Recently played through the Iokath storyline with my Trooper and was very excited to see Elara Dorne returning. My Trooper had romanced her through the main storyline and at the time Elara loved to receive courting gifts. Fast forward through KOTFE and KOTET, my Trooper had a reunion with Elara on Iokath and was able to resume the romance, only to find that Elara is now indifferent to courting gifts.
What gives? It makes the reunion feel cold and the romance illegitimate in some way. Did I do something wrong or is that just how the developers want it to be?
I would think that after 5 plus years of not seeing one another it would make SENSE that they would need to get to know each other again, to build and strengthen the relationship. Maybe I am reading too much into this, but I think that if Elara is TRULY back and the romance rekindled then I think that she should love courting gifts like she did before the expansions.
