  1. Hello peeps! We are currently looking for 1 Tank and 1 DPS/healer for some HM operations ( NIM will STRONGLY be considered). We currently do not have a set time for these Raids as we still have to fill these last couple roles and most of us are very flexible on when we can do this. If you are interested, I will post contact information below once I get to a couple details. 1) we are not JUST looking to fill roles in this team, we are open to doing multiple runs with more than 1 team. if you are interested IN GENERAL, please let us know your capability through clears, parses, ect. 2) please submit a DPS parse ( if you are a DPS) or the relevant information to us to better understand your capability ^-^. 3) even though these ops are nothing new, we are still looking for helpful people who are experienced in various difficulties to provide more experienced insight. we are interested in anyone on this server to raid with us, you do not necessarily have to take our guild tag, though we strongly approve of those who are willing. If interested, please Mail or Whisper "Preia" for more information or questions. Please note, all are welcome to group with us provided confidence in your capability is established...just like always really. thanks again !
  2. Selling just a Pub Guild with a Flagship: nothing Fancy! I do not include Decorations with this short post because I only care about treating this flagship as a new one. I do not expect 50m for this tag, I will accept any offer that I arbitrarily find fair...basically, I just want to get rid of this thing because because! Please submit all offers to "Arlinn kord" on pubside by Mail if you please! Thanks to anyone with an offer!
  3. like Blizzard, EA will get off its *** only when a significant population of players actually complain together and demand something changes. Just start the Riots and the Digital Masters of the Galaxy will send the Diglets they caught in their Grandmothers Toilet Via "Pokemon Go" to Eradicate the Galaxy of all the tyrannical Credit sellers. ( seriously though....its been a long time and they still havent done anything....sloppy sloppy)
  4. Hacking? HACKING?! wait wait, maybe if i say it in front of my computer screen in this voice i'll make better sense of this....HACKING?!?!?! It's a Myth. i've been in more warzones than i've ever cared to count and the last time i saw a legit speed hack was 3 years ago or more. i'm not going to claim arrogantly that they dont exist, because just like Santa Claus, they do. But the Moral of my short message to you, dear sir, is that saying something on Forums is Freytastic; but if you really want to be seen as Credible and not as some loon then provide proof along with your claim. Because sometimes, peoples idea of magic N' Hacks are just abilities, procs, or concepts that they reaaaaaly dont have much of an understanding about. Freyalise
  5. <Novum Exitium> is a Republic-based Guild opening it's doors for any interested player among the remaining community on the server. We are primarily a PVP guild accepting fellow pvpers on either faction with the following traits: 1. Regardless of present skill level, we seek players who want to hone their skill sets in either Ranked or Reg matches. We appreciate respectful players who seek betterment on their own initiative and will be afforded the appropriate environment. To put this bluntly, in my experience as a player, you are only as good as you want to be. with the right opportunity and environment, those who want to excel at anything they put their minds to will do so; Novum Exitium wishes to build the foundation and provide that stable environment. 2. Working as a Unit is a must: we seek players who have access to Mumble as that is our primary method of oral communication during our matches. As Respect is a requirement in most guilds, Maturity is a cornerstone requirement in our guild. If you are a pvper on either faction and are interested in being a part of this guild, you can kindly direct your queries to "Freyalise" who currently remains one of the more active officers. Just an F.Y.I, we are the Remnant of Dead Eagles without being beholden to the grudges and personal issues: If you feel you will not be accepted based on Prior experiences with either Tag, this will not affect nor inhibit your experience here. We are also interested in hosting PVE content as thats a genuine interest to all parties within this tag. We are currently looking for all interested players who might help lay that foundation and will help provide whats required for such a thing to flourish. Thank you for your Time! Freyalise, "Smack Talker, Skywalker"
  6. this is cute. he has to be ineffective in a Huttball match by *********** around and being good for two stuns and a predation and still the score was 4-4 at the end. I think it proves it really. You're "Everywhere" but where you probably should be. Useless mara, useless Sorc, and it makes me think what make you relevant to join up with DWBI? At the end of the day, you couldn't listen to the one thing I asked you to do: you couldn't keep me out of your head. now you and your salty bunch of "PVPers" resort to kill squads to prove a moot point. Thank you!
