  2. I have noticed something strange as i restarted playing on my jugg to level him to 70 as playing through the story, when I hit Show Darkside Corruption his eyes go yellow instead of orange. I do not know why this is; is it something new that was added or is it a bug

  4. first lesson reroll to tactics, i play the empire variant (Advanced Prototype) and the opener burst damage is outrageous, the sustained damage after the opener is still decent for Tactics cause you are literally using like 5 abilities the whole time (depends on the fight i guess or what you are doing pvp) but this spec in my personal opinion out performs Plasmatech others might disagree but i think Tactics is more viable the Plasmatech
  5. deadly onslaught is fine the way it is and the tech blade thing they would have to change Hammer shots and put in a melee variant (maybe give them assault from juggs) and some abilities (if not most) require you to use a blaster so they would have to incorporate that as well being able to use them with techbaldes. As well the Cynlinders would have to change too and they may have to incorporate certain skills to accommodate techblades. Heat management should not be an issue if ur using the class right
  6. i was thinking of the wrong ability when i was typing, its firestorm that a gives you a 5% reduce from force and tech attacks my bad xD
  7. Enlighten me how Oil Slick is useless, it gives you 5 or 10% damage reduction, i would agree translocate is kinda bad i have never used (or possible just never had the need to). Its not even give PTs the op merc defensive's give us one more defensive skill and let use kolto overload more then once or the course of the 3 minute cooldown that would help out alot.

Well ur first issue u picked pyrotech over Advanced Prototype Second, we only have 2 defensive skills ( i guess 4 if u wanna count electro dart and carbonize, i do no classify them as that) Third, check dulfy for guides and rotation on pyrotech if you continue to use it ( or advanced prototype) Fourth, Powertechs are not viable in pvp anymore

As of now Sith Assassins are the best tanks and Powertechs being on the bottom of food chain (for a while now) the only spec that is decent is Advanced Prototype and thats because the start of the rotation has good burst damage. Honestly if you wanna play a powertech tanking is not the way to go right now
  12. they have nerfed and buffed some classes in 5.3 (which doesn't launch till Tuesday) so keep looking at this website (https://torcommunity.com/guides/miscellaneous/class-rankings) for reference to what is the best at that point in time. As of now Lethality Operatives take the lead for PVE DPS.

  14. the reason why they took it away is cause its a melee skill, your a sage/sorc your a ranged class not melee. Its like how they took away flamethrower for Mercs, its because that skill is more of a melee oriented ability than a ranged ability, or how they took Death From Above away from Powertechs because its a ranged ability not melee.
  15. Like the previous post said it take a lot of skill to play this class, I do 2v1 all the time and I win in them a lot but if its more than that you get destroyed (but anyone would). Also going up against a sniper/gunslinger who knows what they are doing you get destroyed. Play the class to 70 get all of your defensive skills and you will come to see how strong the class is and it depends on what discipline you play as well, each one has a different feel to them so that helps with your experience for the class; In my opinion Carnage/Combat and Fury/Concentration for PVP and Annihilation/Watchman for PVE if the other group has a good healer DOTs don't really do much it terms of damage. Don't waste your money on a Token!!

  18. What is the point in these like normal players cant use them so whats the point in having them in game i just don't find any use of them besides some of the companions being able to use them

I agree they are lacking in the whole spectrum of things, the whole 10m range thing I guess they wanted powertech to be melee class, but I think if they did give us Techblades for that spec kinda like oh look melee class now. They need to buff the range to 15 or 20m not 30, 30m is a little high for a melee class. Assassins did not get a buff they just have the double stance glitch which is making them overpowered
  20. I'm not trying to be rude when I say this but Sharpshooter is in a bad spot for dps for Snipers right now. If you wanna find what gear and mods to use for your gear and the rotation try dulfy.net (as what the guy said in the previous post) Engineering and Virulence are the best sniper specs in the game. Engineering is ranked 3rd for parse right now and Virulence is 2nd in parse, dulfy will definitely have guides for those two disciplines for sure. I don't know if this helped
