Everything above is updated. Just missing 1 Merc/Commando parse to get every class a full leaderboard.
Also, when 2.0 hits this thread will no longer be updated. Obviously higher gear will lead to higher parses so there's minimal point in comparing parses before and after 2.0. I'll likely wait a while for people to get geared before starting a new thread as I don't want to stick in 20 updates a day just to show who's the most geared. If you do have a fantastic parse before a new thread is up, then please do save it on torparse.

Do you guys have any proof this was on NM? Your screenshot only shows him with 1,045,947 HP, but in videos I've found he is supposed to have 1,288,301 HP.
Here is a recent video, go to 9:23 to see him highlight the boss and clearly show the HP.
http://www.twitch.tv/arlielle/c/1907116
Our video, you can see his HP at around 6:30.
It doesn't show on either of your videos, or the one our sniper took, but watch closely from 10:00 until the end on this one:
I keep Kephess targeted for about a second after he's dead and his HP drops from 1.28 mil to 1.04 mil. Looks like screenshots can only prove Nightmare mode by loot or codex popping.

So after a discussion with my guildmates having never seen anyone else on Imp fleet with the Praxon Firaxa, it got me wondering how many people on the server actually have the rarest, coolest mount in the game. Screw the tank, take your Throne home, I don't want to hear about your blue ball, This is the coolest mount in the game.
Post yours up if you have one or know someone with one.

This is a 100% bs, illegitimate parse. If you can tell me why, I will rest easy. But consider this: the parse took longer than the editing.
Too easy. I sent you an in game mail saying what it is (from Encelodus, forgot to put that in the mail), for the sake of the thread as well I will not be sharing your mistake/illegitimacy.
I'm entirely against requiring video proof of parses for several reasons. First of all, acquiring video capture and processing software pretty much requires paying for it or pirating, neither of which I advocate for an open entry competition. Secondly, with those video capture programs running, those on lower performance machines, or machines with little free hard drive space will see crippling performance drops. Then considering you don't know which parse will be "THE" highest of the day, you will likely be saving multiple videos, further degrading machine performance for many. But to end the discussion, syncing video to parse to prove legitimacy is a time consuming matter, requires flytext to be enabled, and absolutely will not work when watching DOT classes having so many numbers fly off that they stream together.

Updated all the above except this one.

High-end raiding guilds don't need to buy crafted gear; they earn their upgrades by killing bosses.
Speak for yourself on that line of bull. Because I use a different class' set bonus I needed 4 armorings crafted for my head, gloves, legs, and boots. Then because itemization is so poor, I passed on all those rolls in TFB since they would at best give me one useful mod, and had mods and enhancements for all 4 of those pieces crafted. Then I had to have a mod or enhancement crafted for both main and offhand (obtained from drops) since that itemization was poor as well. The because screw it, I'm swimming in stabilizers (no I don't farm them in pvp), I went and upgraded my pyro from full Campaign to full Dread Guard buying stuff from Harbinger Crafters.
Anyways, heard the ticket was resolved in your favor HC. Congrats on that, and thank god Bioware draws a line somewhere on gbank theft.
-
A bunch of trying too hard.
Updated all the above. Aldeneyaa, I`ve been rounding all DPS values up when they end in 0.5 or higher, seems both consistent and fair to round 4:59:501 up to 5 minutes. Also rounded your DPS to 2000 in the same manner, making your parse officially the most helped by simple rounding rules.
-
For HM EC, pug or guild raid, I have no problems with my group or any other locking him in beserk since the mechanics break hard with good DPS.
For NiM EC, you better kill it straight up for progression. That's the point of progression, beating the encounter as it was designed. You can run your farm runs however you want though.
-
I think people seem to forget that the blazing Johnnyboy who ripped them off was a trusted officer who helped found the guild. So please all, before you chime in about how secure your gbank is, ask yourself what you can do to keep your co/assistant GM, or even your GM, from ripping your whole bank off.
-
Updated all the above. Vashe's parse puts every class over 1900 DPS now.
-
you don't HAVE to railshot as soon as PPA procs - you have a 6 second window before you can proc it again, so if you don't have a CG proc up at the time, just do 1-2 other attacks (flame burst/RP/RpS depending on heat and CD, or retractable blade if the dot need to be renewed).
This did not occur to me. Though waiting to Rail Shot means you have less time to proc the auto-crit before your next Rail Shot. Neither did the fact that a 35% buffed base crit chance on live is turning into about a 20% crit chance on the PTS. I still have my doubts, but I'll be interested in seeing them proven wrong. Stupid PT is the only character I have that hasn't transferred over to the PTS, or has been given the time to run through Hutta.
-
Right now on live you can spec into the auto-crit Rail Shot in AP, as well as have a functional enough Pyro tree. One of my guildmates loves searching for hybrid specs everytime he dings a new class to 50 and was asking my help to test its viability. In short, on live it's several hundred DPS lower due to the fact you miss a lot of passive but significant damage buffs in the pyro tree, and that's no where near offset with the auto-crit talent. In fact, working Explosive Fuel into my rotation on live I can crit 50% of my railshots on a 2100+ parse for 5 minutes with 28 points in Pyro. Another guy on my server who has the PVP set bonus crits 75% of his railshots for 2200+ parses. Now, why does this matter? Because trying the hybrid build on live I only increased my crit percentage on railshot to just under 70%. With railshot proccing with a higher percentage (45/60%) than the Retractable Blade damage (25%), you simply don't gain the auto-crit proc fast enough to warrant losing many other talents.

