  1. This is awesome, first off I never expected the free month thank you very much for that! Secondly regardless of the few whiners out there I love the potential of the legacy system. Really excited to be able to force choke with my imperial agent. If each new update is this epic you will have my subscription for a long time =) much appreciated!
  2. Get big framerate drops,. When i move around the computer oftens "stutter" before it loads everything. Often happens in populated areas such as Illum and the fleet. How is this even possible? I usually have around 50 ms latency so it's not network lag.

My OS it optimized for best game preformance. Disabled services and features i don't need etc. Have TRIM activated on my RAID setup etc.

How much RAM? I don't see that listed anywhere, you can have a great system and if you have 2-4 gigs of RAM it is still going to run like crap. I currently have a 6 core AMD, 16gigs of RAM and a GTX 570 and get no lag, slow down or studdering of any kind.

  3. And who says there isn't?

The problem isn't the # of servers, as has been mentioned many times. The problem is that people CHOOSE to play with their friends. Well, damn, your "friend" got in day one of EA, and their server is full during primetime (they all are). So, now you have to sit and wait and wait and wait. Surprised? Not so much.

How do you alleviate the problem? You don't. No, really, you don't. You can't.

Adding more servers works for new players

Automatically provisioning new accounts on closest (non full) server works for new players, but then they won't be able to play with friends, soooo, that's out.

Locking "full" (what's full, really, I mean, there are going to be times when none are full) servers doesn't work, because, hey, I want to create a new toon. Oh, damn, server's full, can't create another toon.

Allowing more in per server is going to only upset the players already on the server.

This is a lose/lose scenario. Unfortunately, that's just how these things start up. WoW had TERRIBLE queues at the beginning. This is one of those growth things tht they WILL work out eventually. Stamping your feet , throwing little girly fits isn't going to get them to do it ANY faster. It may make you feel better, but really, it makes you just look like a *******. Be patient, wait. We ALL have to go through and wait at some point in our lives.

It is easy to fix, offer guild transfers and bonus xp if you move your guild for a week or whatever. Also ban the creation of new characters on swiftsure at least, also give Aussies and Europeans some damn servers and stop shoveling them on US servers.

  4. Yeah, I was 1800 about 2 1/2 hours ago, 702 now.

Well I clearly am not going to stay up until 4am to play the game, this is just stupid. Bioware you made a game that has less bugs in it then any other MMO I have played on release. It runs like silk, I have had no lag, no problems but you really REALLY screwed up logging into the damn server. Of all the things to overlook lol

  5. IMHO... 5-10min in primetime is not an unreasonable time to wait for a que...

Anything past that means they will be loosing more and more business as the waits to play get longer.

I don't mind paying to play a well made game. But, I will stop paying when every night is 15-30 min for me to get in. Let alone the hours it takes some folks.

No cussin, screamin, or other... I'll just figure my money and time is better spent somewhere else.

Please get this fixed. It seems you have a good game. What little I've gotten to see of it so far.

I would kill for 15-30 minutes, I have been waiting for 30 minutes and it says my wait time is another hour and 50 minutes. I got in at 1800 people waiting in line, 30 minutes ago and I am now down to 1650. Based on that it looks like it will be about 6 hours before I can log in.

  6. There is a very simple solution, buy more servers and get this fixed by next week. If queues are not under 10 minutes by release I honestly am not sure if I will be picking the game up. I get an hour maybe two a couple of times per week to play (more on the weekend) and if I can't get in when I have that time why would I start paying a monthly fee. Right now I am getting multiple hours to log into my guilds server, that is stupid.

This is flat out unacceptable this day in age, this is not the year 2000, most MMO's have figured out how to make sure this never happens, why can't you? This could be the thing that makes millions of frustrated gamers quit in the first month and look elsewhere toward a MMO that they can actually log into.
