  1. Hi Bioware, It's quite nice to get companions from the opposite faction on KotFE, but sadly, all the customizations buyable in-came are BOP. It's sad enough we can't change the appearance of the KotFE new companions so would it be possible to make the customizations BOL or put a cross-faction customization vendor on Odessen ? (and maybe enable us to change the new companions equipment ? who cares if Lana, Theron or Senya ends up in skimpy outfits ?)
  2. So... I buy a pack for the new items and there is a fair possibility I get absolutely no new items... It's even worse than I thought. Why not simply leave the Grand Packs and the Cartel Packs as they were instead ? The new packs will be the same price. There will be less new items as there will be no more bronze items. There is a chance that the new packs drops no new items at all. So you are working less, keep the price of the packs yet lower their value and yet claim to listen to our feedback ? Grand Packs were interesting because they were categorized and a way to bring back old items to the GTN. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought people bought Packs for 2 reasons : Get items they want. Sell items/packs on the GTN to make money. The reason I choose to open a pack rather than directly selling it to the GTN is because ideally, I think I have a fair chance to get an item I want instead of some crap. Shifting to armor crates rather than single pieces was a step in the right direction. However, if my chances to get and interesting item decreases, I'd rather no take the risk to open the pack and I'll just sell it to the GTN and use the credits to buy the items directly. But in this case, the items prices will likely rise up. Worse, I the pack percieved value drops, I'll have to sell the pack for a lower price. How is that a good change ?
  3. Well, let the Grand Packs permanently on the CM and everyone is happy./ So now, packs are going to be more random and less interesting ? With chances to give me items I already have ? We want a pack to give items from THIS pack. The point of the Grand Packs was to keep the GTN supplied with old items. Grand Packs were also set into categories, limiting the risks to get crappy items. The new setting is less interesting than the previous packs and Grand Packs combined. So, no cheap and accessible armor ? No more reasonable unlock prices ? With the content already lacking, making the CM worse may not be the best course of action. I know I won't buy any new pack.
  4. There is juste waaaay too much possible items for each category for those packs to be worth the price. Is more randomness and fewer chances to get the item I want somehow better ? No.
  5. I really agree with kamennebbie. I'm really pleased XP boost got removed but that is the only thing I'm pleased with : Jawa junks were usefull and a net gain. No reputation track is fine... yet reputation token where fun to get. I would love to find random old reputation tokens inside the new packs. With KotFE I'm drowning under companion gifts. I always find a couple during heroics and inside Alliance crates. That's more than enough. Weapons design really improved on previous packs. Sure I don't want Soccoro blasters again, but I'd rather have only one set of weapons through the shipment than nothing. Contraty to armors or weapons, decorations are needed I much higher quantity (I don't need only one chair or one computer, I need dozens !) They really should have their own slot (or better, be added to collections ! That's the right thing to do !!) I brought an hypercrate. There was no "bonus crate" as on previous packs. As there was less possible contents and less items per pack It felt really underwhelming and overall, really not worth the price. By comparison, I found the previous shipment really great and probalby the best you've made.
  6. Same problem here. Being unable to call old companion back to do non KotFE content before chapter IX is frustrating enough. Not being able to call them at all is really problematic. Has that terminal even worked for someone ?
  7. With now 6 weeks between packs, we are looking at 8 packs a year, 10 tops. I can understand the long-term view, but it's not like they will be releasing dozens of armors with effects in the future. If they continue the way they do, there will be an new armor (reskined) with a new effect on a couple of future packs. Releasing the new effect alone doesn't make a difference. And the effect can be on multiple slots (the trooper armor has effects on head and torso, which could make two items, taking two slots on a pack).
  8. So true.. the recycling of old models is hardly a new trend but the armors with effects aren't even reskins.
  9. I totally agree with you. (my previous post on the subject) The way it's actually done, there is little chance of having both an armor one would want to wear and a cool effect on the same time. It's a cool feature but pretty useless the way it's done.
