  1. They really ought to give a +5 artifice critical sensor to the ship droid. Getting lightsabers to crit is so annoying.

Marauders have pretty simple (maybe 6 abilities?) rotations/priority lists, but it's also good to keep some other skills in an easy to reach spot on the keyboard, because there seems to be a skill for every occasion. You don't use every skill all the time, but many of them are useful at specific times. Some skills, (like vicious slash, for instance) are replaced as the character progresses.
  3. Nope, not really, no. I think Juggernauts get something like that, but not Marauders.
  4. I'm annihilation. My priority/rotation is the standard one. I'm pretty sure there are no issues there. I think my main problem may be gearing. It seems to me that my strength stat is pretty low compared to other marauders. I would like to see a good comparison to a very high output marauder so I can figure out how he geared himself with mod swaps and such.
  5. Hi, I don't usually feel like I don't do awesome damage, but every once in a while I'm in a warzone with another marauder who makes me look like an undergeared scrub. I'm in full battlemaster right now, and I've got augments in both of my sabers. (Haven't gotten orange gear crafted yet for the other slots). I don't have any war hero stuff yet, but I'm getting pretty close to it. So my big request is for some sort of min-maxing guide. I'd really like to see a pvp video where the creator goes through all his gear, all his talent points, etc. and explains everything, then shows a match where he actually goes through the practical application of those choices. So, has anyone seen anything like this? Otherwise, I'd be interested in some sort of solid guide that would cover all of these facets and help me to maximize my dps.

  7. This problem is pandemic for all classes... it's not just a stealth class problem. Sometimes I'll stand around for 20-30 seconds on my marauder just waiting for combat to drop so I can heal myself. Actually, I would say stealth classes have it a little easier, since they both have a CD that will instantly stealth them and drop combat. Other classes don't have that. I agree with some of the previous posters that this problem is likely associated with having healers involved in the combat. I would suggest that it occurs most frequently when there was a heal over time ability cast on the subject of the combat, thus putting the healer into combat with the player. The player defeats the combat subject but is still in combat with the healer, who has likely left the immediate area.

  10. I changed my (albeit low-leveled) sorcerer to lightning spec after 1.2 and while it's not amazing and I have basically 0 survivability when I get someone on me, it is fun to spam chain lightning at large groups of players.
  11. reroll Imperial. Most Republic populations are so sparse that you'll never even see an enemy while leveling.
  12. Happier. I feel like there's actually a point to crafting anything besides Biotech or Cybertech now. Artifice could still use some improvement, and I'd really like to see craftable pvp item modifications.