  7. i'm going to ignore the fact that Packs couldn't actually make a relevant comeback: it's sort of like his ability to heal in group-ranked. he's just going to complain when he gets trashed and blame it on a misclick and then call everyone else bad to deflect his inadequacy. Packs response is exactly what I've been pointing at. If Begeren Colony truly cared about evolving their methodology to augment their player base with capable people to handle certain content with a varied success, then why trash on tags that have proven capable of doing it on their own. Whether you like them or not, Dead Eagles proved they can take a player and promote their evolution through a proper environment and encouragement. When you talk ****, we laugh. When you petition to ban us, we become sarcastic. When you form a premade to queue against us, we trash you. According to packs, it takes no skill whatsoever to randomly group together and have the ability to force the opposition into " an uphill battle in which we always win". It takes skill to control the momentum in a match. Dead Eagles has that skill whether you like it or not. The difference between Dead Eagles and Exiles is the fact that Dead Eagles were decent from day 1 and we have three times the player base than Exiles. At the end of the day, this server has become a popularity contest to even be seen as skilled. it doesent matter how good you are or have proven to be. the minute someone doesent like you, youll get called Trash. go ahead and keep with the summits, in the back of your mind, I'm right. the person reading this right now has to deal with that world, they have to navigate that pollution to try and eek out 15 dollars worth of entertainment and satisfaction, but I'm merely the guy with one casual foot out the door just warning you. Take the advice from the only Pro player that contravened every social circle and guild for 4 years and build himself up to play at any level. GG Imps
  8. This, I found funny. they don't teach reading comprehension like they used to. I don't recruit for Dead Eagles, in fact, they don't make much of a point to do so. I love how an over-the-hill raider from an over-the-hill guild who went over the hill to other pastures would have such animosity and pent-up sarcasm towards Dead Eagles. Lets kill this irrelevant statement by proclaiming that its not likely Dead Eagles are getting rolled with our unmatched win-rate when they have support roles like myself that really make it hard for people like you to be effective at all. Tbh, and this I can safely say, is Dead Eagles has never lost against a Pub composition. we never will. You see, ineffective like yourself, could never actually be a part of a pug composition because you have to desperately hang on to your social circle to stay relevant. The Proof is the tag, friend, Dead Eagles are just the epitome of the proper pvper's way of evolution. people, just like you, who went on top of the hill by pandering to others, and went over it wont understand any proper environment. How could you understand, anything that isn't polluted with arrogance and tempered by defeating an AI in the days of yore couldn't understand something that alien. The Stacking healers jab could be aimed at the Imperial Faction with more force than it can at us. You see, even with half the composition being heals in a reg match, you just don't have the talent pool anymore. I think I can respect maybe....3 healers on that faction: the rest are inexperienced. oh, and let me add, I stayed on this " Orchestra" easily enough because, unlike you, I didn't complain and cry when I repeatedly die in Ranked matches because I misclicked Force Barrier( I actually never do that). we also are better sports than TKY when it comes to Group Ranked losses. ***, 2-2 and we're called bads, you guys need to work on actual strategy instead of running into the Dens and behind pillars and losing in under a minute at your worst. Thank you Etrokiz! you know, packs, every Dead Eagle loves you right now. From the moment we just randomly group into fours and just queue for regs, we're apparently running these masterful comps that force the opposition into an uphill battle? WHOA, its like you just said that we had the skill to form any comp and dominate! To direct the balance in any match and win! I really think that you need to understand that Winning is not losing. someone who never queues Regs ( Secret Alts not included) and gets steamrolled by us 7 days a week/24 hours a day would be the one to have this much animosity towards your betters ( getting in your head now). I understand that Krayt Supremacy has always idolized Dead Eagles because what we've done in a few months took you lot 4 years. I think that Death needs to step down and let Piny take over: you guys might actually be relevant one day! this is what happens when you let a 15 year old dictate to you, old timer, what to think and feel. (got in your head now) that's an interesting word choice coming from a guild with whom I've only seen only a handful of you in PVP matches. Oh that's right, you had to social network with your Neighborhood Friendly Ranked Farmer who immigrated illegally here from The Harbinger. You shouldn't speak of stuff something you clearly have no knowledge about. A word of advice though, I think you should not post your petty vendetta over the internet and expect it to be valid. What "Over The Hill Packs, The Krayt Supremacy's worst Sorcerer" thinks doesent become true just because you believe it. I think DWBI gave you too much of an Ego and that snowballed until you cant even tell your factions deluded reality from truth. it just shows that Dead Eagles is the greatest guild in the server and you need to model your behavior accordingly. (dude, you realize I said this just to **** with you and by the time you have a aneurysm and realize this, I win)
