Title: Operation Innocent Twilight AFTER-ACTION REPORT Legal Team(s): Aurek Members: Acklay, Vine-Cat Mission Status: Accomplished Summary: Legal Team Aurek successfully disproved all charges against Vine-cat. However initial defense strategy was abandoned half way through the trial as new charges were brought up by the military tribunal. The Prosecution were relentless in their case however the evidence favoured the defense in both charges of "War Crimes" and "Espionage". Unfortunately, repercussions were immediately felt following the "not guilty" verdict as the C.I.A. was warned to never conduct espionage operations again within Republic space or face future legal action. Suffice to say, we will need to operate more carefully in the future, dually to avoid provoking the ire of the Republic as well as getting ourselves in legal binds such as these in the first place. Once more the organization known as the Seelund Trading Co. had proved themselves to be of a great help by testifying in the Defense's favor. Time and time again they have come to our aid, may we not take this for granted. Follow-up: After the success of the trial Vine-Cat took some administrative leave in order to attend to some personal business, having Acklay extend their temporary duties for another two weeks.
