Also can't get this achievement, kills do not count. And yes, I have the Master of Tatooine achievement already, can be the trigger indeed. I hope will be fixed soon.

I treid various ways to fix this and still can not launch SWTOR on my old laptop with Win Vista. Though everything is fine on another laptop with Win8. After Launcher tried to update itself, it is no more launching at all. I mean, I see the process in my Task Manager, but nothing happens. Can't solve this problem. I hope it will be fixed soon.

I am having exactly the same issue. After pressing Play button in launcher, all what I see is endless loading screen of KotFE with swirling stuff in the right top corner, or maximum I can see a loading screen, then, after trying to select toon and play, endless loading screen again. I tried different ways of resolving this problem, but nothing works. I don't think that problem is on my side.

Too little, too late. Not enought excuses to make me resub again, because there is no more trust unfortunately. The only way maybe is to remove GC completely and go back to the old good system. not only with tokens. And bring some apologies to players base, yes. This game in it's current state is NOT 'exiting' at all, and all those 'fixes' makes it look even more silly.

Subscriber since 08.26.12, cancelled my sub with start of 5.0. Still have some months pre-paided, unfortunately. Just cant force myself to play this poor parody to that great MMO as SWTOR was back days. There is no way I will sub again till this horrible RNG/grinding system exists. It was a big disappointment, and obviously any trust to developers team is broken after all. All my friends already left the game or leaving now. I already have a work and getting my salary there. I don't want to have another work after my RL work and, and, what is most ridiculous, pay to do that work, lol. This game is no fun anymore. I better save my time and money for something else that gives me fun and pleasure. Loved the game, very. Can't love it in it's current stand.

So, guaranteed token drop only from last boss? Sounds really awful. One chance of 8 to get it? It is even worse gambling that we have just now. Not to mention that with this new system ninja looters will rule this world. If so little chances to get anything useful after completing the whole operation (and some of them are really long, as SnV), what is the reason to make ops at all? It is easier to make xxx amount of wz's to get guaranteed parts. Also, need to say that not every pug is able to finish some ops now, the overall level of people who do ops is extremely low comparing to past days. Dps are especially bad nowdays, and the lack of good gear makes things even worse (i.e. Xeno HM close to impossible with pugs now, since enrage comes at 50% or higher). So, personally I don't see any reason for me to renew my sub. Just waiting till it will expire. What a shame, the game was so awesome, and after 5.0 turned off to complete nonsence.

I opened 3 packs totally, one pack on 3 different toons. I got those packs without any efforts, only by summonning Master Ranos, what immediately gave me one rank of GC. 1st pack gave me a 230 bonus set belt + schematic for dps purple 230 belt. 2nd contained only junk that I desintegrated. 3d pack contained 230 bonus set chestpiece + schematic for correct tanking 230 relic. Though it does not matter anymore. Already cancelled my subscription. The system itself is so disgusting that I feel sick even thinking about to grind that GC stuff. The game must bring fun, not stress and boredom, or even make peope unhappy with poor rng system. So, whoever had this awesome idea to build gearing system, based on rng and grind, can play this russian roulette themselves.

Agree with this idea, sounds very reasonable and not so hard solution for such a huge problem. I already cancelled my sub, if this horrible gearing system will not be changed to better, I will definitely not subscribe again. Though it will be very sad, I was a loyal subscriber during many years. But current gearing system is something so terrible, that I have no forces and wish to handle this. Patience is over.

1) Several missions, as some of old Alderaan heroics for example, was removed indeed. But not so many. So you need to open world map and turn on checkbox 'Show exploration missions'. Then you will see missions that currently hidden for you. 2) It was intended. Level influence on her to 50 and you will see that your comp is stronger than majority of players around. That's why better to do some HM FPs with companions that with pugs... 3) They said, to add more mobility for melee. P.S. Run away while you can, or RNG devils will enslave you!!!!

Nothing to do? Are you serious? Normally, people gear up not just to have that high level gear to kill droids on Tython, but to be able to do progression. You say no one should be able to get BiS gear in week. Why? If people have skills and know what to do, why not? If they were able to do that, it only shows their level. If someone was not able to get that... maybe did not deserve, because if not able to obtain it, for what use stuffs that created for hardest content? Yes, it was like 1 week to get full 216 and one month max for full 220-224 in KotFE, and? After that people were able to do something more serious than SM OPS or EV/KP HM. Now, to be ready to try those NiMs to progress, people must spend literally months to get decent gear. Not everyone has possibility and wish to grind 8 hours or more every single day. Also. no possibility to gear up returning players quick, what reduces amount of people who can join hard content. No more quick swapping roles, because to gear up even ONE toon for NiMs will be a pain. It will be a proble to find people even for 8m phase, not even thinking about 16. Huge amount of raiders quit after those news about GC was announced. Basically, people can rerurn to same level of gear to contimue their progress only after long months. You think, they will stay for so long? OPS token system was optimal. Now we got something, what requires endless brainless grinding, and, most important. such a horrible RNG, that even after a year of grinding there will be a chence you will never get an item you need. Thanks. So, I agree with author of this topic. Not participating in this grind fest. Not countinuing my sub. Very sad about some months that I pre-paided. It does not worth nor time, nor money.

It is so horrible and even insulting for all veteran players. The game turned out to silly grinding that does not require skills or brains, but only an endless repeating of same content. It looks like gear from now on will only reflect an amount of time that player can spend in the game, grinding. Also, is there any reason to do most hard content, if after hours of wiping somewhere on Brontes NiM you will get the same reward as someone who just did some easy tactical FPs during this time, and that reward will be RANDOM? Any real reason to do this? Any reason to have constant raid team from now on, if no certain gear drop from bosses? But BW, please think about it. To get the best gear was one of the goals of this game. From now it will be possible only after long weeks of grinding. But who has time to grind some hours every day? Mainly children or those ones who has no work and family. Let me say, those have not much money as well, so you are just reducing amount of people who are ready to pay for sub, when you literally exiling solvent people. Because, after such news, the huge amount of mature and adequate players will just leave this game. Those changes... sounds not inspiring at all, just completely absurd. I am already blaming myself that I paid my sub for next 6 months, should've wait till news. Was worst idea ever to pay.

Good day! I was doing tactical/solo flashpoints for event tier 4 reward. From all of them, Depths of Manaan FP wasn't counted. It is still missing in list for 'Light vs Dark: Flashpoint expert' achievement. I did it 3 times in 2 days with my new event toon, in solo, then tactical in group, then in solo again. Still missing it. Can you please fix it, otherwise I will not be able top get my reward This bug seems to be random, because my guildies have no such problem, but have similar problems with some other flashpoints.
