  1. Hey just a heads up I'm not going to be able to do anything at all tomorrow.
  2. Coordination to take out the transports isn't necessarily as difficult for my elite, militarily competent force, specifically trained in demolitions and explosives. As well given my factions movement perks (including stealthy movements) would give small groups the ability to coordinate strikes. My snipers are elite units, so they shouldn't be having trouble. And in this environment giving away position will be difficult, snipers work best in difficult terrain. In say an open field engagement yes, or with snipers that wouldn't be moving. At the same time, their tail is the primary weapon they have for catching prey. So they could just knock out the low hanging ysalimiri. Also pretty sure canines lack tree sense. If the witches did, then that would be even worse for you than you can possibly imagine. Natives, no supply problems possible, experts. Even if they don't fight outright they could supply my forces onworld. That might be a problem if my troops weren't designed to operate in low organization and supply. As well as having inroads with the natives, which will help alleviate supply issues.
  3. No, guerilla tactics does not mean that we expect them to sit still, in fact, we welcome moving as it means that the NF will have a less fortified position. As well, given the shadowing my troops have already done the past number of turns means that my troops know you have stealth transports already, which means that we can work to remove that mobility with our Heavy troops. Furthermore my faction benefits, as I said before, from a number of movement buffs. Infantry speed and deceptive movement. My faction also has snipers on the ground which means that eliminating any probe droids will not give away an exact position nor necessarily reveal where my forces are. The droids can operate in the terrain, alright. My troops are also trained for the terrain. My troops grew up, as J pointed out, on a world worse than Dxun. This terrain will be easy for them to operate in compared to that. Add to that the terrain perk and they'll be fine dealing with them. Plus I think that, being based off the Vornskr will limit them to the ground, as I dogs cant' climb trees. Also the question arises as to what the Witches will do, and it certainly won't be to help the group that invaded their world.
  4. “I did not fire the first shot, nor am I the aggressor. It is quite clear that the Collective has developed an aggressive stance that threatens the stability of the galaxy as well as the long held traditions of a multitude of people. Not just the Mandalorians but the people of Dathomir as well, with their long held cult of witches, whom the Collectives leading diplomat has denounced as tyrants. But as the Collective has sent their ultimatum, the galaxy shall witness their policy first hand. I request that the New Republic and Galactic Empire both send fleets to observe the conflict of Dathomir. Let them witness firsthand what the Collective did at Mandalore, an even which needs no reminder.” - Mandalore
  5. Mandalore isn't notable for it's friendly environment. It's a good world for training in a number of different environments: desert, mountain, jungle to name a few. So they are at the very least on equal footing on terrain experience.
  6. Actually I'd question who's been on planet longer. Because some of my troops have practically lived there the whole match. Also J, the MV haven't annoyed the natives, unlike the NF. On another note the MV troops are all elites, all are trained to operate in guerilla tactics, and with low supply and communication. Plus, Sil hasn't said how much damage the ASRs managed to do to the NF ground troops before the fleet arrived, which could ruin their support infrastructure. On a side note perks: I think you will find that the MV troops are in a prime position to hold out for a significant period of time given the skill of the units and their ability to use the terrain to their benefit. I mean they have two traits that aid in keeping their movements secret, a perk giving them a boost when outnumbered, a perk that gives them a baseline better understanding of tactics, and a perk that allows them to move faster and more efficiently. Insurgent and guerilla warfare is one of the best counters to a highly skilled commander or a numerically superior force. Given that a number of these troops have been scouting the world as well as working along with natives in previous weeks means that the MV has a different, if not overall superior, understanding of the world than the NF troops despite their number. While the lack of a hero can be overcome because of the potential of this perk if the MV manages to win a number of skirmishes :
  7. An anti-NF documentary was recently released across the galaxy, focusing on the bombardment of Mandalore, with shots that showed the incoming destruction and the horrible aftermath while focusing on how the Mandalorians had taken no aggressive moves against them and their goal of removing the tyrannical Force using witches and wizards from the galaxy. The second half of that film was focused on picking the arbitrary nature of the NF’s Force user policy while focusing on their moves on Dathomir, but with some commentary on how they could turn on the Jedi protectors of the New Republic and the Sith of the Empire.