Updated Rokuthy.
R'usty there are no fights listed in your torparse link.
Idnewton, the Nightmare Pilgrim buff falls into the category of "external buffs." I'll update the original post to explicitly disallow it. +50 all stats is a significant buff, and only having it for 4 hours every 5 days, provided your guild feels like doing NP, is a complete pain in the *** to anyone who wants to compete on an equal level.
-
Updated all the above. Very well done Smurf.
Side note, I'll have limited internet access from tomorrow thought March 2nd. Keep putting your updates in and I'll get them posted on March 3rd at the latest.
-
The tank with the Thermal Tolerance debuff takes significantly increased damage from all sources, including adds. The adds will normally hit ~5k, the debuff takes it up to nearly 20k. If you're ever taking several 20k hits at a time in any fight, you either hit an enrage or you're not doing the mechanics right.
-
Also, I hate to mention it since I'm the only other Operative, but for the OP, it looks like Invinc's parse of 1918 is only a little over 4 minutes long.
All of the above updated. Also I've removed Invinc's 1918 parse as it is in fact only 4 minutes. I didn't catch that sifting through the old 30 page thread . Invinc had another parse in the thread for 1795 so I updated his place with that. Carle we would all love to see you back on the boards with another 1900 parse, just make sure it's 5 minutes.
-
Updated with Doc'Holiday's and Beskosei's parses. Lanfir your parse is not even 4 minutes, to standardize the conditions all parses must be a minimum of 5 minutes. I suggest running for 6 minutes so you have some room to trim the parse.
-
Updated. Fantastic job breaking 2k with a Shadow/Sin Mycharacter.
-
He uploaded an earlier parse here http://www.torparse.com/a/83754/1/0/Damage+Dealt that has identical times and damage values except that he does 55k less damage from his dots. Looking at the logs, the time stamps are identical, the only thing that changed was a higher damage gained from his dots, which changing from the two-three specs cannot be gained in a flat out 100+ dps change.
Thanks, pulled up both parses and tabbed between them, only the damages changed. Updated Worf's parse to be 2091.

