Okay, so same problem. You can't create a post or thread purely for promoting the referral code... but if, say... the post tells about the event, the goals, and your friend... and then at the end of it you mention... "Oh and btw, here's his referral code." That will be within forum rules. You just can't go promoting referral codes as the main purpose. The point is to regulate the number of nonsensical "Click this" posts. So, so long as you word it well, it should be rather easy to do.

Personally, I'd like to see some of the ORIGINAL armor sets come back. The Pilot's armor sets, the original Smuggler's outfits, the original jedi robes... I'd even like to see the Grand Requisition Even come back in a real way. Instead, we get more and more pointless surcharged armor sets, with no real packs anymore short of those abysmal-chanced Ultimate Packs, which I think at this time is fairly obviously unpopular in every possible way. I'm just hoping there's new class missions coming that'll lead to an inevitable revamping of the entire interface... but then again, I'm just still hoping for a revival.

If it's anything like it was in the PTS, it's gonna be a BIG one. Can't Wait!

Generally speaking, it's always a good idea to sell what you don't want or need when you're starting out. Those credits go a heck of a lot farther than any Decoration or Companion. Focus on gearing up, finding datacrons... And click as many referral links and promo offers as you can in the forums. Seriously, you'll be glad you did later. The GTN is easy to use if you get the basics... but the basic rule is this: Be the lowest seller, not by much... and wait out the auction. Good Luck!
