  1. Ok. Lets be clear: I am talking about premades, against solos, in REGULAR. Are you able to understand that? Ok. Man, my argument is valid, because of its logic. Ignore math is your choice. You can tell me i am a bad player too, but the fact is that you dont know me. And i am corroboring an argument of someone whos only asking for premades to meet premades. Its ok if you think premades are nothing to worry about. Same if you think t that a team is better at PvP when they win by objectives, like catch the flag or defend a place with lots of tanks and healers, speaking with each other by voice, while the opposite have a mixed party of complete strangers with only chat box . ITS OK. As long as you dont tell people are crazy or bad players because they like fair matches. If you dont like it fair, just say so. You dont need to tell strangers that they are or not, good, because they would like if at the start of a battle, the odds were even. And bro.. opinions about match systems, dont not change your ability. Battle daily, change. Do 1vs1, jump at 2 and try to kill them alone, going to the front of the enemy outpost, strive to battle guys that have killed you before.. that changes your ability. But i agree about 1 thing. A fair system may be slow. And if they ever change it, it will not be now. I am making new contacts. Not difficult for me, just boring.
  2. Hey we are all playing nonetheless. Besides, wanting a new system in Arena, have nothing to do with "youre good for PvE". I find all wz boring when we are chained to it, for gearing up. What i really like is Open PvP. In fact, really want they put a higher achive for killing in Yavin4. I dont know why Oricon stil have 1.500 for it, and Yavin only 100. But i guess thats other matter.
  3. No my friend. Rely on perfect balanced group of 8 coordinated, does not make you a skillful fighter. One can be called a good tactician, which is only part of being a good player. And no, coordinated guys do not magically turn themselves into good players working together. The answer is math: the greater the number of competitors, the greater is the multiplier of winning chance for the team which have better coordination, especially when you have objectives to accomplish. Thats why i am telling Regular is the problem, and not Rank or Open PvP. If youre good enough to have won 50% of your fights as solo (against premades), in the last year, then i aplaud you. I am on Jung Ma. And at least there, i can count on my fingers the players i trust that possibly do that. Apart from the rest you said, you made a point when told us about queuing times. They have to weigh this carefully, because there some people who simpy stop queuing too, when see premades. On the matter of BW doing, or doing not anything to change the system, i have to say i like SWTOR. And since no game can thrive without a number of subs, i am worried. Because i know i am not the only one very unsatisfied with some of its old aspects (match system), and some new changes of 3.0 (class balance).

My friend, when you play with your mates, you get very good advantages: - know whom to trust. - what every one of them is capable of. - almost every call is answered. - When help is needed, usually the timing and type of player is adequade. Even if youre not on RC or something, the overall coordination is much more better. There is no comparison. If you dont see the numbers, do wz daily. If you do, you alredy know that most of the times, the solos cant handle it. If that last one, is the case, then you just like to take batles, and dont mind if the other team is in no equal situation. Its ok. Your preference. But dont tell people are crazy. I say again. Take on the guys whose love premades in Reg, alone in the field (Javin4, Oricon, etc), and you see the great majority fall like they never done PvP.
  5. Its so simple to see the system is eating solo guys. Just go to Yavin4, and do an open battle. Take on the same guys whose have pride to destroy parties of solos, in Reg Wz. 90% of them are helpless if alone. Some are helpless even if in fact, they get help of friends right in midle of battle. Sometimes you can even take 2 at once. And this is a little sad, actually. Because you see them destroying good or average parties of solos, simply making their group like this: Sorcs(4)-Vanguards(3)-Sent(1- remember the buff).
  6. Totally agree with you 2. A fair match making sytem is needed. This, and work again the balance between the classes. Only so, the game will live the time it deserves.
  7. I dont find a problem in pre-mades. I do find it boring, because i like soloing the game. But its perfectly inderstandable. Thats MMO. The thing i dont find fair, is that SWTOR was, before this expansion, extremely balanced. And it came to this crazy endless war of CC's and Immunities, just to give some players a chance to do some damage. And i am not talking about regular damage. But obliterating good players just counting with this UNbalanced new system. It's ok to bring some old, and not so good players back, but surely SWTOR will loose some really goodplayers on this process. People who knows what is happening and cant tolerate it. Its ultimately tiresome to go against entire parties, with 80% of it composed of the same 3 classes (even in same specs), and see the rest is there just to complete the team. Because there is no option, or to get the special buffs, ONLY.