For PvE single bosses the opener should be along the lines of this:
Saber Throw
Jump
Impale
Force Scream
Smash (the Single Target Taunt)
Ravage
Sunder (and Enrage)
Impale
Force Scream
AOE taunt if mechanics allow it.
Also hit Retaliation as soon as it lights up. Enrage can go just about anywhere before the second Impale as long as you're at or under 6 Rage. After that opener your heavy moves are on cooldown (though Smash will be up soon), and you start to feel the Rage starvation of the 18/23 build. Until Enrage comes back off CD, you will often find yourself too Rage starved to hit both Impale and Force Scream on cooldown. Keep Sundering Assault on cooldown to maximize its Rage generation, and on fights with 2 bosses near each other (EC Tanks, TFB Tentacles), you can Saber Throw to the other boss to generate more Rage.
Then you have to make a decision, are you getting hit very hard and need more mitigation, or are you trying to put out as much damage as possible? For the former, prioritize hitting Force Scream on cooldown for it's ~1k barrier, for the latter prioritize Impale (or Vicious Throw if under 30%) on cooldown. Smash and Ravage are free so use them when they come up (but make sure you won't have to clip your Ravage).
-
Ii wasn't going to unilaterally remove a parse that would bump mine up on the boards, though I did see (and skimmed past) the discussion of it in the old thread. Show me the 2097 link and elaborate why you think the 2228 parse is edited.
-
Also I will be updating this post to show the top parses for each class on the same list. The format will be Rank - Class - Player - DPS - % of 1st place.
Class Leaders
1) GS/Sniper - Wales. 2251 DPS.
2) VG/PT - Smürf'ñ'tûrf. 2220 DPS. 98.62% of first place.
3) Sentinel/Mara - Beastfury. 2162 DPS. 96.05% of first place.
4) Commando/Merc - Toester. 2086 DPS. 92.54% of first place.
5) Shadow/Sin - Mycharacter. 2007 DPS. 89.16% of first place.
6) Scoundrel/Operative - Invinc. 1947 DPS. 86.49% of first place.
7) Sage/Sorc - Jurbeke 1926 DPS. 85.56% of first place.
8) Guardian/Jugg - Vashe. 1908 DPS. 84.72% of first place.
Note, these rankings are not meant to pick on any class, convince people to reroll, or to boot certain classes from raids. Personally, I will always take the Deception Sin who's cleared NiM EC with me over a random Sniper/PT/Mara since I know he plays at the cap of his class, and is a competent raider. Other classes like Guardians/Juggs will not parse as high on a dummy since they get an insane DPS boost under 30%. This list is merely a comparison of the top parses for each class.

EDIT: This thread was for pre-2.0 parses only, and is now closed to submissions.
Hello all, Gorthog/Amelthea of APEX here. It appears Chuckles is lost trying to find where all the recruit geared snipers guarding off-nodes went, so I'm going to pick up the DPS leaderboard thread he started a while ago. The rules are the same in the old thread, and I should have the leaderboard updated with all the posts in the old thread (let me know if I missed yours!). I have also added a parse from my Powertech Amelthea.
Rules
~At least a 5 minute parse.
~Must be either on a ship Operations Dumby or the Operations dumbie from the fleet.
~You can use all 4 class buffs, adrenals, and stims.
~Cannnot however use external buffs ex. (inspiration from another source other than yours, armor debuff from another source, Nightmare Pilgrim buff)
~Link from TORparse (you may trim the time in the parse to see where you did the most, just make sure it's at least 5 minutes). Note: you can trim a parse by selecting a start and stop time in the "By time" drop down tabs under the listing of all your fights on torparse. You can trim both beginning and end ramp ups/downs. I will not trim fights for you, I will click on the provided link and take the number shown there. Some parses below will go up a bit if trimmed.
~Last but not least, have fun!
Top 5 per each DPS class will make the list!

Disclaimer: I am not the best tank in the game, nor am I trying to show off a kill on a boss that's over 2 months old. I also run a hybrid Jugg tank, and don't have enough hand skills to keybind the necessary 25+ abilities used in the spec. I have over a dozen utility and defensive CDs keybound though, so don't start parroting that clicker **** that seems to be the only thing many of you trolls seem capable of saying.
I've been asked by a few guildmates and other friends how I handle my part on Kephess so their raid groups can down him, and I thought making a video would be the best way of doing so. We run the Tatooine Royal Navy strategy on the Trenchcutters (found here, and many thanks to TRN for developing this strategy). My point of view is from playing Where's Waldo trying to pick up the Warriors, and as far as I know there aren't any videos showing that point of view for this strat.
Our raid's Mumble talk is included as well so people unfamiliar with the fight can get an idea of the callouts necessary once Kephess drops down. Please note though, dealing with Kephess will require different cooldown staggering and other strategy tweaks as you change the tank composition. We run a Jugg and Sin tank combo, which like all combos has its ups and downs.