  9. WELL THEN! This is what happens when you don't properly Prune your forum threads. Now, I practically skimmed over pretty much everything. I got the working parts of the direction people were arguing: whether it was here, there, or usually nowhere. I'll just create sort of an update truth of the world for the wonderful Sheep and Shepherds of Begeren Colony. 1. Why Guild Summits Fail/ are a complete naïve joke. Lets be honest here, I don't need to argue this. I can sit back, drink my tea, queue with Dead Eagles when I come on and watch the world go by while the logic I present tonight takes its toll: But I'm going to anyway. From its inception, Guild Summits comprised of GM's and their notables to come onto a single TS and talk about what is bad about the server and what they can change to make it better. That was the first mistake. Guild masters are the direction and leadership for any given guild: they set up events, doll out arbitrary punishments, and make decisions that impact other people. Because of this, the mistakes and inadequacies they have fostered have caused these mistakes to flourish and become an ever-growing "problem" on this server. Yes, I know it sounds hard to believe, but you do reap what you sow. To have the people that caused these problems to occur and fester, come onto a TS channel and talk about all the inadequacies that they brought to fruition, and then try and change them is the biggest joke I've heard. These Guild masters, you know, the people that slap on a tag and act like they can take you to the promised land of Progression Raids and Group-ranked pvp have no clue what they are doing and don't give a flying **** about any of you. True, they make friends, just like any person who exhibits a Fake personality to gain friends over the Internet would. But Every GM on this server can pull the plug on that and talk crap about you, make the game stressful for you, and become so individualistic in their pursuits that anyone with an ounce of intelligence could manipulate that and sabotage it. It doesn't matter how many GSF Classrooms you set up, it doesn't matter how many /cjoins you make or BC embassies you Vomit onto Guild TS channels, your not going to win a Holy War against Individualism or narrow-minded greedy pursuits of respect, gear, or rating. As I said, continue to say, and have a plethora of Proof I could drag out of my broom closet, the only thing that will ever come out of Guild summits is the augmenting of social networking for player abuse or resourcing. 2. Begeren Colony didn't even want some of it to happen. Case in point. you people claimed to seek to evolve PVPers and the Quality of the matches. you wanted to reduce the amount of bads/carry-on bags and push to a new horizon of play! oh good for you BC! Then why is it that Dead Eagles, the republic powerhouse with an astounding win rate in pvp reg matches, has fostered so much disrespect? If you people honestly wanted to collectively improve upon this area, why hate the people who championed that progressive movement on a faction? Instead, Dead Eagles has had a series of stupid PVP tunnelers, Supposed Kill Squads, A petition to ban them from pvp ( are you lmaoing as much as I am?), and so much hate and disrespect that its only outmatched by the number of queue dodgers. ( Marksmanship lmao) Dead Eagles, I'm going to educate the Imperials here, actually take on new people who can show the capacity to be capable at pvping and help them get better. What you people have been tunneling are the results of peoples hardwork and dedication: the exact tenants you people arrogantly championed and subsequently abandoned. To disrespect that without any logic to it and create a series of Double Standards against them, which time and time again they laugh about it and steamroll, is funny and hypocritical. Now PVE, I don't give a damn about. you roll through an ops and farm for gear, bribe people for it, slap it on and eventually discard it. then, you just social network and find a raid, deal with their stupid BS and Gear whoring, and see if their performance is worth sticking around for. That's all it is, all it has been, and its just rinse and repeat. there is talent required, obviously, to produce relevant results in prog level content or whatever. Its old, its so transparent to promote the problems associated with the mentality of casuals and how it erodes the mindset people should have when trying to improve. vise versa with some differences. So overall, I feel I can break down every stupid and intelligent comment alike, deal with people like Stun and Taym and their idea of "logic intermixed with Immature trolling", and then deal with some Internet Spitfire ejaculating his opinion with a irrelevant understand of the game and its social autism, but hey...I got better things to do! (like sleeping!) Freyalise
  10. Biowares not going to just wake up one morning and go " oh chee mother****ers, lets take the only RP Server on the West Coast and just merge it with another!" 1. Only RP server on this side of the continent unless I totally derped right now. a small addition to this is the technical hypen adding PVE to this... but lets face the fact that we aren't doing as much progression content that justifies a addition like that. 2. Harbinger is hella populated. we cant merge a player base like ours with a massive one like Harbingers. 3. Merging a Roleplaying Server with Bastion? um. no. just no. this is assuming that we're merging with a server on our coast; which I don't think is assuming much. lets face it, just like Jedi Covenant, we have our ups and downs. Jedi Covenant is still around and so we will be as well.
