  1. Grovesk, Thank you very much for getting in touch with me. It's a bit of a pickle with it being more on the Republic side, but most importantly, I'm more interested in the type of community the guild fosters. And it certainly wouldn't hurt to work on developing my Republic characters. After reading over the recruitment post and browsing over the guild site, I think the Thirteenth Legion might be a good fit. In particular, the expected play times for members and the variety of RP forms are a definite bonus. That is realistically about how much time I have to play during the week, and it's not necessarily conducive for regular in-game RP. I think I'd be interested in applying for full guild membership rather than associate status, and if it's not an issue, I'll go ahead and begin the application process. Thank you again!
  2. Hey there! I've played for about a year and a half now and have been in the same small guild nearly all this time, but it's finally fizzled out as people have changed games, switched servers, had real life issues, etc. Usually, I’m the only person on nowadays. With all that said, I figured it’s about time I hunt for a new guild home! The ideal guild I’d be looking for would be cross-faction with a fair amount of activity on the Imperial side, but Imperial-exclusive is fine as well. Due to family and work commitments, I don't really have a set play time, but I'm mostly on in late evenings and/or midday during the week. I'm almost exclusively PvE, though my endgame experience mostly extends to PuGing HM FPs and the very occasional Op. I can count on one hand the number of operations I’ve done, and I’d really like to change that. PuGing those while inexperienced is scary, and while my schedule is too erratic to commit to a regular raid schedule, it’d be nice to be part of a group that raids regularly enough to do casual guild runs - enough to at least see the storylines, practice needed roles, and maybe pick up set bonuses. I usually run tanks (my main being an Assassin), though I’ve recently more been on my newly dinged 55 Sorcerer, learning to heal and really enjoying it. Other classes I can currently bring to endgame are a Juggernaut and Guardian, though the Guardian is better geared for both tanking and DPS (Vigilance spec). In the works are characters of just about every class and role, and I can prioritize leveling and learning one to fit a specific need. In addition to all that, said guild doesn’t need to be exclusively RP, but if there’s a decent number of members who do, that certainly wouldn’t hurt! It’s something I’m keen to try out, but by no means necessary. Most importantly, it would just be great to have a strong, involved community to play the game with. Grinding and leveling by myself gets lonesome after a while! Thank you for your time!
  3. I was going over some of the companion conversations for Lord Scourge on my Knight, and one of them left me with a question. Specifically, something Scourge said: It got me to wondering - in that time period, Korriban is still mostly under Republic control, and there certainly wouldn't be an academy there actively being used (by the returned Sith Empire) until the planet is retaken. The way Scourge phrased it doesn't necessarily mean he was on Korriban three centuries prior to the game's time. I could easily interpret that line as a comment that the Sith and their practices/belief/behavior haven't changed since then. For me though, it does bring up the question of where acolytes did train prior to reestablishing the Academy? Could it just be there was no official location, and it was more spread out and handled on an individual basis? Perhaps there was a school on Dromund Kaas or Ziost? Is there any lore or source that goes into this? I've tried digging around, but I haven't had much luck.
  4. Thank you very much! I appreciate you taking the time to take screenshots and explain your layout. I know it's really personal preference, but it's helpful knowing what others are actually using. And I definitely need to get in the habit of using target of target and focus target. It's kind of...invaluable for a healer.
  5. Hello there! So I'm trying out healing for the first time and am surprised I'm enjoying it so much. That said, I'm in the process of reorganizing my UI to be more healer-friendly, and I'm curious to see what others have done in that regard. Any tips about keybinds, layout, etc. are welcome, but mostly, I'd just like to see the possibilities. Thank you!

  7. Howdy! Been playing this game for a few months now, but haven't really posted in the forums til now. Since this game seems to spawn lots of doodles, I figured I might as well throw some up in a big ole conglomerate thread. So to start this off, a portrait thing of my guardian Ankyra:
  8. New to the forums here, but I happened upon this thread recently. Man, did it get my dormant writing hand itching to get something out! So, very rusty and rather rough-hewn, but hey, I wrote something? Also, some lines were shamelessly stolen from one of my favorite novels, Evidence of Things Unseen, which inspired this scene in the first place. Here goes nothing! Prompt(s) - As Time Goes By, Climate Title - Ebb and Flow Class - Jedi Knight *Some spoilers for Act 1 of the JK's story. Takes place shortly after, but before Act 2.
