  1. The Server's are still down for a lot of people, including myself.
  2. Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Happy Kwanzaa! Happy Holidays! I hope everyone has a great time and an amazing New Year!
  3. Okay, I feel I should clarify. So when I said "Speed level" I was mainly asking for the different things you do to get extra XP. I do understand that speed leveling is not a good idea for new players. I plan to make sure it's known to enjoy the story and play through the full story, because fun and hearing the story is way more important then just getting to a high level. So once again, I want to thank everyone so far for all of the support and Ideas. As I said before, I'll make sure to give credit to all of those that gave an Idea that I use.
  4. This is awesome, I'm so happy to see the SWTOR community come together to make something for the new guy's and gal's that enter the game. I'm loving the ideas so far, and I'm also loving all of the support! Thanks everyone! I will be making the guide soon(Most likely after Christmas, have a lot to do...).
  5. Farewell ZeroPlus, we will all miss you. I do hope you will decide to join us once more in time, but I also hope you have a wonderful time and find something you love and enjoy to do. I think I can say for all of us, that we are all happy to have helped make the game a fun and awesome experience. Farewell once more.
  6. Hello everyone, I'm going to start up my Youtube channel by making a Leveling guide for new players, I would love if you shared some of your ways of speed leveling. Thanks for the support and ideas. I will credit those who gave an Idea that I use.
  7. You can always do some Flashpoints for some extra XP and they tend to drop some good armor, or you could do some Heroics, those tend to help XP wise. If you get a whole group together and power through a Planets heroics you'll have a ton of XP waiting for you. But yeah, to be honest just follow what SteveTheCynic said and it'll get you up those levels with out having to do all that much.
  8. I'm glad I'm not the only one having the same problem. I'll spend some extra time looking at my map and seeing if I can find out where I haven't been.
  9. Yup, you are one of many... MANY like myself that ended the Hutta story line with out getting a custom weapon. Mercs and Powertech's are affected by the bug/glitch. So for now, you'll have to wait for one to drop or buy a cheap one off the GTN. Let's hope a fix is on the way.
  10. Hey, great job on making your first video! It's got some good advice for the new guy's and gal's around. Keep up the good work, and you just might be a SWTOR Youtuber in no time!
  11. So I did everything in the DvL event except get the Legendary Status... and I log on and look... it says "Incomplete." on all of them. So.... yeah.... Does this mean I won't get any of my rewards or is it just a bug? I would love to know.
  12. So I've been playing SWTOR a lot lately, and I start Mandalore's Revenge. When I first got to the planet for that Chapter, I heard the Star Wars Republic Commando Main Menu music... being a huge Star Wars fan and being one that has played most of said Star Wars games. That was just awesome, I haven't heard that music in far too long. It cause shivers up my spine you know? Well, other then that, I don't have much else to say, just wanted to express how happy I was to hear that music.
  13. This is to be honest, completely understandable. It's a new Expansion so you guys don't want to give out to much information till you're ready. All I know is I can't wait for more info! I get this feeling the games going to be epic!
  14. Hey, I just wanted to stop by and ask something, was the sniper rolling away? or running? Because the Sniper/Gunslinger both have a roll into cover power that takes them a bit away from you, plus if they use "Bag of Tricks"(Gunslinger power, don't know the name of the sniper's version.) it ends the CD on Hightail it(once again, Gunslinger power.). So they should be able to roll twice. But if not, then I'm not sure how that sniper got away. Okay, so I know this may seem odd, but if powers are used right by a player that knows their class, they can survive a 3-6 person army against them for a good amount of time. I for one, have a Jugg Hybrid(Tank Jugg that has DPS gear, or DPS Jugg that has the tank form on.) and I can take on 3-4 people at once and take out 1 or 2 before death. And the "crazy damage" might be people using the in game damage boost that can be picked up around the map, Just because someone is a low level doesn't mean they can't do a good amount of damage if they know their class, tho 2 hitting someone is a bit odd, but did that person have armor on? or were they at low health? I know those are dumb questions but I have to ask because I wasn't there. Also, like joshfoust said, download a free(tho make sure to take safety in your search, I'd hate for you to get a virus.) screen recorder so you can record said people, might help to see what the said hackers are doing. Not sure If I helped, tho I hope I have, if there's anything else in this thread I can attempt to help with I'll be glad to try. -Nick
  15. Hey everyone! If your on BC(Begeren Colony, mainly because I know it works here) and you see a hypercrate at about 15mil or lower(lower is better) then buy it and open it, don't hit "Take all" just let it sit there so the packs unbind(mainly to save space) and then sell the packs for around 800K if you can, this tactic has worked for me for a while, and as long as you sell the packs for more then 600K each you'll make a profit. Use the guide above to get to the point of buying a hypercrate first tho, or you can check out a few guides on Youtube on how to make credits. Hope this helped! Well I hope you all have a ton of luck making credits and enjoy SWTOR!
