  1. Thanks for the conversation with Vector! It would be great to see him in future content as well.
  2. Not for me. For me story is the core and reason I subscribe.
  3. Unfortunately, some people complained loudly that we were getting too much story content with the chapters. Bioware listened to them and stopped releasing the monthly chapters. So, now we only get content two or three times a year.
  4. I would like the following: Content for class LIs, especially Vector Companion quests Longer story Planetary quest lines Side quests that are not just dailies Regular schedule of story updates throughout the year (at least quarterly)
  5. Vector is my favorite LI and companion. He is supersweet and a little bit strange. I also like Kaliyo, however, so I am an exception to your rule.
  6. SWTOR subscription costs between $156 to $360 per year. Even at the lower end, that is over the cost of two AAA games per year. Even if the class stories can't continue, Bioware should at least be able to afford content with the class LIs in expansions.
  7. Agree that story/solo mode should be changed to advance the story, and group mode should be added to group finder.
  8. I agree with the op! In expansions at least, they should have content for class LIs. My main is IA, so I want content for Vector.
  9. Sorry, my mistake. I initially thought my saboteur agent had rejoined the Empire, but that turns out not to be the case (which is fine by me; as long as she stays a saboteur, I don’t really care either way). The choice I really didn’t like was the one marked as saboteur dialogue that doesn’t save the civilians. When I picked it, I didn’t know they could be saved and thought that option was the best that could be done. Then, when Theron was mad at the end, I had no idea why until I read that there was an option to save them.
  10. Somewhat strangely the Empire "saboteur" dialogue choice doesn't stop it. Now I know why Theron was mad at the end...
  11. Some choices are labeled with "saboteur." You might not have gotten to those choices yet. Also, in the fight at the start you "miss" the ship you are firing at.
  12. With my ds sw I picked Alliance (even though at the start I was intending to pick Empire). The loss of power was too large to go back to Wrath again after being the leader of the Alliance.
  13. The IA saboteur story was lots of fun! I am looking forward to that plot continuing in future story releases (hopefully soon!). I hope they can also include some content for Vector in future releases.
  14. I played through as an Imperial Agent saboteur. There was 0 content for Vector, which was disappointing. Not sure about the other class LIs, but likely the same. I enjoyed the saboteur part, especially as my pc was an agent. Probably the general story was the same, but you could make everything fail and then blame it all on Malgus. There are [saboteur] dialogue choices that make the mission fail for the Empire. You also meet with Jonas at the end, and he gives you a brief teaser for a new mission (which is to be continued). For my saboteur I picked working for the emperor, thinking that the pc was lying but trying to get on the emperor's good side. Hopefully that is what it meant!
  15. This is how I play: I subscribe when there is new story content (or a bit before). I play the new story on my main and then on an alt. If there is a particularly nice new stronghold that I can afford, I buy and decorate that. But, most likely it will be too expensive, and so I will skip it. Same with gear. If there is something nice I can work toward, I might try and get it. But, most likely it will be too expensive or gated behind something I don't play, such as ops. In that case I will skip it. Whatever gear I have will have to be good enough. If they gate something I want, such as a companion, behind pvp, I will do pvp until I get that thing. I am sure my team is happy to see me in my crappy gear, but oh well, I will get the thing I am working toward eventually, whether we win or lose. After that, I have a number of alts at various stages of the story. I pick one of those alts, and level the alt through the story until I reach the end of the current story or become bored with it. Then, I look to see when new story content will be coming. Most likely, it won't be for at least 6 months. So, I unsubscribe until the new story content is released.
  16. I hope you are right that Bioware is getting back to focusing on the story! Also, what they do after the expansion will determine if I continue subscribing. Will they regularly release story content, or is it back to nothing for the next 3 years?
  17. Post-Kotfe Vector says that the Empire used the Killiks as cannon fodder during the war, and large numbers were slaughtered. He says they are ending their agreement with the Empire to work for the Alliance and the commander. So, I don't think he will mind if the commander sides with the Republic. His loyalty is to the commander, and he was always more light-side anyways.
  18. I liked the chapter format and getting content every month, so that period was the best time for me (other than the launch content). However, I do think the new expansion will be at least worth the $15.
  19. I am excited for the new story and planets. I hope it is a long story with some class references. I also hope they have content with our class LIs, especially Vector, including dialogue for him on the new planets (reacting to quests and the environment).
  20. In the past SWTOR, with dialogue choices, class quests, chapters, planetary story lines and side quests, and companions and love interests, had much better story content than GW2. However, for SWTOR they have stopped making all of that content. Keith has pretty much abandoned story content. When was the last time we had a chapter released? Or a planet with a planetary quest line? My character's li had a 2-minute return. Will that li ever be part of the story again? Current GW2 story is better than current SWTOR story content and comes out much more frequently. GW2 has quarterly story releases that, while you can bring others along, are designed as solo content. It does this while having no monthly subscription fee. Along with the free quarterly releases, it has regularly released paid expansions that contain a lot of story content. They have also always been strong on open world causal group content (such as world bosses and meta events that are easy to join). Does GW2 still require you to pay for gear repair in pvp? They removed that requirement years ago in pve, and it might be the same for pvp? Wait until you get the Griffon! I also love the shrine guardian jackal skin.
  21. Chapters definitely cost more than adding 1 hour of content in 5 months , but I don't think it is necessarily accurate to say most people didn't enjoy the format just because they didn't repeat them as much as other content. For the phone comparison that is pretty much how I feel about the flashpoints they have been adding recently, but it is not how I felt about the chapters. I felt like the chapters gave a reason to subscribe and then I could do other things such as dailies, heroics, etc., for rewards if I felt like it. Whereas the flashpoints are not much of a reason for me to subscribe.
  22. As I said in my previous post, I don't think replay value should be the only criteria for adding content to the game.
  23. I would like Vector to have at least a small part in the next expansion, such as having a companion quest, dialogue on planets and in conversations, etc. I also don't see why he couldn't be recruitable by all classes.
