  1. Now it's the error 208... I'm at a loss for words... At least this means they are doing something. Hopefully they get it right this time. *fingers crossed* @EricMusco Mate, I really think you should talk to your buddies there to do something to compensate EU players. This is past the point of being ridiculous...
  2. I'm pretty sure the problem is getting a solution when the U.S. servers begin populating for real. Since the folks at the other side of the ocean are all sleeping or at work by now, the Devs must be quite relaxed. Let the Eastern Coast reach the normal play time and you will see a solution coming out of nowhere like a bullet... P.S.: This is like wishful thinking at this time...
  3. Sorry mate. I tried to do what I said above and post it asap but apparently, I was not quick enough... Next time, move your Assets and Movies folders somewhere safe before uninstalling the game. Better yet, make a backup of those 2 folders. Thats like 99% of the size of the whole game and usually maps and movies are not part of the problem so they are often safe to keep. Just a thought...
  4. Well, just to add to the discussion here: I uninstalled the whole game, BitRaider and user settings. Only kept the Movies and Assets folders (those are the enormous maps and movie files that take up the 25GB size of the downloading)! Reinstalled all from the beginning (using the same Assets and Movies folders) and the problem remains exactly the same. Either gives an error or I get to the Play button and it crashes. P.S.: I know how hard the life of a Developer is (being one myself) but I've seen people getting fired for less than this...
  5. I disagree with you when you say the content didnt change. I think it has, big time! You can not do the same things you did. Note: I do like Obama and I do not kick puppies. But I love kicking big nasty dogs...
  6. Loved your answer. In case any of you even care, I thought about it, like I said I would, and already bought the damn expansion but that doesnt mean I have to agree with the decision of making all of us do that effort...
  7. Some people in this thread understand the dilemma and some dont. The problem here is: You continue to pay for a subscription, and you may choose not to buy the expansion. Very well. When I subscribed, I was getting a game that simply doesnt exist anymore. If you all think that by not nuying the expansion you content yourself with playing the same game you have always played, youre all dilusional! If that was so, why change the leveling tree to EVERYONE? I dont want the expansion so, let me keep my old tree! Let me keep my old gear and the old venders. Where are they? Anyone knows?...
  8. Sure I did. You got that one right on the money man...
  9. The most intelligent answer I've seen posted in a while. Totally agree with you and this sort of explains my original doubt.
  10. This suggestion is a must! I think anyone would love that!
  11. Maybe you are all right and my doubts have no reason what so ever to exist. I dont know. I will think about it though, I have the subscription active and may as well take the chance to level up a new char or something like that. Cant do anything else till the 14th anyway...
  12. That I dont know either. This is my first game in which I even spend money at all (that says a lot about what this game ment to me) and I was willing to keep spending it but I am feeling almost abused of...
  13. Well, I will decide something but its a llittle... strange, is it not? You already pay to play something and now you must pay something more to keep playing while you keep paying what you already did... crazy, to say the least!... I would like to know if there are more people thinking like I am
  14. Well, that is a great way to get involved in a discussion. You do realise that you cant play this game alone, right? Not that it will ever happen but that posture is... stupid, to be polite...
