Unfortunately at the moment due to the summer months we have not been able to develop a progression team that has been able to consistently run. The progressionists that we do have at the moment generally do PUG and join with our sister guild The Bannerless Order on op nights (Tuesday and Thursday)

Its kind of disappointing to see so many fans and non-fans alike getting upset over a 24 hour delay. Come on people really... how many of you are developers of games? How many of you put in the time necessary to learn what it is that they all have to do. I wouldn't care if this was Bioware or Activision I'm kind of disappointed in the reaction from the community.

I like this idea. It'd also be nice to be able to place funcitonal versions of player ships in the hangars, or to be able to travel to the guild ship from the players ship using the galactic navigation panel

Firstly,Yes we are still available. Secondly not all Christians agtee with Ken Ham's theory of age of the earth. Thirdly, arguably this universe is not the same universe as the star wars universe hence why star wars is part of the science fiction genre. Thirdly, even if I did agree with Ken Hams estimation of the age of the earth(which I dont) 6000 years is still a long long time ago. And lastly, my religious or personal beliefs do not necessarily make me unintelligent or close minded P.s. Galileo the man who declared that the earth revolved around the sun was a Christian man. Otherwise the church wouldn't have had an issue with the stance he made

If you're still looking EDGE of the Republic is a Christian based guild with strong family values. Many of our members have been around since beta and know the ins and outs of the game. We have several casual players as well as progression players. Do not discount us because of our Christian stance, we do allow non-believers to join the guild we simply prefer to take a stance on Christianity. We are a new guild, however, our members are dedicated to keeping things family-friendly. We have several members with small children who often will watch their parents play the game and we intend to set a good example for them. We also have an Imperial based guild for those of your guild with alts who may want to play on the imperial side. We do have a mumble server, a guild bank and a stronghold on the imperial side and are currently working toward getting a guild bank on the republic side. We have a great member base who is always willing to help with anything that you may need, whether it be getting a world boss kill to complete a weekly challenge, running and grinding dailies with you to earn you credits, or helping to collect crafting materials to max out your crafting abilities. We regularly run level 50+ flashpoints and have several members who have reached a maximum level. We also have a guild domain page. We have not started running ops yet as we do not yet have the numbers for it and have been regularly working toward getting our members to max level and gear. While I see your points are we not as Christians to be a shining light in an imperfect world. A world that also is full of evil, Hatred, greed, self-absorption, torture, murder... and the list goes on. Why not set-up a shining city on a hill in the midst of darkness. Christians are called to bring light to a dark world not hide their light in one sector. Also... its a game. It really matters very little what side we chose. Also I've found that while the ideals of the Imperial side are far from Christianity that the core of the imperials is partially aligned with Christianity. Obi Wan said "Only a sith deals in absolutes" and Christians deal heavily in absolutes. Jedi require suppression of feeling and sith encourage giving to feeling. In the same way Biblical text does not condemn but rather encourages our emotions. Jedi code forbids attachment and by extension marriage except in special circumstances. While the sith empire encourages attachment and marriage as it can lead to stronger affinity with the dark side of the force

If you're asking will we be allowing those of LGBT into the guild we expect all members to follow a code of conduct in terms of speech and general conversation and we do ask that all members are followers of the faith. If both these conditions are met then there isn't a reason that someone of LGBT orientation should/would not be welcome. If you're asking will we be speaking out against the LGBT community or will we practice the hatred of the westborough baptist church the answer is no. We believe Jesus' core tenants were of loving our neighbor and standing on a platform declaring something as sin isn't love.
