  1. My Artificer is only around 300-320 at the moment but I am already seeing the patterns. Your Dyes will be the "low end sellers"- the items that won't sell for huge numbers but will sell steadily to give you a decent base income. Your big ticket items will be blue & purple Enhancements for endgames. Your highest sellers will be your Relics.... these things will always sell.. Always. Hell, I'm seeing this just selling the Blue Relics I get from Treasure Hunting... these don't even last a day on the GTN.
  2. Oh I agree with you 100%... they have till Tuesday for me to fix the lag issue.. or even give an ETA. If not, personally I'm unsubbing and going back to STO (they have an update coming to the bridge officer system- and that is one of the things I loved about that game). ANY company that allows almost 100% vacation staff leaving zero to bare bones "support" over the holidays deserves to lose money.. they are too stupid to continue.

  4. You're assuming BW gives a rats *** about anything but the next Cartel pack money grab. Not saying the individual devs no... but the management has shown they don't give a @#$% about anything but milking more cartel coins out of the playerbase. Hell... at this rate.. they are making STO look altruistic!
  5. Based on BW's... "response" to the other major issues after SoR.. I'd say 2017.. if ever. I've seriously shelved my 2 mains, a Jugger and Guarduian because of this and BWs lack of caring about the issue.
  6. I ran into this exact thing- Try turning all your graphics setting to the LOWEST setting in the game preferences.... that's how I got the cut scene to play, once it is over you can crank it back up.
  7. I had this too... try turning ALL the graphic options off/low/very low. It'll make the cut scene look fugly but it will play. Once you get past the cut scene.. you can crank everything back up.

General Access to solo would be GREAT thing for this game- despite what some people rant.. there are portions of a playerbase that do not like/cannot team for various reasons like odd work schedule, limited time, or they just like to take their time and read cutscenes etc (which in a normal FP would get you cursed out continuously). Simply lower the rewards/drops appropriately (I believe the solo FA runs only give credits...) and open up solo to all FP.. I promise you, it won't kill teaming at all and may get more people playing!
  9. SCIn you expressed it as succinctly as possible.. BW has completely soured me on playing ANY new content until Tuesday. While this welcome change is long overdue, it really is a middle finger to those who wanted and played early access. Basically, it has taught me, unless BW offers 12X XP again or something alike... NEVER buy a pre-order- early access is a scam, and because of sloppy work/execution, BW will screw you over to cover their asses... A great idea once again soured by BW's bad execution.. I just have to shake my head... might as well take time off the game till Tuesday with all but lowbie toons.. it's a waste.
  10. In other words... "TY for paying to be a Beta Tester... now piss off" Unless they offer another 12X XP offer or the like... NEVER pre-ordering again, it's a crock.
  11. I'm getting a good idea of how much the beta testing was paid attention to seeing what a mess Rishi is right now. Sorry, but several of these bugs that are being reported by multiple people, NOT 3-4, are edging into "showstopper" level, there is no way they were not ID'ed in Beta. I've been in a huge number of Betas for several MMOs, and sorry, but this is a sloppy push. We aren't talking graphic clipping, we are talking about bugs that severely hurt/limit/block gameplay- they should be priority 1 in beta after the initial stabilization pass. Beta Testers are a varied bunch but you always get a core that are VERY good at testing- again, I highly doubt that some of these were not ID'ed beforehand. Yes I realize live envrons are always different in intangible ways.. but this seems to be way over the acceptable fail limit BioWare.

  14. This... This times a billion. I love Solo mode- I play odd hours and often cannot locate a group, plus I acvtually like to watch the cutscenes to know what is going on... I have left this game several times due to the "SPACEBAR NAO!!!" *****fests I get in some FPs.... It's nice to see soloists acknowledged.
  15. After testing and playing around with it last night and today... I finally sussed it out- it's the opening cutscene. The views of Smuggler's Cove etc.... IF you turn every single bloody graphics option down to low/very low... it plays. After the cut you can crank everything back up, but something about that cut is overloading the graphics. Tested it on my 3 55s, worked all 3. NOW... as to the Jerk to CS comments, let me say I've worked IT for 15 years dealing with end users, yeah.. it sucks. BUT at the same time, BioWare seriously needs to have a talk with it's team- at least half of these bugs should have been caught in Beta, AT LEAST HALF. So far there have been 3 broken quests, a broke FP (Blood Hunt), apparently Tank Stances are lowering damage by twice what they should, mission items being sold by companions.... it is just pure sloppiness. I'm sorry, it is... this was not Beta Tested anywhere near the level it should be. (hell, if I let half these bugs go when I was software testing I'd have been fired years ago) The real shame is the story is awesome, the solo modes (when they work) are a great addition, the new zone (well, Rishi) is beautiful... but a lot is being spoiled by lazy work on the back end.
