  1. Looking at the screenshots of items off of the Torhead database I have surmised the following: Mod 1 can be equipped at character level 7. Mod 2 at level 9. Mod 3 at level 11. Mod 4 at level 13. Mod 5 at level 15. Mod 6 at level 17. Mod 7 at level 19. Mod 8 at level 21. Mod 9 at level 23. Mod 10 at level 25. Mod 11 at level 27. Mod 12 at level 29. Mod 13 at level 31. Mod 14 at level 33. Mod 15 at level 35. Mod 16 at level 37. Mod 17 at level 39. Mod 18 at level 41. Mod 19 at level 43. Mod 20 at level 45. Mod 21 at level 47. Mod 22 at level 49. Mods 23 through 28 at level 50. This may change with later updates and expansions. This will make decision making faster for me at least when it comes to seeing the mod number of modification item without having to mouse over it for the stats and open my gear up to comparison prior to making any changes.
  2. 46, ex Navy submariner. Lifelong game player. Most here would count D&D as the original blueprint for MMO's today. I take Sun-Tzu's philosophy to heart when I play all factions and classes to learn their game mechanics. My professional life has a fresh Bachelor's degree on the resume but am collecting a production wage-earner's paycheck for the time being.
  3. League 2 per the OP criteria. My fun stops where the sandbox style of play ends. Pet collecting, pet taming, and pet training was a big hit with me in SWG. WOW became the 2nd best version of pet taming and collecting to be found in an MMO after the NGE. This includes mounts of all types. My MMO resume: Planetside - never did the grind for the walking battlebot BFR's. SWG - never completed the grind for a full Jedi but had 4 toons at level 80. WOW never leveled past 80 or completed a raid gear set (1 level 80 and 49 alts in various stages of twink). Private server mid-rate (20 level 80's all classes till the end of WOWLegacy with raid sets earned). EVE - unless you subscribed since BETA, you will never attain the millions of skill points the old timers there have (3 toons/1 account avg 12 million sp each). STO - (3 Vice Admirals and 4 Lt. Generals) mission geared only. RIFT (6 toons at 50 but no full sets of gear from any dungeon or raid). SWTOR (8 toons avg level 20 and leveling up) my ambition is limited to F2P limits imposed.
  4. Imagine how boring this game would be if it determined your gender based on your account information and only allowed you to create same-sex characters preventing cross play. It would become an epic bad business decision the likes of which would have rivaled the SWG-NGE.
  5. I am in support of a cummulative chance with a 100% guarantee at the 5th reverse engineer attempt to allow for a leveling toon to advance in crafting at the same rate without going broke or exhausting their resources. I think it would make crafting for SWTOR more fun and rewarding.
  6. My first post! I am looking at the division among the players of having macros on SWTOR. I use them for my most commonly used emotes in "other" games, such as cheer, thanks, point, rude, etc. So why hasn't SWTOR embraced the role-playing side of this argument and offered a list of emotes with icons we can drag to our toolbars if they are so dead set against macros?