  8. Exactly my point. Someone that dont like open world, have always the option of making his char on on PvE server, where he can do a WZ when bored of kiliing so many mobs. And they surely gave a boost to some classes, that are now being prefered by players whose only care for a system that they can exploit. Jung Ma is super populated by Sorcs, Juggs Shiens, and PTs.
  9. The PvP balance was lost, in the last Expansion. That's why enter with only few especific classes, is being a so used tactic and it has proven effective. Until the expansion, good players, with any party could still be a challenge to premade groups. Bioware gave boost to some preffered classes of these players who only know how to play with dozen of friends cooling their backs.
  10. Man, i find a lot of player, daily, in MID of Oriccon, blue flagged and i cant hit them, unless they hit me first. I dont know if its a graphic issue. If it is, them its something Bioware need to correct fast.
  11. I care. And I know people who care. On the very truth, i think it is the only way to do real PvP. Arenas are tiresome for me. We are locked with dozen guys hiting one another on very restrictive known scenarios, where one can always count on group balance to sustain him indefinitely. I do a lot of Ranked, but it is fast and artificial too. In fact i would love if they simply remove Companion and Heroic Moments from PvP areas. I would certainly, kill even more. But not just that; it would increase difficulty for us all. SAY? Well, I think this is the last thing i would give attention now.
  12. Too many people are walking blkue flagged. At least on Jung Ma, wich was a PvP server (RP too) until now. I really dont get the reason why a PvP server allow players to avoid PvP, but it would not be so unfair, if some players were not using it just to give the 1 blow, or gank, and then immediately enter Blue Flagged again to avoid retribution. This is happening even on Yavin 4. Oricon is almost a dead zon.. few players, and 50% of them, are in blue. Where are the good old battles on every planet, calling entire guilds to engage near or even in the REP or IMP bases?
  13. I have played SWTOR for a long time, and i used to say it had the most balanced PvP system i found on a MMORPG. I cant say anymore. Classes lost their roles, and gained some utilities that made them more than vital in WZ. The reflex is clear. Note how many Sorcs, and Shien Juggs there are now. Some classes wich were only support, not full healers even in the heal spec, like Mercs and Ops are now too hard to kill if on a group. Barrier are cool, but the regen is really too strong, if combined with running without CC for short time, push, DOT and stats boost. Same with healing of operative. A guy that can stealth/backstab, fire long ranged, CC a lot, run out of combat, regen with no CD... now only misses area heal. Again, this is no crying. On X1, i can take care of myself. But on group battle is unbalanced a lot.
  14. I agree. Its not fair with good players ,whose pay to play, and like pvp, but dont have a lot of time, to lauch new gear every 6 months. I feel free, when i get entire set after a lot of time in wz. WZs are a pain. Give us more reasons to do open world PVP.
  15. There is nothing wrong with the idea of playing an oldschoolgame, without special gears. But since there is nothing wrong too, with giving prizes (equipment, titles, whatever) to those who do great feats, why not work the idea that can bring more possibilities? Its a way to keep bringing new objectives, new challenges. As long as it helps to renew the game, its good. Unfair fightings are part of the thing that keeps players running to get more powerful, and so, the game keeps alive. I really just think its boring to do arena. Its a limited controlled space, not connected to the real game. Thats a pain.
  16. I think its good to be rewarded ingame by various ways. But i also think spent time, should be the last of them. It is kind of frustrating to know that a bad player have a good chance to beat you, for example, if youre doing quests in scenario, with PVE equipement (gained from hard OPs, where everyone must do its part), because he is wearing equipment that he gained just for entering in WZs over and over.. even if he sits down and wait till it ends. But it would be interesting, and stimulating for PVP, to get equipment that would require medals or rank, aquired by killing players out of warzones. Giving daily and weakly quests, like killing a number of players in one specific planet, or killing a boss inside an specifc rival outpost, come in and out of outpost without get killed. Things like that.
  17. Signed. I understand that all options should be not available, depending on the way you choose to live. Because that makes choices kinda having unique consequences and experience in game. But, being limited to Vette, as cool as i find her, is kinda crippling.