  11. This is actually what I mentioned before. the pettiness of other people to post negative comments smearing others because they simply don't like what was said. Its a standard tactic for really specific people in this community to brand others as being Delusional, engaging in self-aggrandizement, and spend the bulk of their time attacking anything remotely controversial or bold regardless if its true or not. It's nothing more than a ignorant jab at a player without any legitimate facts or details to source their puns, insults, or sarcasm as anything relevant. All they do is further demean a process by which people express ideas and opinions. One of my hopes is that whatever comes out of these Guild Summits does not replicate the environment of the past. Oh and Zeph, I'm currently about 60 games in so far in the last couple months on my off-time. Ranked is hardly even mentioned anymore.
  12. I think that if you don't like something and how it's said, but you come off as equally offensive, that you engage in a hypocrisy of your own making. Its the scenario that you've become what you hate or act as you would despise, that the own worst enemy is yourself. that's actually a gamers curse. you play long enough to get good at the skill sets you've picked up and watch as the tiniest deviation to your attitude has connotations and gamer-styled puns placed upon them. I think someone said earlier in this thread that helping the server is such an abstract concept and we wont be able to find the solution easily or if at all. I can agree that helping this server is such an abstract concept with so many angles that we don't necessarily touch on, that finding an easy solution is not even remotely possible. what we're dealing with in trying to restore or help anything on this magnitude is, to an extent, our attempt to control and create standards for other people to follow. Dez mentioned difficulty in attempted to fit the reception he had within his TeamSpeak channel. it was a noble action to start this process and I think everyone can easily thank him for the thought and care of the motive behind the movement, but the subtle mistake of that elitist connotation behind who initially was allowed to be a part of that ( according to old forums) was the reason I created the thread. it serves as a cautious reminder of the damage that has been done in recent months and that if we are to create a new chapter in our server, it should be with reflecting on how abstract this is to change a community and a direction. I can start by saying its not done through talking simply on a forums. it's not done to calling each other "Delusional", "Egotistical", "Elitist", or anything else I don't care to quote. If people really came to help the server, petty little things like that need to be the first thing to stop. Out of how many guilds there are today, how many died due to the machinations of petty individuals who cared nothing more than to further their own agenda or sow chaos? And out of how many there are today, how many had chapters where people did cause that chaos and dealt with petty individuals who went on smear campaigns? if people truly want to change the course of what goes on now, attitude needs to change. now if someone here wants to give me a potshot and tell me to put action behind my words, I spend more time helping and giving advice to other people about navigating how horrible some of you treat other people than I do arguing with any of you on what needs to change. I, myself, feel more inclined to hunting down the truth of the matter and adapting to the nature of what needs to change to be in a better atmosphere than being bogged down the labor of dramatic upheavals and selfish agendas. However, I still get tempted to exposing the flaws of things that have great impacts, but not to demean the process but to change the direction and provide a more refined prospect by the end of it. Sometimes we don't always get what we want and the greater points and purposes behind the words get lost behind the glaring wall that some people just don't look past.
