I ran through it last night with my F!Trooper and decided to take both flirting options (because I viewed it as my Trooper being sarcastic). Here's the gist of what I got: Either way, I'm pleased they are (apparently) allowing you to S/S flirt with the vanilla LI companions to an extent, even if you might get shot down at the end. Guess we'll see if this continues with Aric Jorgan in the next chapter.

Riling up Aric Jorgan every time I flirted with Jonas Balkar in the class mission. His reactions (especially the perfect way Tim Omundson delivered them) never ceased to amuse me (plus getting him all flustered when you ask if he thinks Elara is attractive), which made me sad that he had nothing to say -not even affection losses- when you flirt with the new folks in SOR. So of course, I'm looking forward to having Jorgan back. My Trooper hates Theron, but if I can rustle a jimmy or two this time around, hmm... haha, I'm mean.

I really hope you'll be able to same-sex flirt with the LI characters from your own class. The fact F!Agents apparently can't with Kaliyo is disconcerting, given people have been requesting same-sex romance with class LIs for years. Though I'll begrudgingly accept the concession that non-Agents of both sexes can. Guess we'll see what happens with Aric Jorgan and M!Troopers in the next chapter. Anyhow... Smuggler is with Theron currently (though he kinda fooled around a little with Koth), but if given the choice to flirt with Corso when the time comes, I'm definitely taking it. Trooper, despite being a tease, is staying loyal to Jorgan. Knight is not romanced with anyone (she's good friends with Koth, but so far as I know/care, Doc doesn't exist in her story, haha) Warrior might've flirted with Lana during SOR, but he too is staying single. F!Inquisitor is bisexual. Right now, she's with Lana in SOR (I don't think I'll commit to the romance), but given the chance, she'll probably flirt with Kaliyo, Jorgan, and whoever else comes up. F!Consular is staying single. I liked Felix as a character, but he was not a good match for my Consular. F!Bounty Hunter is staying loyal to Torian. M!Agent is in a relationship with Koth, but we'll see what happens, is all I'm saying...

THANK YOU. Don't really care about Andronikos and his issue, but I gotta say, it blew my mind when I saw that Corso couldn't use Torchy anymore. That pretty much sums up the height of idiocy when it comes to this whole neutering of the companions in this update. Aric Jorgan using only Sniper Rifles now, I get. Yuun using Techblades? Okay, cool, doesn't bother me. Andronikos with only one pistol and Corso can't use Torchy? That's just wrong. (But that's not getting into the whole thing about removing the special abilities that made every companion unique... but that's another rant for another thread)

Given that one has to actually pay money (albeit converted to game-specific currency) for Treek and HK, I can see why they would at least give them some things to say since AFAIK, they don't speak during the class missions themselves (or so I've noticed with Treek... not yet gotten HK, so I can't say for sure). But that's still no excuse for not doing stuff for characters like Qyzen, Yuun, Bowdaar, Blizz, et al... even Khem Val, too. *sigh* Well, looks like I'm gonna have to swap Scourge out with Treek for the remainder of my Knight's run on Rishi, since what's the point of having him there if he doesn't get to do a damn thing. That's going to be lodged in my craw for a while, I think. =T (Probably for the best... I need a healer and I hate Doc, lmao)

Well, I just about choked on my cookies and milk reading this. Because it's true. *shudders* (One of the reasons why I went with a healing spec Consular... so I wouldn't have to use Tharan unless absolutely necessary)

I was directed to this thread by someone on Tumblr, and chalk me up as another someone who's baffled and disappointed at the lack of any real companion content. By far and away, the most egregious "offense" (for lack of a better term) is Lord Scourge: given his past history and who was involved in this expansion story, I would have thought he'd have something to say: even if it was making an observation through the Force when you head to Rishi. (I honestly thought he was bugged, until I pulled out Akaavi on my Smuggler and found that she had nothing to say as well) I have not yet done the class-specific quest, but I've already kinda read up on it... and it's a waste that we have a character that IMO was practically useless reappear there, yet NOTHING with Scourge commenting about Revan, the Emperor, et al. What the what. Sad thing is, I'd only now really started to get into his character and then yeah. :T Nope, the only companion who got to do anything outside of observational dialogue and intro cinematics is Talos. (Not that I'm complaining about Talos specifically... I rather do like him, quite honestly, but hopefully you catch my drift) I'll be blunt and repeat what I said on my tumblr blog: I'd rather have waited a little bit longer for this expansion if it meant they had more time to integrate the companions into the story better. If nothing else, they should have done a hell of a lot more with Scourge. Out of all the companions, he has the most stake in it from a lore standpoint and the fact they blew it is jarring. I'm not saying they should make up for this with a Companion-centric update -although it would be nice, but I suspect we'll get playable togruta race before that-, I just hope they keep this in mind for any future huge, story-centric updates/expansions.

I would love more colors that are far less garish and eye-blearingly bright than most of the ones we have already. It's kind of obnoxious to find that a dye color looks like the saturation was jacked up to 11 in Photoshop, with little thought given to how it would coordinate with certain other colors (esp. the tertiary) on an armor. Case in point: I'd love more colors in the same H/S/V range as the Thana Vesh armor*blue. Like grey-ish red, brown, green, et all. Or even the dark-ish blue on the Black Talon Inquisitor chestpiece as well. And I'd love more creamy-like shades of brown, ivory, and yellow. Those would look quite lovely on certain Jedi Robes and a few casual-like gears. Tell me about it. I RP my Smuggler with a preference for men, and I'm pretty annoyed at how the game forces you to either flirt with all the women, or be an incredibly rude jerkass towards them when you turn them down if they show even a hint of interest in you (needless to say, I winced at how brutal the 'You're not my type' line was towards Risha in one of her conversations, considering the first two were both flirt ones). Blah! Needless to say, I was pretty happy when there was a bi flirting option for males with one of the characters in the Bounty Hunter week missions.