  8. The holocameras flicked to life as the image of Mandalore sitting behind a desk with a view of the dome city of Sundari filled the background. Her helmet sitting on the desk allowed the galaxy to see her face, “It pains me to have to respond to the hateful allegation of the Collective’s diplomat especially coming from a world with which I, personally, have spent much of my own time negotiating with these past weeks in an attempt to bring my people into a fruitful relationship with these most religiously fervent individuals in the galaxy. Indeed much of my time recently, until the attacks, was spent in diplomatic discussion. All one has to do is look at what my tenure as Mandalore has brought my people and world. I unified the Death Watch, the New Mandalorians, and those who claimed the title True Mandalorians. I built up an economy that improved the lives of my people. I brought commerce, stability, and order. There was no war, there was understanding. I reconciled, there is nothing more to it. While one can look at the past and throw that in our face it would be hard to deny the reality that the Mandalorian people have been abused because of a checkered past. It was not us who started the war that saw the bombardment of the Sundari Plain into a vast desert. Nor was it us who started this current crisis for which our world should be attacked. As for these calls for demilitarization, I offer the same suggestion to the Collective. If you have a true desire for peace then lay down your arms and prove that you truly have no hostile intentions towards the people of Mandalore, who have but fired shots in defense of the world they call home. I see no issue with that.”
  9. The time had come. The cameras were recording and sending to the far reaches of the galaxy. Mandalore the Reconciler stood amongst the ruins where one of the enemy vessels had crashed in Keldabe. “People of the galaxy, a string of recent violent events have ripped through the galaxy. What fragile peace there once was has been broken. Mandalore has so far remained neutral in these matters, indeed, we have tried to keep peace within our sphere of influence, but recent wanton and unprovoked actions have led to the death of countless innocent Mandalorians going about their daily work helping our world to prosper. As you can well see, I stand in the midst of ruins, a civilian factory cowardly bombed by a ship designed to bypass planetary defenses and crash onto your world.” Caught footage from the previous event should be playing as untold numbers watched across the galaxy. “Yet this is not all that this group has done. We know that they also attempted to attack the Imperial garrison on Anteevy and have landed an army on Dathomir,” Footage of the NF force on Dathomir is shown, as well as the short encounter over Anteevy, “I ask you, people of the galaxy to stand with us against the chaos. Unlike the Mandalores of the past, I am willing to work together for a common good. Clearly you can see the threat this group will remain if unchecked. So I ask you to join us, work with us, to allow us to bring peace to the galaxy.”
  10. Except prow cannons have more range than the torpedoes, the MV has an accuracy perk and the Pummelers have advanced targeting computers to help over come that. Your anti-missile theory only works if the ships are operating in a single file line. As it stands the fleet has height, width, and depth. Given the tactics being run, and the MV commander's position skill he'll be able to bring more defenses to bear than just what a single ship is capable of.
  11. Everything is still within control of my commander. A commander who is R6 with fighters and R7 with capital ships. There won't be reckless charging only controlled. Throw in T5 positioning and T4 deception he'll be able to make the NF fleet think he's being reckless while not actually being so. Plus that positioning will help with defensively aiding torpedo defense and fleet offense.
  12. Actually the ASR doesn't even need to really get close it has some nice long range capability with torpedoes and the mass driver.
  13. 1. The dovins will be focusing on shielding and getting past the interdiction field or just getting out of the interdiction field. If the first then they will be less effective shielding and take more time getting out. If the second then there will be no shielding whatsoever protecting the ships. 2. I'm afraid you will find that my fleet has many PTD systems to use all around. Plus a number of my ships have proton torpedo weaponry as well that can be used. 3. The MV fleet has tons of long range weaponry it can employ. Prow cannons in the thousands, long range ion cannons in the thousands, mass drivers in the thousands, and like some other stuff too but not as impressive. This isn't just a matter of jumping in and getting out while doing damage, it's a matter of being able to overcome the defenses amounted to numerous anti-missile defenses, and being able to hold out against heavy firepower and getting out. while hoping their organic shield and escape button hold out long enough to do so. But if the NF ships get their engines busted out or their bridge shot out their in for some deep trouble.
  14. All well and good, but keep in mind my own perks: As well as from my hero: As a whole efficiency, accuracy, and morale are gaining fairly substantial boosts from perks. As well I'd question the ability of the Dovin Basals to absorb the number of prow cannon shots coming from my fleet. And as well the fact that the ASR has a mass driver which gives it a solid range heavy hitter that can be applied at a further range. Yet what could be more important is the Majestic's anti-missile octets which will be able to counter much of the torpedoes (20+ per ship). Given that is one of the big aspects of the opposing fleets torpedoes this will work to severely hamper them. Also I would like to add the firepower of the station, having 1,000 mass drivers adding to long range firepower and 50 long range ion cannons. Will add to the ability to hammer the MV ships. The only thing that is keeping the NF fleet safe is the dovin basals, but those can only protect against so much and in limited direction. The MCs have weak armor so will be easily disabled or destroyed when they DVs get exhausted.
  15. Well, edgier than usual. Plus J, let's talk this: Starting Planet: Mandalore: All Mandalorians fight x10 as hard when this world is threatened, and while it is under their control, they have twice the morale than usual when fighting against non-mando's
