  1. Sounds good! We completely understand and we're more than happy to help out We'll both be applying. Him on his Sniper (Ziixx) and me on my Sorcerer (Valanine).
  2. Hello! The fiance and I are currently on the hunt for a progression guild and I just happened to stumble upon your post! The two of us have been playing the game on and off for a couple years. I did a lot of raiding in that time as a healing Sorc (EV, TFB, Dread Fortress and Dread Palace). Only did up to HM. I have no experience with anything past those few Ops, but I'm a quick learner. My fiance did mostly PvP, but he'd like to get in on the PvE action, meaning that his Operation experience is zilch, again, he's a very quick study. I have my healing Sorc and he has a Sniper that he'd like to raid on. We come as a package deal, so we'd like to stay in the same Ops groups. We are East Coast (on a West Coast server, I know), and we would be hoping to raid during the weekend, hopefully no later than 12pm EST. Our main concern is just finding a guild that intends to or is currently doings Ops. Look forward to hearing back from you
  3. Was just wondering if anyone else had experimented with the Mirialans as Dark Side. I made one thinking that maybe if I chose the very last skin color available, then went fully dark, my character would turn out to be close to, if not completely, white. Anyway, with that being said, this is what my character looks like at Dark III. http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff469/AiDeeKay1991/3844992a-4b98-45c0-9055-b70898efd019.jpg?t=1368914994 The original skin color was the last available one on the slider. http://i1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff469/AiDeeKay1991/51983f1b-938f-4f13-a529-9c2c2b9cd7f8.jpg?t=1368915853 If anyone else has any info on what she may or may not look like at Dark V, let me know! If she won't end up any lighter than this, then I'll probably just turn around now and head toward Light V instead. Feel free to post your own characters!
  4. I can say for him, since he doesn't seem to be saying it himself: You're all focused on the fact that he said he plays a sniper. That he really has no reason to complain because he has the CC immunity and he can't be leaped to and whatnot. Take into consideration that people can main on more than one class. He's played multiple classes and he's still capable of PvPing efficiently despite the stun locks that people seem to complain about the most. He knows how to avoid them and PvP effectively. If people are really having this much trouble with the PvP after 1.4 then you really do just need to learn to adapt. I can tell you now that I've seen plenty of people do it with just a little bit of effort. Changes like these aren't going to stop, especially since the game is going F2P in November. That just means that the changes will come more frequently. For me, PvP is fine. I play a Carnage Mara - I still play my lvl 50 Consumption (healing) Sorc on and off, and I will be playing a Powertech and an Operative in due time. Mind you, I don't have any idea how to play PTs or Ops, but like I said, I'm going to adapt and learn.
  5. By him leaving WoW, he's not "crying" over it. Crying is complaining about it and continuing to play in hopes that by some miracle the game will change just for you. He left because he didn't want to put up with it anymore. There is a difference.
  6. This actually sounds like it would be a lot of fun. Would only be for larger, established guilds, but that would probably also stop the creation of the 100+ smaller guilds on the server. It would also slightly increase guild loyalty since the only way you can participate in this masterpiece of PvP work is if you're in a guild. I really like this.
  7. What you can also do is make extras of any green schematics you have and "Reverse Engineer" them. By doing so, you have a chance to learn a better version of the schematic. You can RE a green item to learn the blue schematic and with RE'ing a blue schematic you have the chance to learn the purple schematic. As you obtain these schematics, the stats of the original item will increase, but the item level will remain the same. So you could potentially have a level 20 character in complete purple gear.
  8. Where did you hear this? SWTOR isn't dying, and even if it was, it's goin g F2P soon and that will bring in plenty of new players. You also have to think that the people that come with F2P will realize their limits with the game and soon decide to start paying if they want the full experience. Overall, F2P is just a form of advertisement that BW is using to get the game out to audiences that may not have had the initial motivation to buy. I mean, like myself, I like to play a game first and test it out before I ever decide to put money down on it. I played free to 15 before paying. So even if you did hear that SWTOR is dying, it's only because D3, Guild Wars and Mists is pulling them away (for a short while... they'll be back. No game has the amazing playability that this game has). F2P will bring in plenty of new subscribers. What this has to do with Crew Skills.... nothing. You have to think of all of the alts that people will make. Like I said, the playability of this game is amazing. You have a Jugg? Well, make a Mara... get to know a class in a different way. You have a healing sage? Make a dps sage. There will always be lower levels in SWTOR because people are curious. Therefore, they will always be picking up new crew skills to better suit that class. Your concerns about the declining masses is invalid.
  9. I have a twi'lek assassin - might post a pic of her when she gets passed level 20 and actually looks decent.
  10. Zirani - lvl 39 Corruption (Healing) Sorcerer Prophecy of Five http://i1055.photobucket.com/albums/s503/AiDeeKay-1991/1f9db9f0.jpg She's got the black/white/red color combo going. And as everyone can see, I went full retard in the bottom right corner.
  11. I personally prefer it this way. If I were given the chance to choose which warzone I entered, my options would be slimmer then they already are. I mean, there are four warzones total and I'd be choosing maybe one or two to play over and over and over? I'd get bored out of my mind and probably stop PvPing. At least with this randomization I don't know what I'm getting and it doesn't get overly repetitive. Plus, it gave me the chance to familiarize with the maps and adapt to the different styles of PvP that come with those specific maps. If you feel like you're being "forced" into certain maps, then maybe you shouldn't PvP? I mean, if you don't like the map you got, leave the warzone and queue again until you get one that you like.
