It's quite simple, a lot of the people who didn't like it stopped being subscribed and aren't here. In any case, I think that the only character whose story barely holds during KotFE/ET is the JK. I would have preferred if the story was split into eight shorter stories, something congruent with each class, in a way that you can play all of them if you want more content (as it was in the original game).

You're missing not only the civilian/militar point, but also the fact that you're assuming that saving a Mandalorian ambassador, those who kill for sport, is better than a thief who steals to survive.

I appreciate the idea of the command system as a way to organize the endgame content. But I think it wouldn't be hard to make some lore background to all of it, creating some kind of minigame, like a galaxy map interface where you can manage your Alliance. This way, maybe what you do in endgame stuff (heroics, uprisings, flashpoints, ops, pvp, etc) could affect your map, and you could help your Alliance to conquer and keep planets and maintain your power base.

I think the canon character is a mix of both.

You're right, the force was not designed to have sides. Yoda discourages Luke from using certain aspects and abilities, and from let himself be carried by his emotions. I think in the dark side as the aspect of the Force fueled by emotions. It's also known that some actions, like killing, can be the source of dark side power. The light side is everything else, the non-emotional abilities, and only appears in some games of the Star Wars universe as a way of make a measurable counterbalance for the dark side. So those we can call light side users are just those Force users who don't use the dark side.

I agree. Light and Dark sides of the Force are one thing and morality is another. For example, in Episode 3 Sidious sent Vader to kill the separatist leaders to grow stronger in the Dark side. As I understand it, killing people leads to the Dark side no matter if it's selfish, altruistic or without logic.

I think the opportunity to do this was in KotFE, with a hero class starting lvl 60. And maybe 2 specializations, knight of Zakuul (something like Senya) and Scion of Zakuul (something like Heskal). Now it doesn't seem probable, but I like the Sith Alchemist and Jedi Seer/Healer idea. It could be one class with a short introduction questline. For what we know of 6.0, there is a big war again with Republic and Empire. And at the beginning of KotET the Voss join the Alliance and go to the war outside their homeworld. So could be a good time for them to join the conflict and perhaps play as a Voss Mystic (something like Sana-Rae), who after a short intro quest chain in Voss could choose the specialization and the faction that comes with it (Sith Alchemist if join the Empire and Jedi Seer/Healer if join the Republic).

Class stories. In my opinion, all expansions had a lack of specific class content if not specific storylines. I'd prefer shorter stories but differents for each class over a larger one for all classes.

Dumb question after finishing KotFE. Which empire is the fallen one? I though it was mean to be Zakuul, but none refers it as fallen that I remember, and the only one that actually "falls" during KotFE is the Sith Empire.
