  1. Just yesterday I helped two different people get through the Spirit of Vengeance because they could not finish it alone. Watching them, neither seemed to be bad with their class, they just needed a little help with the final boss fight.
  2. Add me to the list. Using the Keybinds is what fixed it for me. But like someone brought up, unless you already have the keybinding set before hand, you can't lock the bars again until after the fight.
  3. I'm glad someone made a post on this. It annoyed the hell out of me when trying to run my assassin through chapter 10. Then I saw in chat someone complaining about the fact that he made a stealth class for a reason and didn't like the way Bioware just gave stealth classes the middle finger. Unfortunately chat just piled insults and abuse on him for daring to try to avoid unnecessary fighting. Based on this I am a little afraid stealth players won't get much support on asking for this to be fixed.
  4. If you despise this game so much that you describe it as a "hell hole of a game", then why are you here? I would never waste any time on a game I considered a "hell hole", EVER. If I don't enjoy a game then I leave, quietly and without making any kind of a fuss about it. There are too many games out there to waste one minute on a game I don't enjoy playing. Why are you paying to play a game you despise and that is hellish to play? And why do you care about vanity cosmetic items in a game that you think deserves such contempt?
  5. Mike Laidlaw, the creative director for Bioware's Dragon Age series, posted a link in his twitter to an interesting article. The article talks about why game devs can't be more forthcoming and talk about games that they are creating or updates to games. Mike Laidlaw ‏@Mike_Laidlaw 7h7 hours ago If you ever wonder why I'm so often cagey with answers, this covers the many possible reasons: http://askagamedev.tumblr.com/post/126941182591/do-you-ever-feel-like-the-industry-is-too … Ben Kuchara at Polygon made a mistake and made his own article claiming that Mike Laidlaw wrote this article and haters began giving Mr. Laidlaw flack. Mr. Kuchara has since made a retraction and apologized for the mistake. Still, it is an interesting article. I thought that maybe with all the threads complaining about Bioware not telling us more information about the coming expansion it is somewhat relevant to SWTOR. In the comments section of the article a few other game devs have also chimed in on the discussion.
  6. Have to agree to this. I rarely post in chat unless someone is asking for help and I think I might have the answer. And I'll be 54 in August.

For now, though, I have let them know that you folks really want to see them fixed, so we'll see what we can do, starting with the aforementioned two. Right now, we're seeing if we can get it into 3.1 - no promises. -Tait It seems to me that Tait did not promise anything. He said they are aware and will look at it "as we have a chance". I think that the reason Bioware has stopped talking to us so much and the reason the only answers they give nowadays is in careful PR language is because of people twist their words to suit their own goals. If the devs ever dare to even hint they might be going to try to change something or say that they want to get something into the game and then they can't for some reason, people start whining about "They promised! They lied to us! We are paying customers, we demand. . .etc" Even when the devs make a point of saying "no promise" or "we are only looking at it" they are accused of breaking promises when they can't do that thing. So now the devs are careful to not say much at all about plans or what they can or can't try to work on. As mentioned before, this is a small problem that doesn't effect the majority of people, it's going to be low on the priority list, and they have a lot of things to deal with and a small team to do the work.
  8. I feel the same. I am absolutely here for the story. I do not raid, I don't do operations, and I wouldn't do PVP if you paid me to. My group content is I do flashpoints and heroics and I enjoy chatting in guild chat. I will give the OP a point for not trying the classic childish whine that "Bioware doesn't listen to the fans." Bioware does listen. Right now they are listening to fans like me. It's a nice change, people have been begging for more story for a long time. I am certain they will add more raids and operations soon. I hope for the sake of the PVP people (who I do feel sorry for) that they give PVP some love too.
  9. Uh, you *do* see the irony (hypocrisy) here, right?
  10. I transferred a level 60 character to another server on Friday and I didn't lose anything. All of my strongholds and all of the unlocks transferred to the new server. I even kept all of the decorations I unlocked. You do need to re-decorate the strongholds on the new server, but nothing was lost.
  11. I am right there with you. I will trade *any* of my other companions if I can have Theron. Even both of my tough Sith Inquisitors fell for his charms. They spared all the Jedi for the promise of a smile from the man. So betray Lana for him? Done, no problem. Mako. . .okay, I would have to think hard and long before giving up Mako. But everybody else is up for trade!!
  12. I have to completely agree. The arguments against AC change were made invalid when Bioware decided to allow people to create a level 60 toon with no leveling, no learning the class, no learning rotations, etc. All the even vaguely reasonable arguments I have seen in the past, gone with the fact that people will be able create a level 60 with no effort. Bioware is even giving us one free, so there is nothing to discourage people from doing it. I think that at this point they *should* allow people to do AC changes so they can keep characters they love and have even more enjoyment playing them. The game is losing too many people as it is, we need everything Bioware can give us to keep it fun and keep people playing.
