dispatching her to the next life. I mean think about it, her nice blonde haired body now looks like Khem, she has no privacy because Khem probably can hear her thoughts, she is always fighting for control over Khem, and you can drag her along on quests without having the control to resist you. However strategically, leaving Zash alive is not in your best interest. Just because she is fighting control today does not mean she will not have it tomorrow. So in the best interest of strategy, it is better the dispatch her into the force or next life, than to keep her around.
  7. /signed She would be great to break in more ways then one, mold into an apprentice, and maybe even a love interest. I love her passion ... ;-) Sith Inquisitor companion? No they just need to make Ashara more malleable to the Dark side or make Jaesa the Inquisitor's companion. Thana is definitely Sith Warrior companion material, she has way too much spirit for the Inquisitor to truly handle.
  8. 1. I agree, although there was some cool traditional Jedi moments, the overall story was like you stated, MEH. 2. Yeah I hated the whole Ashara Zavros conversion. I ended up not using her with my Sith Assassin for long and I MAY try to use her with my Sorceress. It is much better and more traditional Dark Side like with the Sith Warrior and Jaesa. 3. I am on the fence with Imperial Agent, i hope it becomes more Cloak and Dagger like.
  9. Once you enter another faction area, you will run into problems with the base guards and defenses. In addition, you are flagged for PvP so even if you do find someway to slip past the guards, you would have to deal with the other faction's PVP'ers which is what I did with one harassing Republic toon using my Sith Asssassin. Lastly and most importantly, since your class does not match the class requirements or quests, you will be blocked from entering the hanger.
  10. A lot of those names come from either unimaginative people or their name was already taken. It get's frustrating at times, when your 5th choice is denied because it was already taken. One of my names freed up after the person who used it left SWTOR and EA Bioware did some spring cleaning. Here is where my names were derived from; Lolth (DnD) - Common Spelling for the Demon Queen of Spiders, In the Drow dialect, it is Lloth. L'vixis (Star Trek) - Taken from Klingon because True Sith look like Klingon or vice versa for the diehards. Sagittarii (Greek) - Changed because the correct spelling of Sagittari was already taken. Aconia (Roman) - A Roman Female praenomen (aka First Name) Ralkoya (Cathar) - A rearranged Cathar suggested name. My original was already taken. Bererre (DnD) - Derived from Matron Baenre of Menzoberranzan since it was already taken - sigh.
  11. Star Wars is very Roman-Japanese so Shaolin does not really fit.
  12. I would imagine Jedi Knights to be very athletic and in shape. In fact, I bet it is along the lines of Krav Maga, Kyokushinkai, and Systema in intensity and cardio.
  13. I liked the Inquisitor Story as well as a Sorcerer(ess). In my opinion, it does not really fit the Sith Assassin. However, I feel the Sith Warrior is better and more Dark Side like.
  14. Most Sith are Lawful and Neutral Evil because you can not rule an Empire especially as large as the Empire with Chaos. This does not mean there will be psychopaths or even Lawful Neutral Sith (faithful to the Empire regardless of their (deep) personal views). However if you are too good, too naive, or too psychotic, I personally believe you will be brutally weeded out like the most psychotic of Roman Emperors.
  15. My favorite story quest lines are the Trooper (for "mostly" being like the real military), Jedi Consular as a Sage (the most true Jedi like), Sith Inquisitor as a female sorceress (another part of the Dark Side you do not see in the Sith Warrior quest line), and Sith Warrior (the most Dark Side like). I am not sure about the Imperial Agent since I am still in Chapter 1 but thus far, I expected more cloak and dagger and definitely designed more around the Operative than the Sniper. Others either started off great or bad, and ended either bad or good. Personally, I feel they should add in Advance Class Story quests because I felt really out of place playing my shadow in a class path built more around the Sage than the Shadow. I geared up Nadia and she can really lay out the hurt while my Sage heals her.
  16. Rumor has it either after Gree or some time in August for both. Although, confirmed August dates for Bounties.
  17. Like the above poster stated, making creds is a boring affair but this is how you can make creds; 1. Dailies especially Black Hole at 50+ 2. Crafting then selling your creations - Grenades for PvP, Augmentation Kits, Stims, and etc. 3. Sell your special mob drop treasure on GTN. 4. Sell unwanted Cartel Items, your junk maybe someone else's treasure. 5. If you have a good and well geared team, flashpoints, ops, and etc can be profitable especially on some special drops that do not instantly bind to you or your legacy. If not, those repair bills sometimes are not pretty so this is conditional.
  18. It could be but from experience, it was probably a group that determined he was being too thorough or not keeping up with their pace. And regardless, one wipe or break of AOE should not lead to a boot. Most high levels can afford more than a few wipes.
  19. Agreed, most of the problem comes from Elitist Cretins that don't amount to anything in real life and it takes a game to inflate their inadequate egos ... :-)
  20. It is for the "Star Wars" feel.
  21. If you are new to SWTOR, I recommend Juggs/Guards. If you have already been playing, Shadows/Assassins. Personally, like others, I find Shadows/Assassins to be more fun to play. For traditional Star Wars feel, definitely Juggs/Guards. As for Story lines, a Guardian story line is better than the Shadow story line because really, the Shadow should have it's own dedicated story line. The Consular story line is really designed around the Sage. HOWEVER, the Consular Story line as a Sage feels more Jedi like than the Jedi Knight story line for either advance class paths (Guard/Sent). So really depends on what Advance class path you choose in some story lines and of course, personal taste. On the dark side, Sith Warrior story line seems to be equal for both Advance Class paths (Jugg/Mara) and at least for Chapters 1 and 2. Heck, the Sith Warrior story line would be good for Assassins for the first two chapters. As for Inquisitor, definitely Sorceress is a better advance class to choose for the Story line experience only. And the Assassin, should have its own dedicated class story. Again, it is all by personal choice.
  22. My thoughts thus far; ==Light Side== 1. Consular - Either really. I play a male Sage and Female Shadow. 2. Knight - Either. I play a male Sent and a Female Guardian 3. Smuggler - I am going to say either because some here stated male but I played a female and it works very well. 4. Trooper - Definitely male. From real life military and gaming experience, a male Trooper is definitely the best experience. Although I could tell the game developers did not all serve in the military, but they were close enough. ==Dark Side== 1. Inquisitor - Definitely Female - reminds me of the Drow Priestesses from Menzoberranzan. Both my Sorceress and Assassin are female. 2. Sith Warrior - Either really - I am playing a female true Sith Warrior with Jaesa Willsaam as her apprentice, and truly they look and fight awesome together. 3. Agent - Personally, I think a male is better suited. At least, in chapter 1. I am not sure about after. I play a male operative and a female sniper, and both are still in Chapter 1. Personally, I think the sniper should have a dedicated class story instead of the Operative and Sniper being combined. And I can say the same for the other Advance Class paths as well. 4. Bounty Hunter - Not sure, only played a male and after the Grand Hunt is over, in my opinion, the class story becomes stale.
  23. I wholeheartedly agree with all of the above. I personally would prefer Skyrim over ESO.
  24. Currently, SWTOR is my favorite MMO and it could be better if the developers listened to us. But like most MMO companies and the current trend in customer no service, they rarely do. There isn't a perfect MMO out there, there is only a perfect MMO for you or one you can deal with. The next MMO I am looking at is Pathfinder Online and perhaps Fallout Online if ZeniMax Media ever gets off their rear to make it since they won the rights from Interplay which honestly probably would have never made it to release as well because the current CEO has no clue on how to run a gaming company. And, I could care less about Elder Scrolls Online and hated it when I beta tested it.