  13. Okay, I actually didn't expect so many comments! I personally wished I attended all three summits myself, but given the reception I had in coming back to the game, I thought it was wiser to simply watch the youtube recordings and get a feel of the reception of the summit; I also read forums obviously. Apologies in advance for a bad usage of quoting others, there is a massive amount of quotes I wanted to respond to. Before I respond by name to the people who responded, I want to express that PVP, RP, PVE, and GSF are all accessable content that we all deserve to participate in. I factor a servers health as the ability for all players to be able to access that content in a comfortable atmosphere if that is their choice and the ability to integrate within a community as per the environment of a typical MMO/MMORPG. @ (most likely Taym): As I said elsewhere, Hannith does more for the server's community with her giveaway events than any number of guild summits or self-styled "elephants." Giving things to people, which is what I see her do on fleet, is generous and a one-of-a-kind player that demonstrates the purest form of helping others and making it entertaining. To a basic extent, I would see that's the epitome of what players should strive for if they want to truly help the environment they engage in. Now im not exactly saying everyone should whip out their digitalized wallets and do the exact same thing, but I do intent to address that helping others in your community, without expecting reward, is a positive form of providing help ( not necessarily if the person shares your guild tag but it could also count). Giving things is not enough. the world keeps spinning no matter how many dyes, mounts, armor, and weapons she throws at players. One person is a start and she is always going to be that shining example. @ Someone who didn't drink their coffee: you sound not only delusional but your contention that progression raiding is paramount for a servers health is ridiculous, small minded, and discredits you from any charge of elitism you would like to throw at others. I never went into PVP because I would have been far more accusatory and hostile to some degree. I left that alone so I can sum up the full gravity of the situation there, but I only used PVE as a reference point, not as a full scope of depicting a meter of HP this server has. I don't touch RP because im no longer deeply in tune with the harmony that aspect of the same is in with guilds hosting it, and GSF I always seems to forget about. To say it discredits me from giving a basic definition of what elitism is potentially in this situation is tantamount to attacking me because you don't like what I said. keep it classy. If you want to help the community help new players. YES! YES! YES! Do it without an Agenda, do it because you care, it doesent matter if you think your better, do it all the same. its what made other communities a hell of a lot more alluring than this one right now. if anyone wants to take a jab and ask me to put my money where my mouth is, usually every day since I came back ive offered to help and support other people...pretty soon ill let them vouch for me if this scenario happens. @ Dez: Or even control what behaviors are allowed in their guilds. Most well organized guilds have a code of conduct spoken or typed out on the guilds website One of the points Zuhara made in one of the summits was that "people usually go into two camps in gaming casual and serious gamers". By teaching people who don't know what to to or haven't refined their technique are you not increasing the knowledgeable percentage of the population We all have to walk the elitism egotistical line carefully as to not bring the community down as a whole. I agree, we do have to walk that line very carefully, but imagine what its like being branded "Elitist" and "Egotistical" at a whim. Players that ive come across, who style themselves as very integrated in this environment, use this term to brand other people who walk out of that VERY blurry and grey line. I've been branded Elitist and Egotistical for about 2 years now and I spend half my time discrediting that claim. Half the time, what I said gets twisted out of proportion and the other half is usually a smear campaign by someone trying to get people to dislike me. People get petty and they do things like this, its not delusional to think it doesent actually happen to anyone. Now this "Two Camps" point is actually a really observant one and the reason why is its definitely two. the problem is when members in a serious/competitive camp look over as the "casual camp" and begin to think they are better than everyone in that camp or specific members. This mindset is so negative to the idea of a positive community that its laughable to me if anyone tries to make a defensive for how "being better than everyone else" is actually a good minset in restoring a proper community. Additionally, the idea that teaching players does not increase the knowledge base of the community seems VERY FALSE. Lets create an example, lets say there is 1 player whos very knowledgeable surrounded by 1000 ignorant players in this game. if this one player helped another increase his knowledge base, by what percentage does it increase this knowledge base when its 2 players surrounded by 999? MATH HOMEWORK. The first two things, im quoting you on Dez, is the nature of Harassment/Bullying. It happens. Its cruel, and it happens in Guilds with big player bases and those Hardcore Camp players who think they are better than everyone else. Sometimes people treat others like **** simply because they can. I quit the game at one point because that is all I saw in this server was people either getting treated like crap or treating others like crap. Now to the post bigger than mine filled with all my Ranting! PVP If your group has won multiple matches in a row, consider moving to ranked. There are better rewards and the skill is higher so its more of a challenge. Ranked is dead. I've seen it pop like once a week now. in July/August it used to pop a lot. if Group ranked is an exception, whoo-rah to the players who access that? "This will also greatly decrease the amount of animosity being expressed after warzones. " Ranked Animosity has less to do with Gear than Performance. Skill outranks performance. if you have less gear obviously you will do less than being at optimal gear levels, but the animosity ive seen stemmed from how skilled a player is with his/her chosen role. Many players who attempt to tank in Ranked do very poorly with not utilizing skill sets like Guard Swapping, Taunting, Ect. Overall, recognize you're staring at one facet of animosity that turns people off to the idea of solo or group ranked. Overall, a lot of the ideas are very solid ones and I personally will be looking forward to seeing the fruits these ideas bear. Thank you for compiling that!
