  1. Thanks so much, I couldn't find one anywhere haha, legendary work
  2. Hey all, I've been scouring the internet for an easy way to get a Custom Vibroknife for Mako. I've run Black Talon a fair few times, but I was just wondering if anyone else knows of a Quest or something that might yield a Vibroknife as a reward or something? Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, haven't really used the Forums much Cheers in advance, Thebetts.
  3. Seriously? What level does the Staged Weekly on Makeb end up at? My group did the Heroics, because that's normally how we roll, not realising that there's additional content after the first lot So out of curiosity, what level does the Staged Weekly questline end on Makeb?
  4. The same thing has happened to me during Huttball on my Sorc, when I try to Extricate the Ball Carrier across the line, sometimes I have to smash the button two or three times before it goes. Quite annoying.
  5. Not really, I just needed to vent, Forums seemed to be the place to do it. I guess I was wrong to voice an opinion on the game, in a place where opinions are encouraged. Consider me brow beaten, and next time I have an opinion on the game, I'll just sit in my corner and keep it to myself.
  6. Yeah, I get it, I know WHY it happens, but that doesn't mean I have to be happy about it, this was just a rant, I wasn't looking to effect anything, I just wanted to groan about it.
  7. Honestly, I've never taken Mods and the like out of my gear, I generally just upgrade them. However, if it used to be more expensive than it currently is, then that is even MORE ridiculous, why does it cost anything in the first place? What part of the process of removing the mod from your gear would result in me losing Credits? I get that it's not going away, and I honestly don't care too much, I just wanted to have a little bit of a rant about something that I see as being completely nonsensical. EDIT: Not new at all, I've just never seen a need to change my gear up before this, I've been happy with the look of my gear, but I thought it might be nice to have a new look, I don't think that I should have to pay out my *** for that. I guess I'll just wait until 55 and get a new look with a set of Basic Gear or something.
  8. Okay, so I've been gearing my Toon using the same gear since about level 14, just continually upgrading the Armoring/Mods/Enhancements, each time just replacing the Item and deleting the one in it's place. I finally decided to change the looks of my gear today, and since all my modifications are around the level 61-63 I figured I'd just change them over to my new gear. Nope, not happening! Why the hell is it 8k just to take the stuff out of my Armour? Come on Bioware/EA, get your act together, I shouldn't have to pay 24-30k per piece in order to change my look. Does anyone else think that this is just plain stupid? I get that this has always been the case, but honestly, 8k is freaking ridiculous. Anyway, rant over, just needed to vent about this nonsense.
  9. Ah okay, cheers, good thing we kept our Coms, still sucks for people who might have used up theirs in preparation for getting the free level 50 gear though haha. EDIT: Yeah, a cap of 50 is kind of ridiculous considering how often they drop, I'm still at 100/50, and I've probably picked up at least 25 extra haha.
  10. When I hit 50, I got the quest that ended up giving me 99 Tionese Crystals or Commendations (Can't remember which, it's been a while). My mate hit 50 this afternoon, but the quest seems to be nowhere to be found. Did they take this bonus (and the full PvP set as well) out of the game with the Expansion? Or are we looking in the wrong place? Cheers for any info.
  11. As in the top three Bosses in the Weekly list? Or is there a specific boss called Tip 3 that isn't on the list?
  12. Hey all, just wondering which of the World Bosses are possible to beat with a three man team (Healer, Tank and Damage)? If anyone can give me some info, that would be great Trying to find Three so we can knock out the Priority Targets quest Cheers, Thebetts
  13. Yep, just got hit with 3 DCs in about 20 minutes, and my Mate couldn't even get on the bloody server. Must be issues with the patch, because it hadn't done it to me before it went live.
  14. I re-applied mine two weeks ago, and I've had no problems. Hoping that fiasco a while back was just a one-time thing
  15. I tend to look mostly at my players as other people whose fate I am in control of (I guess I have some sort of Atheistic God Complex or something, maybe I should get that checked out XD), and since the vast majority of people I know and interact with on a daily basis are female, I'm more comfortable dealing with Female characters than Male characters. I also tend to think MOST women are slightly more realistic and natural when performing as voice actors in video games, and EA/Bioware have always had a pretty good history of picking female voice actors who have quite pleasant voices. I think I'm in the minority there, though, I get the feeling that most players who play female characters simply play them because it's more aesthetically pleasing for them to have a female character on the screen (When I play on my Male toons, I tend to use First Person instead of Third, because I tend to immerse myself into my character, and relate with them easier that way.) Disregard all that, I'm probably just a whack-job who takes his games a little too seriously XD.
  16. Healer - Mako (Gonna have to give my vote to her, she's just so darn adorable) Melee Tank - Khem Val (Seriously, Khem's a beast, literally and figuratively, and some of his dry one liners have almost caused tears of laughter) Melee DPS - Tough one, as I don't really use any... I guess I'd go with Ashara Zavros, but even that's a toss up because I hate how hard it is to get Affection with her on a Female Inquisitor -.- Ranged Tank - Blizz (What can I say, I'm a sucker for a Jawa who can blow stuff right the hell up) Ranged DPS - HK-51 (How can you not love his complete and utter lack of 'expletives' given?) (Also, anyone but Gault, I freaking HATE THAT GUY...) You're already dead, just lie down! - HK-51.
