Bump. Still looking. Will level a sage and put in app with Tragic Heroes (thanks for replying!) but would still like to find a raid impside - any regular raid group will do, even if you are only just getting into HM content. .

As above. Back after a long break, looking for a regular group around 8 pm Eastern. Prefer Imperial but don't really care. Have a geared sorc ready to go but am familiar with merc and op as well and could get one ready if that would be better. Did most of my progression in 3.0 (I think?) and was working through DF/DP NiM before I quit. Have cleared all HM except Ravagers, Revan and the new robot thing. Have cleared an assortment of NiM but not recently. Looking for a laid back group, preferably mature (I am 30+, married, etc). LF a group at the HM now, NiM soon level. Please PM me on here if you think I could fit in. Also generally interested in an active raiding/PVP guild and would happily sub or fill in whenever. Fun please, no drama.

This is a L2P issue and nothing more. Playing a sorc healer well requires focus and anticipation, not simply spamming HOTS and falling asleep at the wheel. I have no problems healing any of the 55 hard modes, even with new or poorly geared tanks. But I see where you guys are coming from. I have had many a run on my DPS where a sorc healer will start throwing out bubbles on the group 25 seconds before the fight starts and will then proceed to use their AOE heal as if its the only one they have. In a crisis a good sorc can deliver massive single target heals, and with smart play and proper use of the bubble, can keep a team of 4 alive pretty much indefinitely. Sorry for the long post, but I LOVE my sorc healer and this thread makes me kinda sad

TY TY TY!! I will see if I can find you guys over the next couple of nights. I suspected that much of what makes a good healer a great healer is awareness and knowing the fights, and beyond that, triage and resource management. I am slowly getting better at these things (force bending is your friend ^_^). hi. first time posting. long time solo player finally getting serious about endgame, and i would love it if i could have 5 minutes to chat with a veteran sorc healer. i have specific questions, and i have read extensively, so my hope is that we will both get something out of it. teaching is a form of learning after all i have successfully healed all of the 55 HM fp's and have also had some raid experience, but not much. if you are such a kind soul, please contact me in game on my main Urziel, or post your toon's name here so i might seek you out. thanks in advance, and i apologize if this was the wrong place for this post.
