  1. Who on earth makes a friend after doing one quest or flashpoint in the game with them? That's not a friend. Furthermore, I seriously doubt you have enough people on your friend list that are doing the same level content and are online simultaneously to form a group reliably.
  2. If only the LFG Comment column was visible beyond 12 characters or something ridiculous.
  3. WoW always had a LFG system. From day 1. It evolved into what it is today. It wasn't just magically added 5 years later.
  4. So, just like any other security key. Gotcha.
  5. Just wanted to let people know, as I just figured it out myself. When you do a /who and enter LFG as the search terms, you can see everyone with an LFG flag on your server. It took me 7 days to figure this out, so maybe not everyone else has either. So while it is an awful LFG tool nontheless, at least use it so there's more than 4 people on my entire server who use the flag.
  6. WoW has always had LFG tools. Why people keep using the addition of the modern 1 button matchmaking tool as the definition of when WoW suddenly got a LFG tool is beyond me. Personally I thought the non-automatic LFG tool they had in TBC was great, and way ahead of SWTOR.
  7. WoW had LFG tools throughout its entire lifetime. They weren't always 1 button matchmaking though. It started with an LFG channel, then they added a tool to search people flagged for LFG, then they added the option to check boxes for what you wanted to LFG by dungeon/quest... WoW has always had an LFG tool, and it has evolved the whole time.
  8. How are you gonna meet and befriend someone in the time it takes to out level a dungeon? Common sense please.
  9. While I am totally in favor of a more robust LFG tool, I'd just like to point out that right now, you can still /who server wide for people with a LFG tag. Type /who [Enter] Enter the Search Terms: LFG Click the Search button. It will show you everyone on the server with an LFG flag, regardless of what planet they are on. That being said, there are a whopping 6 people on my entire server right now with their LFG flag on, including myself. So while it is friggin' awful, please use it until we get something that is actually effective. I'm tired of running circles in Ironforge... I mean Fleet.
  10. So what you're saying is that you didn't get the email from SWTOR.com sent to all registered forum members (regardless of whether you read the forum daily or not) the day preorders started, which clearly indicated that early access would be on a first come first serve basis of registered preorder codes? Or that you ignored it and didn't read it? First come first serve early access is also a reward for dedicated fans who have been waiting the longest. If you just joined the forum last month (theoretically), why would you be entitled to getting in before everyone else who preordered months ahead of you?
  11. Because the first million will be off the starter worlds at that point and not crashing those zones with 2 million people.
  12. You only had to pay $5 to preorder and register a key. Woopie. It's a successful launch. Period. If they hadn't said that registering as early as possible would get you into the game sooner, I definately would not have preordered on the first day. The information was clearly there for all to see because I don't make it a habit of preordering a game 5 months in advance otherwise.
  13. I agree there should be more people in, but not at the expense of creating queues and lag. I actually got to play a launch without lagging out of the game every 5 minutes. It was nice.
  14. Apparently the name Shepard is already taken on that server.
  15. Yeah, uhm. Only a fraction of the player base is raging. The rest are either playing, or are sensible mature adults who can stand to wait another day.
  16. How did you manage to play the game before 7:00 CST when they sent the first invites? Yeah, you should have probably done some research before trolling.
  17. In how many of those could you actually play without lagging out of the game every 5 minutes? Just saying.
  18. How you gonna get ganked on worlds the opposite faction can't travel to?
  19. Sorry you couldn't get in today because you delayed your 5 dollar preorder. Would you like cheese with your whine?
  20. I'm sure they're just trying to distribute players across servers evenly by artificially lowering the server pop cap. I assume however that if your guild was deployed to one server, you can access it regardless of this cap.
  21. Figure out how to play Dark Souls and SWTOR simultaneously so SWTOR feels harder than it really is, and Dark Souls feels easier.
  22. <- First dayer. Got my invite at 7:00 AM CST, as promised. Now if only I wasn't stuck at work.
  23. It's not fair. Noone ever said it would be fair. Nowhere does it say it has to be fair.