  17. Thanks heaps for that info, I'll probably still not risk it, but at least I know now what would happen if I do decide to try it out. Cheers again.
  18. Not risking it definitely sounds like the way to go, I don't want to have to regain all those bloody levels again haha, cheers mate.
  19. Okay, I'm a Dalborran, have been since I started playing. I've built a fair core of decent toons up from the ground under my Legacy Name. Since the Dalborra Server is merging with the Harbinger Server, I decided to make a character on Harbinger to test the Pros and Cons of playing there (Haven't found any Cons, by the way, besides an almost imperceivable extra amount of lag). As these things tend to happen, I've been enjoying my new character immensely, and he's currently sitting at level 12. Unfortunately, I've been too afraid to give him a Legacy Name (in order to unlock the Perks that comes with said Legacy), because I've been concerned about the consequences of what will happen when the servers merge, and my Characters (who are already Legacied) join my current newb. So, my question is this: What will happen if I give this new toon a legacy name? Will it mess anything up when the servers are merged? Will I simply have to change one of the Legacies, or will it randomly decide which one to use, and just delete all history of the one it deems unworthy? Will it cause a chain of events, so disastrous, that SWTOR life as we know it will cease to exist in the blink of an eye? Will it tear open a hole in the fabric of space time, transforming all existence into an eternity in purgatory, playing Dungeons and Dragons with Gary Gygax for the next Quadrillion Years? But seriously, does anyone know what will happen if I create a Legacy Name before the merger? Any helpful answers are appreciated. Thebetts.
  20. I PvP very regularly, and whilst I wouldn't consider myself a hardcore PvP enthusiast (you won't ever catch me licking boots to try and get into a PvP guild), I definitely get competitive, and the Latency issues between the two servers is still almost non-existent. After PvPing on BOTH servers (extensively on Dalborra, minimally on Harbinger), I've only noticed an almost infinitesimal difference in my performance. I'm not trying to claim that everyone has the same connection (I've got a terrible connection, so I guess that's why I thought most other people would be at, or similar to my latency), all I'm saying is, so far, the difference in performance in MY experience has been negligible. Obviously I'm some sort of insane wizard or something.
  21. aV If I can manage to consistently sit on 120-140ms, on my crappy ADSL2+ in the middle of nowhere while my brother is streaming things non-stop on Youtube, then I apologise for having some sort of magical wizardly internet... I just assumed people closer to an Exchange point, who don't have a constant percentage of their speed being pulled away might possibly be able to sit at around the same latency. I'm hardly being a 'sheep' by wanting a Super APAC Server, yet being willing to accept that whatever happens, happens... At the end of the day, I pay to play the game, and I enjoy this game enough that it honestly doesn't stress me if I have to sacrifice a slight amount of Latency in order to not have to wait two hours for a Flashpoint... Again, I completely and whole-heartedly support a Super APAC Server, it would be freaking fantastic, and hopefully, by enough of us protesting, we might be able to make that dream a reality. However, I for one, am not simply going to up and quit just because something didn't go my way. Hell, if I quit every time something happened that I didn't like, I'd probably be the worlds first intentional Kindergarten Dropout...
  22. Just before anyone jumps down my throat as well, I'm not saying that I support this merge, and I'm also not saying that I support how the CS has dealt with the issue. Ideally, I would LOVE a Super APAC Server. I'm just saying, that the situation is way more manageable than most people seem to believe.
  23. If you guys want to complain about latency, I challenge you to go roll a toon on Harbinger and play for an hour, you'll notice that your latency sits at around 120-140, and if you notice any difference, then kudos to you, because I haven't noticed anything even mildly game disrupting. If you have/do, and you still have problems, then yeah, feel free to complain, however, I'm in a ruralish area of Queensland, in Australia, and I am having absolutely no issues at all on the toon I rolled to test the server out. While I do, DEFINITELY agree, that they should scrap this whole merge, and just merge the three APAC servers instead, I'm going to be one of the Dalborran players who shelves my complaining and continues to enjoy the game. Call me an idiot, call me blind, call me whatever the hell you want, all I'm saying is, try it out before you just psyche out and rage-quit over an issue this small.
  24. I've found people to be nothing but helpful and friendly so far, but, upon saying that, I haven't made it to the Fleet yet, so I'll reserve my judgement of the community until I see the larger scale of Player Interactions. It won't make much of a difference to me, as I tend to ignore General Chat most of the time (unless I'm in a FP or particularly gruelling PvP match).
  25. I've run PvE/PvP on Dalborra with a 600ms connection before, and I managed to heal a few Hard Modes with my latency as such (room-mate was having, what I can only describe as a 4 hour whack-a-thon). So I'm not exactly talking out of my rear when I mention the latency (which, as I stated before, it sits pretty stable at 180-240ms, so it's not like it's ridiculous or anything). All I'm saying is, people need to give it a proper chance before getting all twisted up in the crotch area over a little bit of lag.
