  1. I love that SWTOR is an MMORPG. I play for endgame, operations mainly. Levelling can be fun but generally, I just want to get it done as fast as possible so I can start the endgame grind for set bonus gear and have more characters to run raids. Having 12xp would not make my experience less MMO, in fact the levelling is already a pretty much single player experience for me - when i get to 60, thats when the MMO starts! Levelling is already just about class missions, side quests mostly single players, with the exception of spamming KDY during events I guess. In my experience, less time levelling will mean i spend more time doing the multiplayer level 60 content. 12xp will increase my and others' involvement in the MMO part of the game.
  2. It is tough to make credits when you have only one character, the real money comes when you are having like 6-10 characters running tons of crew skill missions!
  3. You don't have Matter Transubstantiator in stock do you? Or does someone??
  4. All the new content is well worth the money spent IMO. Yes the class mission is short and only a bit of a teaser but the whole storyline is generally good and will be a lot better after patch day when they iron our some bugs...
  5. As well as learning what is the best augment stats to go for on the new op healer, I am yet to see a guide on theorycraft or min/max gear stat priorities for an op healer? I am happy to gear up with some new 186 pieces from the basics vendor but I am unsure now on what my levels of critical/surge/alacrity should be? Any help on this available or is it just the normal stuff = no accuracy, 150-300 crit, 72-74% surge, rest alacrity and power??
  6. Am I right in thinking that unassembled tokens will still be usable after 3.0 and wont be traded in for comms like they were at 2.0? Should i spend them as normal or keep them for a potential trade in??
  7. Forged Alliances is just an optional introduction for SOR. There is no requirement to do it whatsoever, but it will be great if you want to enjoy the story arc
  8. It won't take that long because they are expecting us to level from 55-60 by just playing the new content. And there certainly isnt going to be THAT much new content, it will feel nice and easy, just the same as Makeb did at 2.0
  9. It seems strange how the conversion rate for planetary is the same as for ultimates
  10. If you run out of space on your SSD, you can turn off hibernate and move the page file to the HDD and it will save a massive amount of space
  11. I use razer naga and razer nostromo. Never touch my keyboard at all. All quickbars tied to razer naga buttons 1-12, and second quickbar alt+ naga buttons 1-12. Also have nostromo buttons for quickbar no.3. Using the d pad on the nostromo for movement. Heaven,
  12. Vendors on fleet in the supplies section, you can buy gear.
  13. Yeah, as long as you are gathering, you are going to be making money either or any way. Well... that is unless you are farming colour crystals or bio-mechanical interface chips!
  14. This^^ I have been in many groups failing TC HM as well when pugging but if you are hitting enrage timer through bad dps i.e. it's not because some of you are dying etc then it is because you all need to know your rotations and parse better. In full 180 gear, there should be no problem really. 16m is easier then 8m, and better rewards!
  15. I did some extensive calculations and found that based on prices on the Red Eclipse that you will make approximately an extra 30% by crafting augmentation slot components from the base mythra and turadium, rather than selling the mats. That includes the extra 1 mythra and 45%ish chance of receiving one turadium back per RE. Depending on the prices of the mats at the time, you can either lose money by creating the kit9s or make an extra 10%, it really depends on when you sell the mats. The clear winner was being patient and selling all the mats off at a good price instead of creating kit 9s. So,..... create the slot components but don't create the kits. Problem is... it will always depend on server prices so at some points, it may be more lucrative to make the kits! (basically what Dragondog said in the first place ) Can show my working if someone is interested
  16. You are generally correct with that with the exception that you can crit 20% of the augment kits and get double!
  17. I am a "power seller" of Augmentation Kit MK-9s - I farm turadium, mythra and tricopper flux accross multiple characters and build QT-10 Parts so I can RE for the Augmentation Slot Component MK-9. I make some decent credits this way but I am looking for some new ideas. Is there anything else than I can craft to get the Augmentation Slot Component MK-9 which is as cheap as QT-10 Parts? Or is there anything else worth making which is so regularly high cost and keeps it's value so well as the Augmentation Kit MK-9??
  18. +1 40k points for HM55s is totally unnecessary, stats are fine if you know your job and play it well!
  19. That's actually kind of an awesome way to experience the story of SWTOR. Even better if you were doing all 8 characters, imp and rep side at the same time. When I am leveling new characters, I often find myself finding out bits of the story which would have been great context to other parts.
  20. what time do you normally run organised raids? I have normally struggled to find guilds who want to start runs later at night...
  21. Confirmed. The node depletion and the debuff have different cooldowns do you can sometimes change characters and use the same node.
  22. Thanks, shame about the resource exhaustion
  23. Not sure how best to explain this but I have seen there are some nodes which can be placed in my stronghold to farm mats. I have some which are giving me level 1 mats. My question is: are there nodes which you can place in your stronghold which give level materials and if so which are they and specifically, which would drive level 9 scavenged compounds (turadium)?
