  2. So SWtor devs, When are you going to deal with this issue? I've played many MMO's. looking back at them, this is a candidate for a hotfix. Yet there is only silence in the camp of bioware. A class should have a balacne between (burst) damage and utility and defensive skills. You cranked all of those into one class the juggernaut/guardian. it is an unkitable class. Mind you that beeing snared or rooted for 3 seconds each 10 seconds counts towards beeing unkitable. After leaps they are immune to any kind of root or bounce, You can not control them. They do control you. Sure you have a CC breaker, but it's easier for the jugg to put you in his position, then is it for allmost most of the classes to get out. The root of a jugg/guardian is the last place you want to be. The damage that follows is often off the charts. I've been brought down from 100% to 10% (32500, expertisecapped, 30% armor) in just the ravage cast with no place to go. This in no more time then 2 GCD's. This class has many defensive skills which last a very long time, if not the longest ingame of all classes. Their migitation value is high, if not the highest of all the classes. The combination of these factors makes me scratch my head. Saberreflect counts as an invinsibilitybubble. In many MMO's with invinsibilitybubbles the class who could use it suffers some kind of penalty. For instance. Sorcs must channel theirs (Huge penalty!). Guardians/ juggs dont. They just happily DPS on while you count 1...2...3...4... to start DPS again. You can not lay control on the juggernaut/guardian class, nothing what so ever. Their ninterception tools are formidable. Their damagemitigation is the best ingame. Their selfhealing is brutal for a dps class (0-100 in one go) (Burst) Damage wise they are on par with other classes. So, where did your calculators fail?
  3. Hey guys, Today in the warzone I had my force barrier break twice on me, 2-3 seconds in the channel. Both times I had a warrior dpsing me. I don't what skills he used or he just plain dps'ed. Is this working as intended? Maybe I am just bugged I had some more weird quirks going on. regardz
  4. I have this idea on bolster. So It should close the gap, gearwise, between those who don't hardcore pvp and those who do? So I had this communist idea Why doesn't bolster do 2 things; - When you wear PVE gear, you get boosted to fixed stats (say some 90% or so, of top tier pvp gear). Regardless of level of gear you are wearing. - When you wear partial PVP gear or lower tiers of PVP gear, you get boosted 90% to 99% of the top tier pvp gear, depending on how close you are to the full set of highest tier PVP gear. In my opinion this does a couple of things; Pro's; - Reduce the effectiveness of people running around in ops PVE gear wiping people in pvp gear (only due to bolster beeing broken currently). - increased effectiveness of undergeared (PVP/PVE) players. It will mean that with little or no effort youll be very viable in WZ's. On the flipside it will 'balance teams more because undergeared players will be as much vable as OPS gear wearing players. - It is profitable to get the highest tier PVP gear. - simpeler and thus more effective way of bolstering. - Lesser chance for oddities and buggs where people can exploit certain types/levels of gear because of simplicity. Con's; - undermines the sence of achievement a bit. - takes away the fun of chrushing an enemy team due to gear differences. Just an idea. There might be even better suggestions for a system like this.
  5. I disagree m8. I know we had sic burst 2.0, but it's all we had. If you compare defensive skills of a PT to other classes you'll see that we don't have many. Our burst was our defense. In many 1vs1 battles I did pre 2.0 it came very close. Either I died and me opponent had some 10% health or vise versa. Snipers ate me whole. Either we need our pre 2.0 burst back, Or we need more effective defensive skills.
  6. I do 500K - 800K dmg a warzone. When multiple healers are around I get near to 0 kills. Let me guess your awnser, either L2P or do moar damage?
  7. The balance in this game is among the worst I have seen and I have played my share of MMO's. IMO gamebreaking mechanics shoul be hotfixed. A sniper is overpowered, but the effect in general isn't as bad as the state healing is in right now. Tactics don't work when you have redundant healers on the enemy team. It can't be done. All the blood sweat and tears you put into locking that healer and trying to kill him is nullified by 2-3 healing allies of him. And then the one step beyond overpowered healing: Overpowered healing by a sorc. So you bring that dude down to 20% health by carefully times interrupts and stuns with 3 guys. The dude simply bubbles and waits for help while getting healed up for 100%. the story begins anew, only this time you have no more stuns. GG
  8. /bump. Healing is to strong in pvp imo. Seen plenty of matches where 5-6 dps try to take down one healer. It survives easy. tbh it makes pvp pretty boring.
  9. Dear bioware. The state of Powertech in pvp is appalling. Where we used to be able to burst down enemies. Since the expansion we lack that compared to other classes. Also we lack decent defensive abilities. Other classes have many defensive abilities, mostly AND, sometimes or, escape mecanics AND bursting capabilities. By lacking comparable burst AND defensive skills, the powertechclass is half a class. Either 1) return our burst to make up for our lack of defenses. 2) give us 2-3 effective defensive abilities. Can't post enough about this.