  14. The most challenging goal I have right now on a blessed Wednesday morning is to appropriately follow-up with why I assert Guild Summits are Hypocritical in their presentation. When this Dezz'revas character decided to try and pull the community together, his idea fell into the same trap that so many people fell in over the past 3 years or so. The very idea of pulling a community together to eradicate "Elitism" (which is a term that so few appropriately understand in MMO's) and doing so by engaging in elitist gestures does indeed border on Hypocritical. 1 GM/ Proxy GM and a Second-in-Command do not constitute the full scope of the Server/Community. they represent like, at best inaccurately, 1% of the population ( I didn't do any math). 1% to dictate/decide/inform what the rest of the Server will do to Reform is Hypocritical and Elitist and I'm actually disappointed that I couldn't quote Dezz'revas directly bashing elitism and his desire to fully remove it. There's more than you and your guild out there. Identifying why so many are leaving is a great way to go about keeping players from leaving. Alienating players that enjoy these aspects of the game or implying they never belonged isn't productive. - Rollbacks Now lets go even further. The Idea that, at best, this small percentage of players can fully scope every angle of why the server is not in a desired spot is very foolish. If this small proportion of players easily grasped the full gravity of the situation, then this Guild Summit wouldn't have been required at all. This Idea, while noble, is not going to work. What will work is the undertones of Social Connections being forged by cliques with each other to restore the same status-quo that I argued loudly against for years and what ended up consequently putting the server in the situation that it is. The problem is actually something Zuhara says over and over but undertoned with something I discovered 35 days ago. Zuhara and I were the elephants in the room that fully realized the situation the server is in. People lack the desire to change, evolve, and progress unless pushed by internal desires and/or the external desires to fully integrate into a specific part of a community as per regulated by that portion of the community. People sabotage various relationships out of a petty and very arrogant desire to cause emotional upheaval and so Drama is ever rampant. Trolls, thriving on chaos, exasperate a certain degree of this upheaval. The problem remains, it was never fully about a group of people who manage to stomp every shred of resistance possible on a server and proclaim their own allegiances to a status-quo, it was about the Community lacking any sort of steel whatsoever to get better. this doesent apply to everyone, because the guilds that stand as a testament against this theory, have had a success rate with progression raiders ( or PVPers but Im not opening that can of worms right now) but guess what? they gone dude to Harbinger or wherever. So when you want change, DIY: Do it yourself. its not some magical tricks-of-the-trade that get passed along by word-of-mouth, its common sense. Stop being Egotistical, Take Criticism properly once in a while, stop turning your tongues brown every time a Rank farmer comes to town or to get a prog spot, and stop causing drama. Elitism isint the only place ive seen Egotism thrive in. Many, MANY, MANY guilds have the most deplorable people possible who think they get away with being ******s because they get to hide behind a computer screen. Overall, Victims get Victimized when they become Vulnerable to that exploitation. *in capitals for effect*
