Third, random mods can now be purchased from the random Tech Fragment vendor.
This is a problem. We don't want random mods, if you're going to make mods purchasable make bring back the old vendors we had for pvp in 2.0 where we had every type of mod and we could choose which ones we want. We don't want more RNG, please just stop with it.
Also as somebody else already stated you didn't address anything about crafting which is in a terrible state right now and should really be looked into.

I have both a Sent / Mara and Guardian / Jugg and the Burst Specs, Concentration / Fury and Focus / Rage needs to be nerfed. Why is any Class, especially in PvP, bursting for 25k to sometimes even 40k per hit? That's just insane damage output. That Spec needs to be reworked so that it does not offer an unfair advantage to players who premade or even Win Trade.
There isnt anything wrong with their burst other than it being too low. Before the 4.0 surge nerfs you could actually global somebody and it actually took skill to not get deleted in pvp.
All pvp is now is a bunch of care bears who cant find a way to stay alive with 10 different dcds all while doing 2k dps and then they go cry on the forums.

The costs for crafting items are way to high in comparison to everything else we've ever had to craft. Also 200 scrap for 1 material is outrageously expensive and needs to be reduced. It should be 1-1 like everything else or maybe slightly higher because its a new material.
It feels like this promise of not making things a ridiculous grind like it was on ossus was a complete lie. Making things overly expensive to try and increase the shelf life of your content isn't good, stop doing it.

The gearing is too slow and full of random **** nobody wants. You guys really should just go back to the gearing systems we had before 5.0 where each boss had a specific peice that would drop plus random pieces of non setbonus gear based on what was in the group.
Nobody should be getting unmoddable green items from spending hours doing your content. We want the set bonus gear to drop from doing activities. The gear we get from bosses is stuff that should be dropping from the random trash kills. The loot system also needs to be fixed to actually drop gear based on who's in the group. As other people here have said you get items that you cant use for your class/role and even the group loot drops loot for nobody in the group.
I highly doubt you'll actually listen to feedback that your given just like always, but seriously just go back to how everything used to be, there wasnt anything wrong with it.
Also for change the item tooltip colorings back to how they used to be. None of this blue moldable gear bs.

This thread was made to try and be helpful and get people into ranked and more knowledgeable about it until you came in here having a bad attitude. Don't try and be toxic towards people and then try to turn it around on them when they act the same way back.And thank you for demonstrating exactly what is wrong with ranked and cannot be fixed - your bad attitudes. -
Draxzim is a very good ranked dps especially on his mara/sent. Their team improved a whole lot from the days they first started to play group ranked (atleast the ones vs our group). Their main composition can play vs the best of us now and have extremely high quality games. They were also probably the only team outside of a few other players on starforge that I honestly cant say ever refused to play us if they had their main team available to play.
Draxzim if he chooses to help people who want to improve in group ranked, can definitely do so in probably most aspects of individual play and also strategies (especially hard swaps). Listen, learn, practice, rethink, practice again and perfect the style you want to play and never give up. These are some steps that any new team that want to improve in group ranked should take.

Group ranked ratings are inflated because of the excessive amount of wintrading and botting that's going on. The devs didn't do anything about it last season so people are just go about inflating their rating unpunished and any of the real competitive teams have quit so there is truly nothing stopping them.

nobody wants a pre-season. please use your non-mind and don't bother us with two months of ********. It requires a brain with a disability to do something like this for 2 months after you say there will be a 3-month short season.I'm not playing a game that starts in October.I'm boycotting and leaving the game

BW should be more military about this. If someone is caught cheating/hacking/wintrading etc...shutdown ranked on the server for 30 days and then start the season over. Group punishment.
Yes let's give the toxic swtor pvp community a way to shut down ranked for 30 days and reset ratings... great idea!

Making the seasons shorter is a good idea and definitely needed, but please don't bring back old rewards. You'll just make having those rewards meaningless to everyone. All of those players including myself who earned those rewards in their appropriate seasons don't want all of these new people running around with them, especially with the amount of cheating the last few seasons have had. Rather than giving everybody old rewards how about spending more than 5 minutes coming up with rewards for new season. The past 3 seasons rewards have been awful and lazy in comparison to previous seasons. If you put even a quarter of the effort you put into making all these new cartel items into ranked rewards you might actually have good rewards that players really want.

Great question! A pre-made (in Unranked) can only have a max of 1 tank and 1 healer in their group.

Almost everything you constantly gripe about in solo ranked is solved by group ranked. The issue is I think a lot of mediocre players prefer solo ranked as it allows them to blame the randoms for their own shortcomings.
This is so true. All you need a team of like minded people and a little bit of dedication to climb in G ranked. If all of these people who complain that they can't climb in solos because of all the wintrading and throwers came together and made a team they might be able to get somewhere.

Not sure if this is the kind of scaling you're asking about.
But hitting for 30k hits in pvp, the same amount I was hitting in 5.0 when people had 250k less health, feels really terrible. Removing DCDs to help with the TTK doesn't work when you don't increase the damage players are doing while pretty dramatically increasing health pools. That has pretty much been the biggest problem in pvp the past few years, not the amount of dcds people have but just the fact nobody does any meaningful damage.
It could be that we were only in 306 gear or unoptimized 318 gear from the vendor that made feel that way, but even hitting the level 75 dummy I was hitting for pretty low numbers and that's 5 levels below me. I get that they might not want to go back to pre 4.0 surge nerfs scaling where if you knew what you were doing you could get genuinely global somebody and something like an ambush could do 80% of your health. But your abilities that are supposed to be big burst only doing around 10-15% is not enough damage to lower the TTK like they say they want. No amount of DCD pruning will change the TTK when players simply do no meaningful damage.
