My guess is that he was out of your LOS and you saw him when he moved into view.

I want to play as an actual tank with a support role to the team.

So I probably should have asked this before leveling to 50, but how good/useful is a jedi guardian tank in pvp? Is it something people are happy to see on their team, or are they wishing the just had another Dps or different kind of tank? Thanks! PS any pointers for a newbie PvP tank would be great.
