I prefer this tbh... I'm getting gear I can break down into tier 9 mats. I'm making more credits by selling everything else. Also I feel like this opens up gear for "looks" that drops at lower levels to be sold by new and low level players at higher prices. To be clear I am not suggesting people price gouge said items. Just saying that there is more potential for early income for some of those rarer drops.

It's a shame though. I can't be the only one who thinks holiday events are fun in mmo's. And the Rakghoul virus event was not very interesting I agree. But it was something!

Apologies ahead of time if a post like this has already been put up. I was looking and did not see it. Are there ever going to be any holiday events? One of the things I love about many mmo games is the Holiday Event. You take a break from the usual and so some silly things to get some unique gear, items w/e. And please do not say life day. Shouldn't have to pay money to celebrate a holiday event. Don't get me wrong. I get they want to make their money, but I'm a subscriber. Give us something fun and festive.. Please. Some cool legacy bound holiday stuff.... Something that does not involve the cartel market. I honestly don't care if you guys were to make holiday events subscriber exclusive. And then sell unlocks for non sub..

Just coming back to Game. Was moved onto Shadowlands server. Could use a good guild. Semi casual in that mostly all I do is pvp. Leveling a few alternate characters atm. But my main is a Sorc dps.

If you do not have any interest in the event.. Simple solution. Avoid it. Most of the people that want to do it have set specific spots to infect another. So just stay away from there. Even on the planet it's centered around there are mostly specific places involved in the quest. Again.. Avoid them. And if you get infected it should happen rarely.. Deal with it and stop crying. Majority of players are enjoying it. And that is all... On another note. The reason I started looking at this post was for the times of event. I know there will be maint tonight. I'm guessing it will involve the event.
