Honestly snipers in general are not very good in solo ranked. With that said the long build up time for Virulence rly kills the spec for ranked pvp. Snipers are normally tunneled like crazy and the first ones to die so MM is a far better bet. So to answer you question you could use virulence in ranked, but you will most likely get tunneled and die before you hit the high damage parts of your rotation.

My best advice would be to use a healing companion instead of a tank companion. But if you must use a tank companion stack them with shield/absorb and make sure you are having them pull first. As for you at that low level just stack main stat and power. If you run a healing companion (treek/lokin) stack power surge for them. Not sure how the low level specs are post 3.0 but if its comparable to pre 3.0 play Marksman (because virulence is weak low level).

Most things that i have read say to use 2-1 surge to alacrity. I found my best dps in Virulence with 1 alacrity enhancement. Switching 1 surge for 1 alacrity raised my dps by about 150 in full 198s (for the exception of the main-hand barrel.) I've tried it with 2 alacrity and it was a loss in dps. For me it seems like 1 quick savant is the sweet spot.

Only snipers in marksman with a crit ambush with a bloodthirst or ultimate power. I think you're the only one. Not sure what you are saying you do for a living but sounds like you're saying you develop games such as SWTOR. Which is highly unlikely due to your apparent inability to go more than 2 sentences without a spelling error. Unlikely but good lord i hope so would mean less ridiculous/ignorant post on the forums. You should reference the leaderboards and see just how "OP" snipers and operatives are in ranked pvp. I would be seriously insulted if the devs took time to acknowledge this post instead of a post that wasn't totally bonkers.

Only way to do good in ranked, if you're not a super leet pvper/really lucky, is to play FOTM classes/specs. Or get rolled over by people playing FOTM classes. Hence no deception.

I really hope this is just a troll and you're not really serious... I lack the patience to explain why removing 3 classes ( 6 if you include pud side counterparts) from the game would be a terrible idea. However, I agree it is sickening to walk into a ranked arena or just pvp match in general and find all assassins, sorcs, and powertechs. However this issue isn't the classes and removing them from the game would not help. It is the imbalance of three specs Hatred, Lightning, and Advanced Prototype. If you look at the ranked leaderboards you will see that these three classes faceroll. However, almost all of them play the three specs above. With that said, it is a clear indication that the combat team needs to relook at these three specs and tone them down a bit.

After using a full cargo bay full of tokens aka (7920 tokens) i have gotten 31 cartel market certificates and a ton of rep tokens. (Not sure exactly how many due to selling them after a full stack.) With that i received no jawa junk or walker mount. Odds of getting struck by lightning in one year = 1 in 700,000, in a lifetime = 1 in 3,000. I can assume odds of getting walker mount are less than 1-7920 (according to my data). So yes quite literally you are more than 2x as likely to get struck by lightning in your lifetime than to get this walker mount. With that said i can assume one of three things. 1. Bioware wants this mount to be super hard to get. 2. I have extremely bad luck. 3. The slots are bugged and dont actually drop this "walker mount".

I think we all wholeheartedly feel this way.

My jugg is my main and i do love unstoppable i feel it would be bad to make it a utility for a few reasons. First in vengance you have to stand still to ravage which is your biggest ability. So having it makes sense. I remember when you didn't get unstoppable and people would just laugh at vengeance juggs in pvp as they would stun and knock them back as soon as they started ravaging. However in Rage spec, all your abilities can be used on the move, except for ravage which isnt a huge part of your dps. If you do get knocked back you can always use obliterate and jump back to the target. As a second point, Unstoppable would not be fair to give to Maras. I have played a Mara mostly in Annihilation spec but i have played carnage in pvp. In max level pvp i have been able to kill people (with full health) with 1 uninterrupted Gore ravage combo. Thats like 30k plus damage with basicly 1 ability. Although i get frustrated at getting knocked back or stunned after my first tick of ravage 90% of the time it is however necessary for balance. If people were unable to knock you back or stun you, carnage maras would be king in pvp and destroy anyone with little effort or skill.

My raid team maybe a rarity but we have an assassin tank and a juggernaut tanks. For that particular fight if you have an assassin tank you can solo tank that fight with well timed shrouds and stealth outs to avoid the 1 shot debuff from knock back adds. There for you have and extra dps and now with level 60 everything in that fight melts super quick and only needs 1 interrupt before you kill it. At least that was my experience when my group did it in NIM a few days ago. And i believe there is a "classic ops buff" that reverts the cooldown on our cleanses and interrupts while in the instance.

I have seen him around on yavin 4 however he switched server like 4-9 months ago and when he moved back he had to rename his toon to Jonmaddog or what ever so if you can't find him thats probably why.
