  1. I have been playing this game for over 10 years and I've never had this kind of problem. Ever since I downloaded Update 7.2.1, my graphics have been totally screwed up and I don't know how to fix it. As a result, every time the game goes to a cut scene, the game stops responding. I can't play the game like this! Please help!
  2. @branmakmuffin - This will be my last reply to you. After this I will ignore your posts, since I don't have the option of removing them from the thread. In my opinion your comments are a waste of space on the thread. As a guild master who represents several people who have been playing SWTOR for many years, your suggestions are asinine. A whole guild of people, who have been playing a game for years, don't simply bail from a game because they get bored. If it was me, by myself, that would be different. The point of starting the thread to begin with is to perchance get the developers to make a relatively simple change that will keep subscribers interest in their game and keep the money flowing into their coffers. Their choice to develop the new content as solo-only is a bad move that could cost them dearly. In light of that motivation and under the circumstances listed above, your comments are NOT helpful. They are terse and uncaring. I know I have no control over you, you can post what you want and you can tell me to go hang, but I ask you again to cease your dispassionate comments. They are not helping anyone.
  3. @Lunafox - I'm glad they created content that allows you to solo, since that's what you're into. However, my point certainly isn't to take that away from you, but to give us who prefer coop play an option to play as a team. I don't think it's too much to ask of the developers to make it either/or. We know they can do it, since they have done it throughout the rest of the game. As players, we should have the option of either doing the content solo or as a team. We shouldn't be forced to only solo the content.
  4. @branmakmuffin - you have replied twice and neither reply is helpful, just smart-alecky and annoying. Please don't reply unless your reply is genuinely helpful. Thanks.
  5. I want to lodge a complaint and make a request. Most of the newest content (Zakuul) is solo play only. I am guild master for two guilds in the game (one on the light side - Warriors of the Outer Rim [WOR], the other on the dark side - Center for Imperial Atrocities [CIA], on The Shadowlands server). Of course, the purpose of forming a guild is to promote and support coop play, which was our goal. That is what we are mostly interested in. Everyone in the guilds are very disappointed in the most recent content because it is predominately solo missions only. The missions force a person to create their own instance of that mission, even if a four-member team has been formed, or only join one other individual on the team to help them with their mission. As a result, with so much solo content, the game has become boring to us. We use Ventrilo to communicate and because we are all soloing and don't know where the other people are in the story (they could be in a conversation), we don't even talk to one another for fear of intruding on the other members' gameplay. So, we spend hours on Vent, in silence, as we all solo play. There's something very wrong with this picture! I have only taken one character into the new content and, even though I know I will not be able to level beyond 60, am seriously considering NOT taking ANY of my other characters into that content, I dislike it so much. The story is alright, but it's not so great as to overcome the issue of too much solo play. My request is that you make all of the missions like so much of the other content in the rest of the game, make the missions where they can either be soloed or cooped, depending on a person's preference. Until now, after years of play, we have thoroughly enjoyed the game. As a result of the new content, however, you guys are making us hate playing. That's not a good thing for us or for you. I think if you continue in this vein, you're going to tank the game. My opinion. Thanks
  6. I'd like to suggest that a new column be added to the guild roster that would allow for identifying to whom a character belongs. It could be based upon their Legacy Name or Login Name, or whatever. But, that would allow guild members, especially the Guildmaster, to keep track of which toon belongs to whom.
