  1. Lightning/Telekinetics are #18 and madness/balance are #16 at the moment for damage (based on forums and personal experience)? Since 3.0 I've dedicated so much time trying to beat the numbers of other classes with success. Now in 5.0 I'm about to start running my old school 1.x/2.x set bonus just for the buff to alacrity. The more hits I land the better. Why? because at this point, my favorite class/spec feels bloody useless. All I bring to a raid group is utility and nothing else. Don't get me wrong, I can probably run HM content just fine, but with all the nerfs laid down with 5.0, I can't imagine doing NiM at all.
  2. I've really loved running around in Storm Rider, dropping Grav Mines, and turning my foes into a wet paste. Can we get tank on tank pvp action?
  3. target switching is a pain. please fix.
  4. I put in a ticket for. No response as of yet. I tried running it this morning and found a new bit of strangeness. I got knocked off into the lava and didn't die. My comp died, so did the robot, but not me. I went for the simple answer of /stuck died and respawned in the lava.
  5. Bosses Jos and Valk keep resetting for me. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm trying to keep to the center of the platform, but it keeps happening. Am I doing something wrong? Very disappointed that I'm contemplating grinding out the next 3 levels via KDY instead of through the new content.
  6. Well, here I am. A level 55 sharpshooter still feeling like a pile of noob on occasion when it comes to this subject. I understand that if a piece of gear isn't right for me, my toon, not to click need on it. However, there's one thing I'm not sure of, materials. This may seem obvious to experienced players, but SWtOR is my first mmo. I do need the materials for my crewskills, but what do you click? I've been in many flash points, clicked need, and no one said anything, but tonight I was told that clicking need "is pretty low". I promptly went to apologized to the person saying as well that I didn't know, but before I could finish I was already on the guys ignore list. What do yo do here?
  7. I found this post really helpful. I started off playing as a Jedi Sentinel, and found game play very frustrating because I was always starting a new world at the very bottom of its level range. This lead to a lot of ending up dead and so much money wasted on repairs. After reading this I thought I would try what you suggested with a level one Smuggler. I was able to to catch up to my Sentinel ( level 35) in ten days and each planet is absolutely easy so far. Thanks for the helpful advice.
