I remember starting the game as a Sith and running around Korriban/Dromund kaas, being introduced to all of these Iconic Sith from the comics, seeing the character development. The empire felt so powerful to be a part of, we had a mysterious dark council of powerful sith lords and even the mysterious Emperor working behind the scenes which also made the empire feel powerful. Seeing all the military and fleets the empire had, it just felt so good/****** being part of the empire and playing a sith. The cinematics also portray how strong of an attack the empire made on the republic such as the sacking of Coruscant. However, since the start of the game till now we have seen the empire lose time and time again. The dark council have been eliminated and replaced countless times like cannon fodder, these are supposed to be the 12 most powerful and cunning Sith in the Galaxy. The emperor/voice killed, key members killed off Darth Angral, Mortis, Marr, Baras. Ravage, Decimus, Gravus, Grand Moff Kilran, Dread Masters, Mandalore and the rest of the dark council/Imperial heads and their replacements. Darth Malgus was originally planned to be killed off but has been brought back recently. We lost Corellia, Balmorra, other planets. battles and are on the verge of defeat as of Makeb. To be playing an empire character and knowing that all your hard wrok/effort is going to nothing and makes no difference anyway in the grand scheme of things feels demoralising. The Empire is in ruins so far and was already much smaller than the republic to begin with, than the cherry on top with the Zakuul attack eliminating the rest of the key sith members/imperial military. I would not be suprised next expansion if there is a mission to raid dromund Kaas and kill Acina/Vowrawn and any ''key'' sith we have been introduced to in the comics/game since its inception. And with the Nathema Conspiracy, its clean up time again where again key members of the sith/imperial military can be killed off. It just feels like a joke at this point, ''let’s choose between the almighty sith empire or the republic'', but what empire? Theres nobody important/iconic left except several irrelevant no name npcs with no character development running around dromund kass or the imperial fleet. There’s no one to look up to or follow, we had that in Marr but it didn’t surprise me when they killed him off. It almost feels like Bioware are doing this intentionally or the loss of the crew in 2012 really damaged them and their storytelling capabilities. Blizzard kill of key WOW characters however they have managed to keep a core of very well-developed characters around for us to follow and interact with, the same can’t be said for swtor and the empire.

This has been an issue since the start of the game. The only success the empire had was before the game launched with the treaty of coruscant. Since then majority of the Dark council are killed, Balmora an important world with lots of manufacturing and industrial power is lost. Corellia is lost another core world with 1/10 of the empires military eliminated which is quite a lot considering the empire only has a fraction of the population the republic has. Malgus,dread masters,revanite threat and the destruction of ziost one of the founding capitals. As well these key defeats the emperor goes rogue which is a huge morale blow considering the emperor rallied the empire to fight the republic at the start. As well as this key characters that were instrumental before the treaty such as Grand moff Kilran, Baras and Angral are gone. Combine this with the complete annihilation of the dark council in KOTFE and further defeats. Imperial intelligence dismantled,children of the emperor dead,korriban attacked the list is endless. The empire is so much weaker now, right now it feels like the remnants are clinging on until the day the republic invades dromund kass and eliminates the empire. Playing an empire character couldn't feel more dissatisfying with so many key characters and defeats I can't see the empire ever rising back to its former glory. Killing Darth Marr was the cherry on top, the last interesting character and the only hope the empire has of survival. Meanwhile the republic still has the Jedi order, the senate,satele Shan despite being weakened by the eternal empire.

I can't see it happening tbh, our characters are already fairly high up in rank. Spoilers........./ The Jedi knight is the battle master of the Jedi order the inquisitor was part of the governing body etc. The reason the trooper never progressed beyond major was because that is the highest rank available which still involves doing work on the field and fighting. Positions beyond what we already have are desk jobs and it would not feel like our characters are in power if we are running around being ordered by grunts and low ranking officers.

I have this problem as well, I main a Jedi knight who is probably the strongest Jedi in the galaxy right now and I felt completely outclassed against Arcann. Why did senya have to launch us back? But the real issue is that they need to cater to non force user characters as well so from a non force user point of view it makes sense. With the other classes it is laughable. I guess the writers also want to express how powerful Arcann is because if we could face roll him it would be boring.

So who do people think is the most powerful Jedi left in the galaxy. After 5 years the order is scattered and satele is no longer the warrior she once was. She also has aged quite a bit.

The Republic has killed more dark councillors. Darth Arho dies on illum and 3 dark councillors are single handedly killed by PC.

Unfortunately I do not have early acces as I only returned last month but for those of you who have played through the new KOTFE story. How is it so far? Do choices matter? And is there variation between each of the classes.

Why is everyone hyped about this choice? It makes no difference the outcome plays out the same albeit slightly differently. The story will be very linear with almost no difference except companions making multiple playthroughs a bore like SOR was.

My friend has played the closed pts and in short he has said it is dissapointing.

Don't get your hopes up. This choice has absolutely no effect on the story and plays out the same. What were you expecting? Choices never make a difference and chapter 1-9 can be cleared in a matter of 2-3 days of casual play if my sources are correct.

We know that Darth acina becomes Sith empress in KOTFE. So no point getting your hopes up. The sith inquisitor is no longer on the dark council he is the 'outlander' of the alliance. Everyone has been demoted to the same status. Feel free to search Torcommunity.com and check upcoming codexs if you do not believe me.

That was only a small part of a chapter. Wait till it releases before judging it, so far it looks linear but if we are travelling from various planets I don't expect the rest of the game to be. And also "don't get me wrong" has got to be the most overused phrase in the history of the web.

As someone who knows a pts player I would really temper your expectations.

The emperors wrath is a Lord not a Darth. I think the Jedi knight would win, he's taken down the voice of the emperor on uneven ground. He seems to be the Luke sky walker of this era and Luke ended up surpassing all previous Sith and Jedi before him to become the strongest ever.

On neutral ground who do you think would win in a fight and is more powerful.

Power wise it is debatable, I would say the wrath is better with a light saver but Nox is better with the force. Rank wise Darth Nox is higher. As of shadow of revan the wrath is no longer the emperors wrath but a pawn for Darth marr and he/she also posess no political power.
