Here's the YouTube vid: The "Boonta Eve Classic" on Tatooine where racers from both factions from different guilds navigated through the dangerous sands of this epic planet. The prizes: * 1st place: 3 million credits, and 2x armorings (Dread Guard level) * 2nd place: 1 million credits, and 1x armorings (Dread Guard level) * 3rd place: 500k credits, Ball Toss, and 1x armorings (BH level) The winners: * Azwraithmeow (Hakuna Rakata) * Penguinkiller (Hidden Sound) * Fuz (Synergy) Setup: * Entries were accepted by in-game mail, up to the last day. * Checkpoints were developed to prevent cheating. * Racers must /wave to a judge at checkpoints and dismount first. * All racers that registered were given a vent channel they could access so they could hear instructions from the judges. Best question we had on Alpha Republic vent was: Racer: "Will there be a red path in front of us?" TheLastDon: "I don't exactly have that capability to make a red path."

Unfortunately he did not /wave to a judge. Also attacked players at the starting line up which violated the rules.

Alpha Republic would like to announce the winners: FIRST PLACE: Azwraithmeow of Hakuna Rakata SECOND PLACE: Penguinkiller of Hidden Sound THIRD PLACE: Fuz of Synergy Summary We recognized before the start of the event, there were some guilds that participated mainly to gank other people. In Outlaw's Den, we saw a massacre -- it didn't matter which faction you were on -- the killers attacked those that didn't belong to their guild or group. The key to the win was Hakuna Rakata's ability to protect their racer. They circled their racer and other folks basically sacrificed their lives to protect the main racer through Outlaw's Den.
