As I am not as familiar with Krayt, what was your original scenario/argument for his win? Just wondering to gain some extra knowledge and a different viewpoint

I like your analysis and have similar thoughts but some differences. I would like to first mention that I am more familiar with Bane and Kun than Krayt so take my thoughts with that in mind. While it is true that Bane's armor has a weakness to lightning, Krayt's does as well as that is how he was killed the first time by Wyyrlok. Bane was also very strong in lightning so I feel the armor/lightning combo between the two is dead even and in this case would come down to whoever would get a lucky sneak attack lightning strike in. As the prompt states that the 3 do not know each other this gives Kun an advantage. The only thing Bane feared was Dark Magic and Kun was one of the best practitioners of all time. If given time to gather his power while defending attacks (as Zannah was able to do in the final duel vs Bane) with the boost from his amulet, I think Kun would win. (If they did know each other, I think Bane would target Kun from the start to rid himself of this threat). However, and this I feel is the more likely outcome as I don't think Kun would get the aforementioned time, if the fight is strictly upon lightsaber skills, Bane will win. While all 3 are fantastic lightsaber fighters possibly among the top 10 all time from either side of the force, I consider Bane with orbalisk armor to be in the top 3 duelists of all time with Palpatine and Luke. With his orbalisk armor, Bane was able to hold his own and at times overwhelm a duel wielding Jedi Master considered to be one of the best Jedi fighters of all time, another Master, and Knight of whom the duel wielder was using his scrub attacks to her advantage. And, all three of these combatants were fueled by a 3rd Master whose only battle skill was meditation. Given that Bane performed such a feat, I don't believe that any combination of effort of Kun and Krayt against him would be quite enough to defeat him and thus I see Bane winning. Take note that as I stated I am more familiar with Bane and Kun I see two scenarios with one of them winning and none with Krayt winning.

Thanks for the info and clarification; been a while since read the book. Also, agree with and liked your thoughts in regards to that Plagueis/Palpatine shared empire. Too bad Palgueis tried to abolish the Rule of Two

I've been on the game for a while but never posted this on here before. Anyone else from time to time buy an ability from the trainer and then not have it show up on your toolbar? Is it just hidden and I've overlooked it? Does not happen often but it's annoying when it does! I've noticed it'll happen (sometimes) when I'm buying an ability for the first time and not when I'm upgrading a previously bought ability.

Same question as above expect in regards to Krayt's armor.

I see your point in regards to Bane not feeling evil while reading the Bane trilogy. There were a couple times in that trilogy that he does very evil acts (ie, book 1 where he slaughters a father and sons to fuel his push to see Caleb) but in general I agree. Also something to mention is that in the Plagueis novel the only outright evil act in the novel that is not a flashback I can think of that Palpatine does is kill his family as I don't consider killing Plagueis outright evil. Using that same prompt, Plagueis only killed those members of the of that cargo ship in the beginning of whom they were thinking of ransoming him and then hunting down some nobles after they tried to assassinate him. Bane only killed when it served his purpose and notes that he is annoyed with the ruthless ancient Sith whom he considers to be foolish in this regard. Palpatine, and especially Plagueis, honestly believed it was in the best interest of the galaxy to have an authoritarian government in that novel. Most important I think it is to note that in all four of these books, the Sith are whom the plot centers around. If they were ruthless and merciless monsters I don't think the books would be received well. In other EU stories where this is not the case (ie most of them), you see them depicting the Sith differently. Back to the original prompt. I was not disappointed in general but there was a curious inconsistency I would like to share/get fellow thoughts. In Episode 1, Qui-Gon Jinn says that if Anakin was born in the Republic they would've identified him as a Force user. Palpatine is on a core-world (I think?) in Naboo but was not identified until Plagueis' visit when Palpatine was 17ish. The novel states that humans are harder to read in terms of potential. Thoughts anyone??

Hello, I'm kind of late to the swtor party I suppose but have a question. I've exhausted Lord Rathari's planet's missions (Nar Sadow I think but not sure and too lazy to check). Would you recommend going to Balamore and doing those missions, getting Quinn, and then coming back to face Rathari or just suck it up, face the locals, and level up the long way. Vette and I (Sith Marauder) are at level 21. Thanks for any and all replies.
