  1. I tend to agree and have had a similar experience, feels like its just a PVP game now, while fun for some is not how I play a RPG.
  2. Why is this a PVE mission that makes you do PVP? I agree on the dumb semantic that you are not "forced" too do it, but its still a PVE mission, if you support this than you support me joining a PVE warzone and just not caring about the mission, I will AFK it and get away with it most of the time. that is how I finished this mission.

Is this game not a RPG? if you want a MOBA or a game that only caters to PVP player than it should be 'battlefront', this is a MMO/RPG based on the idea that you can solo the game without upsetting other PVE players (which has been the case for me the last 3 years) this forced lv sync is annoying, as an option in PVE and forced in group/PVP fine but "Firefall" does it but it does not annoy me at all, I am going to let my subscription lapse (a refund would be nice) and go back to MMO's that like's PVE players and does not inhibit or make your level not matter anymoe. I have also noticed some people want to make lv sync even more restrictive, so this does not leave me much hope for this game being supportive to PVE players while being fair to PVP.
  4. Just make lv sync an option for PVE, does not affect anyone game how solo PVE players play, then force it in group/PVE, that would seem to meet most expectations, As the game currently is I wish I could refund my sub, I am going to let it lapse and go back to a real RPG.

  6. Tell me this, how is a longer fight were we are all pressing 1,2,3 etc (however we use quickbars) in PVE more fun if I play by myself? This is only in response to PVP only player's. the rules should only apply to PVP servers.

What problems do you mean? were they there before 4.0?, until the 4.0.1a update you could get rid of lv sync by logging of on a speeder if you read the patch notes so it is a toggle they have added that can be turned off, none of the supporters seem to care about less rewards and they do that with non-subs already, how does this affect your solo game if you dont PVP?, and the "challenge" argument is subjective as we have seen, alot of people want it as an option cause it not a challenge anymore to me, its just more grind now, that is not a "challenge", its just time spent on boring crap mobs while hunting mats/exploring etc. Saying that it will take "too much effort" is just saying you don't agree, but you don't have a good reason why.
  10. This has been my point, the way I play the game to have fun in PVE solo does not affect other players, I wanted somthing like lv sync for group mode 2 years ago, the only reason this is forced is for PVP/Nerf reasons. This game is turning from an RPG into a PVP MOBA.
  11. Forcing lv shift only caters to PVP players, I cant really have fun any more in PVE, its a same cause I used to enjoy playing this game alot but now its just trying to be battlefront. I subbed to an RPG not a PVP game that has a story mode. Force lv shift on the PVP servers if the PVP players want ti so much.
  12. This shows that the dev's pretty much only listen to PVP/nerf suggestions, just make lv sync an option and PVE players can choose to team up or go solo again.
  13. the only reson for lv sync is grind/money. the only reason to make it forced is too make us grind more, this game is an RPG so why lv up now? if my "solo" game does not affect you why does it matter?
  14. why continue asking for an "option/toggle"? How would this affect your "SOLO" game?, make it so you dont get alliance rewards for non-lv synced heroics/FP, and keep the WB alliance recruit mission if you don't lv-sync, why is this an issue? I have also noticed that the 1st toon/group get's the kill on a WB, does not matter really if you can kill it in 1 hit as most PVE players don't want to do it again. forcing it on PVP and maybe group mode I understand, but not everyone plays PVP.

I seem to have not communicated my intent clearly, I think lv sync should be an option cause it is something they should have added ages ago, it ticked me off that helping lower lv friends had XP penalty's for them and not me, but forcing people to do it takes away the fun that you can have with a lv 65 now, I think that there should be reward scaling if you choose not to (on alliance missions only). I like the fact that you can try and challenge yourself again by lv syncing to the planet while solo as well, but if someone wants to lv sync solo and another does not want while solo this does not affect you in anyway, you lose nothing. for the past 3 years (my game time) this has not been an issue. What is the bad thing by making this an option? rewards - disable alliance rewards for non-synced WB - 1st hit on the boss determines who gets it at the end, so a team can still "steal/gank/ninja the boss" 1-hit kills - you can still do these as far as I can tell till you to about Nar-Shaddar you can still solo heroics/travel on a speeder fine - see above I am in favor of lv sync overall, but forcing it is just for more grind which takes time that I do not have, I have subbed and even bought cartel coin b4 and spent a lot on this game in the last 3 years, so alienating half the audience when you can accommodate all of them for no personal cost to you as the player seems wrong to me. I am open to suggestions/criticism.
  16. While you are not "forced" to get these companions any PVE player will want to get them, after all it's a RPG and getting the extra bit of story is important to some people. Any team I join in PVP will probably lose as I have no investment in it, so basically put up with newbie PVP players who don't really care about winning, or offer an alternative to get the comp. I don't understand why PVP players do not want an alternate version for this mission as it put us "noobs" in with them.

If you look in the 4.0.1a patch notes people were able to turn off lv sync by logging out on a speeder and logging in again, so the idea that you need to make a new instance or that its to much work seems false, I think a toggle option keeps both sides happy, that way everyone can still have fun when they play. I thought this should be an option in group mode 2 years ago as it was annoying helping low lv friends to get xp from enemies and they fell behind the story lv, so I can see the argument for forcing it in group mode though (I still think it should be an option) With alliance heroics you can just have it so only lv synced players get the supply crate. Basically, let people have fun the way they always have if they want to.
