I think most people are mad about the fact that there are so many bugs in the game (FP disconnects, hood problems, etc) that have been in the game for so long and with every update all they do is add more cartel items. I don't mind the cartel market, I've made some minor purchases here and there, but when as a sub you are waiting for more new content or AT LEAST some fixes to current content, and all you get is new content that you can't access without:

     

    A. Waiting ages for the sub cartel coin stipends to kick in

     

    B. Opening your wallet in addition to the sub you are already paying for

     

    C. Grinding loads and loads of credits

     

    it irritates people. Yes, they are fluff items. But it IS content. What's the point of having a sub if the content they add on requires you to do the things mentioned above? If they had added a way to grind the rep like Section X or Voss, that would of been fine. They could of rewarded both subbers and cartel market shoppers. But after waiting so long for updates/fixes and getting this, I can understand why people are upset. They should be.

     

    When I think of a subscription to a game, I think of access to all content. After all, that's why we pay the subscription. Some people go F2P, some go preferred, some buy what they need when they need it at the market, some buy loads of packs in the market. That's fine. A sub is what I choose and I shouldn't have to spend more or grind to a ridiculous credit amount (someone said over 50-60 million?) in order to access this.

  2. Hi all, first time poster on here because I love the game so far and haven't found a lot to post about. But, as I was browsing MMORPG.com this morning I stumbled upon a major issue a preferred player was having. Here's a direct copy:

     

    "So I bought a cheap unlockable for my account. I actually bought a bunch, but this is the first one that I've had problems with. I bought the Display Legacy name (account) unlockable. When I clicked on it, everything was fine, I could see my legacy name. When I logged off and back on, I actually lost the upgrade.

     

    The problem is when I contacted Bioware about this, they said that they couldn't help me, (they couldn't even try to help me) because I'm not a subscriber. So, I buy something from their shop, and they can't help me when it bugs. Really, really shady business practices. Buyer beware....."

     

    And a few posts down from the same player:

     

    "Just happened to me again. I bought a weekly space mission unlock. I used it, no space missions. And again, I emailed and phoned, no support."

     

    If this is true and it's not just a delay, this is a major issue and as the poster says, very shady. I am unsure why there is no support for anyone but subscribers (correct me if I'm wrong there) because LOTRO seems to do ok with helping everyone. They just work faster on subbers.
