Well, I let my OCD get the best of me and opened four more packs after this post, and I got the two elusive certificates that I wanted. Is it irony, or does BW really watch these posts and jimmy the RNG gods in their sleep? I dunno, but I'm still not doing this again. peace.

Just opened to my OCD embarrassment, forty bucks worth of packs trying to get TWO more certificates to buy another Eclipse speeder. Nothing. If I recall, I spent about eighty bucks on CC since the CC Rep was introduced, and I received like six of the certificates which was enough along with the rep I had garnered to buy my first Eclipse speeder. This recent expenditure of forty bucks is just way too much money to spend for nothing. Up the drops rates on these things just a TAD, and I might be back for more. Until then, I'll pass.

I've gone through two more cycles since I posted both having the "rich" slicing mission and still no crit. I guess I'm just unlucky, but meh...again, QQ Pt. VIII, and Holiday is desolate now.

I've been getting really nice returns on other crew skill mission crits. However, I haven't gotten ONE crit on Slicing since the Tuesday update, and I've been running two charactesr doing missions pretty consistently. Yes, I understand that the update did not increase the crit chance. However, I haven't had ONE crit in slicing since Tuesday. Before Tuesday I would have at least one every day which would yield a whopping ONE Thermal Reg. Yes, this is a blatant whining QQ, but where in the hell are the crits? I mean come on, Tharan Cedrax hasn't crit'd ONCE in three days? Please. Holiday is aghast!! Seriously, any input on this? Or are the RNG gods just being extra nasty to me this week? It seems off. Thanks...

This bug is still in game for me at least. It's no biggie for most of the speeders, but I sort of like my Blue Sphere sound effects on consistently.

It's Tuesday morning after the latest post xpac patch. I'm still having the same sound effects bug with my speeders. Not game breaking, but it does as someone else mentioned breaks immersion at time...at least proves to be annoying.

Yeah, I know. I just "seems" like I get more RE successes from similar numbers of other items. Pretty sure it's just my own RNG gods being cruel. Though stranger things have happened to me in mmos than having a game value misrepresented. LOL Oh well, I did just get my first (ironically) Implant RE success just now. Nice transition implant until I can make the Makeb Rep variety.

Your first companion, Corso Riggs, gives a very nice Armstech bonus which is very useful if that's the route you want to go. However, if you're on a server of any population, you'll find that everybody and their granny makes barrels. Plus you can buy them with Planetary Comms. I would say go Biochem. It allows you make Implants, Adrenals, Stims and Med Packs which are not sold with Planetary Comms and cost a nice chunk of change if you buy them off the GTN or the Vendor. PLUS if you decide to ever do DPS with your Scoundrel, you will have he benefit of the Re-useable Stims, Adrenals and Med Packs which are only useable by Biochemists. Just my two cents. Hope it helps.

I've been RE'ing the various level 54-useable blue quality Cybertech Earpieces and Biochem Implants in hopes of Artifact schematics. It reads that there is 20% chance for a successful RE. However, I must have the most unlucky RNG or the percentage is actually lower. I find the rate of RE successes on other items such as armorings, mods and augments to actually seem more in keeping with the 20% success rate. Mind you, I haven't kept any strict statistics on this. I believe I have gone through about 20-30 blue quality level 54-useable Earpieces and gotten two successful REs, and I believe I've done about a good thirty level 54-useable blue quality Implants with not one success. The success rate "seems" to be spot on for RE'ing Green to Blue with the 20%. I think there may be an error with the Blue to Purple percentage, and it is more like 10%. Just my experience thus far. Though RNG can be a wicked taskmaster. Any other observations?

Greetings Colony, I'm not sure of the wisdom of this post, but I feel that it's necessary. It was brought to my attention that last week during the second day of Early Access that I was very rude to a number of people on Makeb or Black Hole General Chats. I don't exactly remember the incidents because I had been playing nearly 24 hours. I was exhausted. Combine that with some serious health issues, and it made for an ugly outburst of temper. This has happened before in the past a few times under similar circumstances. I have taken action to avoid a recurrence of this type of behavior by simply turning off the computer after a certain amount of time. I was either on my Republic characters Sebaan or Gr'eg-or this last week when this occurred. I have personally apologized in game to one player in particular, but I really thought it appropriate to do so here because I don't know who else may have been offended. So, I would like to offer a very sincere apology to any players I may have offended and especially to my former guild which I embarrassed. I take responsibility for these actions, and I hope that affected players of this server will accept my apology and regret. I see that after this morning's mini-patch that the Gree Cube still remains a solitary pet. Oh well, that's too bad imho. Perhaps the Mini-Secant I get next week will allow "dual-petting!" LOL Sorry, bad joke. Anyway, we shall see.

I'm sure that this has been mentioned. If someone has a direct link to a main or larger thread, a link would be appreciated. Sorry for any repetition. Since the patch Tuesday, Gree Cube pets only function alone and no longer with other pets in tandem as do Model Ship pets which still do. If this was originally a bug, then it was certainly an enjoyable bug. It would be nice to have it back. Perhaps if not in this upcoming maintenance this morning then at a later date? I loved having it hover around along with my ground dwelling pets. The model ships just aren't the same. Thanks.

Just to put this into this thread which seems to be about BW making money...they need to give us more paid features like paid server transfers, name changes, HAIRCUTS or character re-customizations etc etc etc...before they churn out more fancy mounts. Seems like they could make more money that way, and yeah, I am really OVER the stuck on one server thing. Re-rolling is not as appealing as it once was when new titles are coming out in the coming months.

Level HK-51, and do away with these fem-parasites. Put the two of them in total twink gear at the same level, put HK in similar and he will eat both of them. That is all.

You people at BW seem to be obsessing over profits with your cc market when you could make even more money if you'd implement paid server transfers, name changes, character race changes, haircuts and etc etc etc. Most other games have these options, and I know that I would LOVE to transfer off the fetid server that I am on atm away from the same bloody people I see every single day and have learned to abhor. YEAH, I can reroll, but I would prefer to pay you guys a nice stipend to MOVE. Get with the program and give us some of these features in your CC market. I MEAN MEH, if EQ 1 can do it, this title should be able to do it as well.

You're probably right in that not many are crazy enough to RE something like that. I've only seen maybe one Advanced Force Wielder Hilt 26 and an Advanced Might Hilt 27 for sale on the GTN. Perhaps there is someone who can craft one. If not then it will remain a hole in my gear set until either the xpac comes out or I give in against IRL concerns and do PvP for a week or so. Regardless, I had to ask.

Greetings, I'm looking for a player to craft an Advanced Resolve Hilt 27 if such a player even exists on B-Colony. My character is no where near getting a raid drop, and PvP is simply not an option for me as a player. Please let me know if you can craft this item or know of someone who can. Mats are not an issue, and a fair commission can definitely be discussed. Thanks.
