one of the main reason people play in APAC server is because of the ping. heck, the reason i played this game is because of that only. I would've gone playing TERA or GW2 if it weren't for the great ping. The reason why I'm still QQing is because this is the only game that still has APAC server and I dont want that to go, imma QQ til the end, dun care if it wont change anything

Tried a few tunneling services, all of them cant go under 160ish in NA. dunno for others tho

while I understand your view, having higher ping, 150ms to say the least, is pretty much killing all of the playstyle, especially PvP. there are many ways to preserve playstyles without having to move to NA server.

This is what interest people in the first place, if all MMO's have the same ping, I would've player TERA or GW2 or anyother MMO's. so yes, they are screwing the auzzies and other asian gamer out there since APAC does not mean Australia only.

Latency is the most important thing when you're playing online so it is NOT SMALL ISSUE. Not all have the same amount of ping that you have, and with that kind of ping you can tell theres a slight delay, this is intolerable for hardcore player. if you didnt notice anything then maybe you're just a casual player who doesnt pvp that much.

you dont know anything about high ping do you? I quite AION cause of the ping (200ms++), quit TERA online cause of the same reason, did not try GW2 cause i know its gonna be the same problem, choose SWTOR cause they have low ping and now, you are taking their footstep.

My ping is usually around 100ms playing from Indonesia but since 2 or 3 weeks ago it started to jumped to 300ms++ and it stays like that. I checked on US server and surprisingly its lower than oceanic server. Anyone experience such a thing as well? cheers

not fo INA players I think, so far the best choice for us is oceanic and like you said could be ISP problem

nah, I got around 100 - 130ms on oceanic server. 300++ on US, definitely not gonna play there

Hi, I'm a new player in SWTOR, been playing for the past 3 weeks but I'm quite familiar with MMO games. The best thing i found in this game is the warzone. Keeps the game entertaining and fun. but when i reached 50 it gradually becomes less fun. I just realized the gear gap between me and all the old players out there. I may not be a very skilled player but I can still noticed the difference in gear. In terms of skill I think they're not far off. Well, I can understand they already played this game for a while but do I have to face a team full of Epic gear (idk the names, all the purples) every time I qued on WZ against me who's just using recruit pvp gear + 2 BM? if the WZ can filter the players by gear rating to make it abit more balance, I think it'd be much better cause currently I need to get roflstomped alot first to get my full set gear. Well then again, maybe the system did works this way but the population of my server is low thus creating this kind situation. So, maybe someone could enlighten me? I'm just saying that the one of the things that makes this games is different from other MMO's is the War Zone. So, if I had to 'farm' gear(dailies, etc, etc) before I could go to PvP then its just like other MMO's out there, do PvE to PvP, abit mainstream isnt it? cheers
