Howdy, Cannot complete "Secret Passages" mission because Justicar Computer is not clickable to download schematics. In-game bug report filed on Bergeren Colony server. A little bit of Googling revealed the only remedy to the problem was to complete in Instance 2. However, without a second instance the mission can't be completed. I have tried logging, quitting client and restarting, and deleting the 'DiskCacheArena' file in the swtor subfolder to no avail. Please fix this. The dang mission is about to go grey on 2 different characters and being a stubborn s.o.b. I will play other games until it's fixed, after all I made out like a bandit during Steam's summer sale. However I digress, please fix. TTFN

Sure I'll just drop what I'm doing....

I like to reply, "Can't powerlevel someone in this game. I'm more than 5 levels over the mission so you wouldn't get any XP. ... Cant level without XP. They usually reply, "Oh, thanks anyway." -
[BUG] Rakghoul Event, Did not receive canister from binocular mission
banditEarl replied to banditEarl's topic in Bug Reports
Ya, saw the other thread but my issue is that on my (and my friend's) preff. account I can't open a customer support ticket. There is no way to get the missing canister. I'm not sure if they can but maybe a mod could merge this into the other thread. However the whole thing is moot really, the event ends before my friend will be able to play again. It's just disappointing that, after convincing him that running the event on his one night to play would be a good idea, we get short-changed with no recourse. *shrug* Whatever... we'll just avoid in-game events in the future. ttfn -
Howdy, Kinda miffed about this although after realizing the crystals my friend weren't as good as the ones had I eased up a bit. So here's the deal, I have a sub account that is my main account for my day-to-day gaming. I also have a preff. account that I use to play with a friend that can only play once a week. So we were running the rakghoul thing just to get the 4 DNA canisters needed to get a black-green crystal to replace the ugly arse pink-purple ones we have. Imagine our surprise when we get ready to head back to Jeelvac for the last canister and realize we're one short. After some quick Googling I found there was a bug where Empire chars. < level 55 were not being rewarded the DNA canister from the binoculars mission and the solution was to file an in-game bug report and one would be sent by mail. Cool, I thought and tabbed back in only to find that preff. accounts can't create a ticket to file a bug report (even tried /bug to no avail).. Needless to say I was not happy. I thought I remembered reading something about preff. accounts only receiving in-game support for 90 days after purchase of CC. I was about to buy some CC for both my and my friend's preff. accounts when I stopped and thought, "Wait a minute, I'm about to shell out RL money to compensate for a bugged event." To heck with that. We had already wasted time and credits (for vaccine) plus I wasted some CC buying something I didn't need or want from CM to see if that might activate the in-game support. I guess this is where this post goes from reporting a bug/minor rant to a suggestion. Let preff. accounts submit bug reports, simply make it the only option in the "Create a ticket" UI. I may be missing something but how does restricting who can file bug reports help a game? Anyway, that's the last event I'll suggest to my friend. ttfn

Subscriber: how to best use Cartel Coins to speed leveling?

If you can swing it I also recommend the Legacy Human Species unlock for +100 presence. This can be huge at lower levels making your companion near invincible. Just my 2 creds. -
REQ. Clarification re: Report name feature
banditEarl replied to banditEarl's topic in General Discussion
Thanks all for the answers. I'm most dreadfully embarrassed the guidelines from the Rules of Conduct. Safe travels. -
Howdy, I noticed this feature a little while back but haven't gotten around to ask for the clarification. So, what constitutes a character/guild name worth reporting. I could have sworn I saw something in the ToS or CoC that mentions that character names shouldn't have titles in them ('Lordbob' or 'Sgtrock'? ). I would also guess that racially, sexually, or religiously offensive names could be reported but what else? What about copyrighted names such as Vader or Leia from the movies but spelled with special characters? What about names of actors or musicians? As a brief side note I feel compelled to say that if I see a 'Jbieber' or a 'Mileycyrus' I will report regardless of answer. Are there extra guidelines for RP servers (e.g no names like 'Ipwnyou' of 'XxlegolasxX')? Anyway, I would appreciate any clarification and apologize if there is an FAQ I missed. Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can use PayPal for CC purchases as well as subscription payments.

No Planetary commendation quest reward???

I would do low level heroics to farm PCs. The 4 on DK award 3 each so can get 12/day in a about 45 mins. (most of which is travel time). Toss in the Nar Shadaa heroics and you can do pretty well in an evening. -
Howdy, I've been looking for a good place to farm this, Empire side, on Belsavis. TORhead coments mention Rabid Belsavis Varactyls near the starting area. However that is the Republic starting area. Anyone know a good place to farm this Empire side? TYIA
