You state this maintenance mode many times, but i don't really think a whole new expansion coming this fall is maintenance mode.

I hope Kotet will change your mind.

I'm not sure if they said that they are not allowed, or can't say anything, only that they will be able to provide info on / after the NY comic con.

All I can say is that we'll see. You are presuming they'll mess it up which may or may not happen.

It was said in livestream that they aren't allowed to say anything regarding kotet until new york comic which is on the 7th of October as far as I know.

Good one, seriously. Of course they can't satisfy everyone, if "some people" raise concerns regarding an aspect of the game, I doubt they will put high resources into changing that aspect. Not just BW, any game developer company. If you think it shouldn't be that way, then your expectations are right up your.....

There is an official announcement date of Kotet in less than a month, BioWare is not for blame because some players are impatient. And they will definitely won't change anything because "some people raised concerns".

How do you know they don't care? We have only datamined info on Kotet, no one knows what the story will be, no one knows what group content will like be, yet people assume it will be bad.

No. Feedback is important, I wrote that there is nothing wrong with discussing things you don't like. "KOTET will su*k" for example is no feedback.

This is an honest question. I understand that a lot of people is disappointed with some aspects of the game and they put their criticism here, and that is how it's supposed to be. Where else to discuss it, than on the forums. I posted in several threads about the things I don't like myself. But. I noticed there are some people who do nothing else for months, than spending their negativity on the forums. They make 10+ posts a day and those are all hate speech against BW staff. Why? It's clear that not just they don't like some aspects of the game, they hate everything! So why sub? If you already unsubbed why stay here? Why don't you just move on?

Do you really think BW make their design choices based on the feedback of the same 30-40 ppl who are constantly raging on the forums no matter what BW does? I think they are on the right path, so who's right?

What would you like, what should they say? The changes in the game are not final, they are in testing phase, as I said, there is an official announcement date, be patient. If they would tell everything about kotet now, would it be better for you? It's still months before release. The community is full of spoiled whiny little children, if BW announces anything, it's immediately met with rage posts, are you surprised that they don't post regularly on the forums? If Eric, or anybody from BW posts anything, a lot of people instantly reply with rage and skepticism. Maybe BW would be more open to the community, if it wasn't the most toxic, spoiled, demanding community the world has ever seen.

Official info about the new expansion will come in october as it has been communicated. You will not get info on kotet before that. What's so damn hard to understand about this?

This isn't really about Kotfe, but post 4.0 game state as a whole. 1. I want to play Knights of the eternal throne, not Knights of the returning companions. After chp 9. some chapters were only companion recruitment with a side plot as an excuse. I want the plot to advance, i don't care about that Kotor "Mission" clone's jokes (i don't even remember her name), or that Gault(?), or that mandalorian. 2. Difficulty. This is laughable. Trash mobs and bosses are just there to slow you down, not to stop you. You can complete almost all kotfe without doing anything else, but basic attack. I would like this to change in Kotet. And by difficulty I don't mean larger health pools or bigger base damage, but mechanics. Make bosses mechanically challenging, like Arcann, but even there the mechanics only gave you the illusion of difficulty, because even ignoring them you couldn't really die (could you?). 3. Group content tied to Zakuul. I don't feel like doing old flashpoints / ops, because they have nothing to do with the current plot. A few flashpoints and an op(?) would be awesome in Kotet. A GW / ESO like random events on planets would also be awesome. 4. Get rid of "if I first hit it the mob is mine". It's outdated, if you are not in a group and hit a mob an other player already took, you should get the xp + loot too. It's very annoying in heroic zones. 5. Tactical flashpoints are a mess. Your chance of success highly depends on the group composition. And by group composition I don't mean skill. If you have a group of 4 low level dps, every tactical is a nightmare. If you have a healer, or 1-2 level 65-s, it's much easier. This is not right. Make bolster better or I don't know, but currently this state made a new low in group content, which is "kick the lowest level and pull out a healer companion". 6. Make 2 queues in flashpoints. Story and rush mode. It's a simple checkbox for players, but this way story players wouldn't have to deal with the "SKIP!, SPACEBARR" players and vice versa. These are all that came to mind.

No. People didn't get something because of their own choice. Now people make up stories why they didn't do it, so they can cast blame on others (BW in this case). Children do that a lot.

When I'm angry about our customer's non stopping moaning, I always think of how much worse it is for SW:ToR staff It was very well known what is the requirement for the bonus chapter. It is a subscriber reward. If you are not eligible, that is because of you (neither I am btw). A lot of you were complaining how unfair it is that for a month sub you can get all the content, but a continuous sub is getting no real reward for staying subbed. Well, here it is and you still complain. For Bioware it's damned if you do, damned if you don't. And the most funny part is that you didn't subscribe because BioWare didn't tell you that it's about the shroud. Yes of course, if they have been told it, I'm sure you were be like "Ooooo it's about the shroud, let me subscribe then!".

I just wish maintenance times were less frequent. Even if no patch is coming 4-5 hours downtime on every week EU play time is unacceptable. I remember when I had a day off from work, I wanted to play a little ToR but couldn't because of maintenance. Frustrating.