  10. The armors with the animations and the visual effects from the new cartel packs are a great idea but I can't help but think they are a great step in the wrong direction. The trend has been to go away from "One Class = One Look" to more customisation and "dress as you wish" : "Classical" armors from some classes have been made available on the Cartel Market Lvl 60 PVE shells are adaptive armors Outfit Designer !! (and the removal of weight limitation for outfits) The new animation effects on some outfits (Dynamic Brawler, Energized Triumvirate, Tactical Infantry and now Battleworn Engineer) are great but tied to really specific outfits : The lightning effect on the energized triumvirate armor would be fantastic on a Sith sorcerer, but the armor itself, no so much. Similarly, the tactical infantry would look awesome on my sniper or on my tech-savvy-gunslinger-cyborg... if it wasn't for the trooper look, with the over-compensating pauldron and the ugly-and-huge cube backpack (and the orange lights -_-'). When the Mid Rim Explorer's Pack came with the energized and the dynamic armors, there was a bug which allowed us to display the effect on any outfit selected. It wasn't perfect, but it was good enough, allowing to have any effect I could want with the outfit I liked. But that bug wasn't promoted to feature and was fixed. What I suggest I to separate effects from the armors to enable players to apply effects to the outfit they want. From the early bug we know it's possible to display the effect on any armor so let's do it : make the effect be a collection-unlockable stampable item which would be used just like a dye on an outfit and voilà ! or just put the bug back and add a checkbox on outfit allowing to display the main armor effects or not (but that is quite an ugly solution). The animation effects on armors is a new feature, not a revolutionary one, but a cool-looking one indeed. So why keep it on just a few armors when it could be used on all armors already available ?
  11. Update : Missing decorations are still not there in 2.10.1 The Holographic Weapon display from the new decoration pack is offset waaaay to high. Please, is there any news on that ?
  12. Well, you can have your companions as holo-statues. They don't dance though.
  13. Hi Tait ! There is a couple of decorations still missing in the current patch : The class circular signs are nowhere to be found Decal : Recharge Area and Sign : Danger, Keep Out and Watch are not on the prefab droids The voss sculpture (not the sarcophagus) is not found either Others decorations are reported missing in this thread but I haven't checked all since 2.10 Can we have news about those or have at least the 2.9 known bug post updated ? Thanks !!
  14. I guess it have been there since the last patch, but It looks fresh and nice and I'm looking forward any announcement about it... but the name.. an electro weapon ? really ? What about techstaves/techswords variants ? Will I have to tell Akaavi that there will be a new toy that she won't be able to use *again* even if it's just a staff ? (And you know she's not easy to live with when she's upset). Is there some kind of "Electro weapons users conspiracy" ? Hilt users against Barrel users ? Do I have to jettison the wookie ? Please, oh please do not forget tech weapon users...
  15. Dear Market Operatives, I've got that Zabrak mercenary on my ship, Akaavi. We where doing shome shopping on the Market when she saw the Cathar Warstaff : Wonderfully crafted, nasty looking... the perfect match for a true warrior like her. She was in awe. And I didn't even had to gamble to have it. Then I had to point out that it was actually an Electrostaff... not a Techstaff (and a bladed one, wich is not the point here)... Akaavi got moody, depressed and grumpy when she realized she wouldn't get a new toy anytime soon... until Guss made a joke on it. Now, I'm stuck with a frantic Madalorian who wants fish on the menu... so, for the peace and sake of my crew, I beg you to either : Give Techstaves a bit of love, when you see fit. Tell me how to duct-tape a barrel in place of a hilt and be done with it. You would have all my gratitude. An otherwise happy customer (the primordial blaster is a blast !) and independant Captain.
  16. Aller hop, je m'y colle, comme on dit, sur un malentendu, ça peut toujours marcher... Voici donc Aryss, contrebandière sur Battle Meditation. Image 1 Image 2 Un gros merci aux orgas pour avoir eu cette idée !
